One of my favorite foundations, I stocked up while it was on sale before Sephora took it off the market for "repackaging". They never re-released it, which was a huge disappointment for me. It was inexpensive, came in great shades, had an SPF of 12, went on flawlessly with a damp sponge, and lasted all day without looking oily or cakey. I hope I can find a suitable replacement :(.

I actually bought this product months ago on sale for $4, like most of the reviewers. Since I'm dark-skinned, and the slightest bit of sun or a few days indoors can alter my color so dramatically, I like to keep a bevy of foundations at my disposal.
When I first purchased, too dark. Now, perfect shade! I have oily/combo skin and usually have to use blotting papers midday to keep shine under control. No need here! Keeps me matte all day long! I def would NOT recommend for dry skin though...might make you look flaky.
Also, it's important to apply this stuff gradually, dab on one part of your face first, blend, and then move on to another. This stuff goes from creamy to powdery almost immediately so work and blend quick!
Only wish this stuff wasn't discontinued. I'd buy more.

I like to mix foundations/skincare to get the right color, amount of SPF, and overall consistency (matte/dewy). It's def a pain to do that, but I do it anyway. Like others, this was on sale at Sephora for $4, so I snatched it up.
I found this product to be a good base to mix with Sephora face-body spf 30, plus a tiny bit of oil-free Sue Devitt bronzer. So that combo works for me.
This product is meant to have a powdery finish, which I think simply does not work on its own--too powdery/dry looking.

Just when I thought my quest for HG foundation couldn't get any lower ... you arrived, Sephora Powdered Liquid Foundation!!! Like others, I snatched this for six bucks at Sephora before my vacation, because my LORAC foundation's screw cap was definitely going to explode with the change in altitude (driving, not flying) and I didn't want that all over. So I figured Goody, a squeezy bottle and mattifying too! And cheap! (I mean, even compared to a drugstore brand like CG, that's pretty darn good!). Alas, too good to be true. Somehow this product managed to be my worst nightmare. I can't coherently express the problems I've had without my friend, the list.
1) Oiliness: Somehow, for a creme to powder, this managed to feel extremely oily on my skin: as in actual oil: canola, olive, take your pick. How bizarre ...
2) Blendability: Even with a sponge, this left streaks you could see several feet away. Continuing to blend made my skin feel raw.
3) Color: Even though I bought the lightest color (see other reviews for my gripes about my foundation-tone woes) this turned yellow on me. This combined with the two above problems left me with yellow pores on a pale face. Huh?
The only thing I liked was the packaging; which, for me, is probably the least important part of a product. Window dressing means practically nil. I hope this was on sale to be discontinued and not just repackaged, as their powders are (love those!).

I picked this up on sale at Sephora for $6 not expecting much, but I really love this! It gives GREAT coverage, leaves a somewhat matte finish but not so matte that I look dead, and was SO cheap! I guess it's being discontinued (hence the sale), but I'm so glad I was able to get a few before they're all gone.

I like the shade (it's yellow-toned), the matteness, and the sunscreen, but the blendability sucks because it dries almost instantly. A sponge helps, and if you do just a small area at a time, that helps as well. I'm also using a primer, which seems to really help. It's not the best and perhaps overpriced for what it is, but it seems good for summer. I wish there was a "maybe!" option for repurchase - I'm still not sure.
Update: okay, minus a lippie because it's started to get tiny little owie chunks or pebbly clumps in it. Yuk! Even less blendable. Too bad. continued >>

I didn't like this stuff very much until I started applying it with a sponge. It's hard to blend with your fingers because it dries to a powder finish quickly. Sponge application keeps it from settling in your pores. It's a great creamy consistency, and provides great coverage. The bottle is sturdy, and it's easy to get every last bit out. Lid snaps firmly shut to prevent gross crust from forming around the opening. Would definitely buy again.

I really like this foundation, it has that dry powdery finish that I love so much. It is a little difficult to blend since it dries so fast so I just do one area of my face at a time and that works out just fine. I wear this in the lightest shade (D05) and it's a perfect match. It doesn't look cakey or chalkey on my skin like other creme-to-powder foundations can (*cough* CG Aquasmooth *cough*). This is definitely a keeper in my book and I'll buy it again!
**UPDATE** I've decided I don't like this much anymore. I've started using Retin-A and my skin is more dry and flakey. This foundation accentuates the flakiness and is difficult to blend on my somewhat dry skin. I don't find it to look as natural anymore. And it doesn't seem to last all day...at the end of the day my skin looks like it does without makeup. I still don't think it's horrible, but it's just not working for me anymore. I'd say this is best for someone with normal skin who wants light coverage.

Never, again! In fact, I am going to return this foundation today (I bought it Friday, today is Monday). The color works; I got D30 (Mac NC35-40), but the blendibility is horrid. Revlon's original colorstay is ten times more blendable that this stuff. When I tred to smooth it on, It would just stay in my pores. I could see the foundation from far away. It took me three tries to try to blend this crap in, and I just quite after the third time. the coverage is minimal, which is disappointing because the foundation is so thick. Just awful. I usually don't return makeup, unless it is really bad. When I tried this stuff and it failed, I wanted to return it the same day (I could not, did not have time).
Total crap. don't waste your time, and it was 18 USD, which is a rip for the quality.

i am not sure i agree with the previous reviews...
i have combo skin and this was bad on me. it applied smoothly and the velvety texture felt great BUT-- when it started clumping and peeling all over the applied areas! :(
i am a fan of sephora brand, but this one was no-go for me.
perhaps if you have really oily skin, this would absorb and fare better than on my skin.

I like trying foundations and wanted very much to use Chanel's Double Perfection Powdered foundation, but the $42 price tag deterred me. So I was very curious about Sephora's version, which is almost a total knockoff, right down to the packaging. The texture of the foundation makes it rather difficult to spread with your fingers (it's not like one little dab works all over your face, rather- I use dabs all over) but then it has a beautiful finish. It's not an oil-blocker, but for my skin which tends to be slightly oily, it lets just a little bit of happy glow through. I wish the cap flipped instead of screwing on, but that's ok. I don't know whether I'll buy again just because my true love is PX Flawless Finish. But worth a try! (by the way I'm nw20, PX Vellum, and I wear this in D22)

I bought this foundation because I'm a junkie and I was curious to see if it could control my oily T-Zone. I chose the shade D30, which suited my MAC NC30-40 skin tone. It comes in a squeeze tube, which is quite nice. I blends in nicely and instantly vanishes into the skin. I don't even need to powder on top if I don't want to (though I do anyway). I used Make Up Forever's loose powder, which is great by the way. It seems to last pretty much all day and has light-to-medium coverage. It lasted 12 hours on me today. My nose got a bit shiny mid-day and I blotted once with Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets. Other than that, my skin stayed matte. Definately a good one to try if you have oily skin like me. continued >>
