Let me start by saying that I have sensitive skin that often has allergic reaction to several products. However, Clinique's SA insisted that this was the right product for me since I shouldn't as she said -because of my sensitivity & visible face veins- use a face scrub with beads for exfoliation.
Silly that I am, I fell for it. At least I knew enough not to use it twice a day as the recommendation on the box said. Instead I used it every night with nothing else on top. When after the first week I felt my face a bit sensitive and tingly, I started using it every second night instead of daily and that was fine for about a month, though I also didn't see any improvement on my skin either (then again I probably wasn't using it as often as I should for that to happen). And then, after using it one night after a week or two of disuse, I woke up with a very red face, extreme itchiness and a very irritated, sandpapery texture on my skin that took about a week, Aveeno's calming cream mixed with cortisone and antihistamin pills to calm down eventually. Suffice it to say I haven't used it since. And I also have to add that I've been using Avene's Ystheal -which contains retinol- for over 2 years with no problems whatsoever.
Surprisingly or not, this is the only Clinique product that has caused me an allergic reaction, so I do have to strain to potential buyers the fact that if you have sensitive skin, this is NOT for you. continued >>

I spend $80 to buy this product and $300 to see a dermatologist right after because of the HAVOC this product caused for my skin.
Never before have I had such a terrible acne break out !!
The doc said that I definitely had an allergic reaction to the product which caused congestion under my skin and then caused me to have an acne breakout within two days of using it.
This product definitely didn't work for me and I will never use it again !
It seems to work for other people so it's probably not a bad product but one things for sure.... don't use it if you have sensitive skin !

this product used to do wonders for my skin. HOWEVER, they changed the formula... and even though the sales told me that the ingredient is pretty much the same, but i feel like it's not as good as the old formula. i'm using this with the Turnaround night cream together, but i don't feel like my skin improved. but overall, i will repurchase only because i haven't found anything that i like better than this yet

I actually still have this pretty full too..lol so if anyone wants it! I used this for about a month and along with the 3 step system (which was recommended by clinique to use together) caused some serious cystic acne! It was insane.. I hate clinique now and after researching all the ingredients I am glad I am not getting addicted to it. They don't use parabens in some of their products but they use alternatives that are just as harmful. We treat our skin like a science project and wonder why adult acne in woman is more and more common! I think going natural is the way to go...it's more expensive but you can feel the difference it makes on your skin:) With any product you should research the ingredients first...I should have...

I usually don't write middle-of-the-road reviews and prefer to only comment on products that are rave-worthy or demonstrably terrible...but I feel that my experience with this product might still have some value.
Now, I have to admit right off that I've only been using it for a little over a week and not the usual two weeks necessary to see pronounced results. I would've given it a little more time to make a proper go of it, but I've had to discontinue use after developing some pretty nasty cystic acne on my jaw, chin, and cheeks since I started using it. I won't lay the blame squarely on the Turnaround Concentrate, since I also dabbled with a new foundation in that time. The new foundation could've caused the reaction, or it could've even been a flare-up that squeaked past my usual medication and topical treatments.
However, in the week and some change that I used it, I really didn't notice a change in the texture, clarity, or smoothness of my skin. Don't get me wrong, there's an IMMEDIATE effect of baby-soft smoothness when applied, which felt lovely, but whenever I washed it off and dealt with my own naked skin, I couldn't really see any difference. Turnaround Concentrate, itself, reminds me of a silicone primer in a lot of ways. I know it's -not- a silicone primer, but the texture is the same: silky and smooth on the skin, but the effect is gone as soon as you take it off.
The main reason that I decided to go with an overall 2 versus a 3, though, was the way it negatively impacted the application of my makeup. It seemed to add another layer that made the coverage patchyl--not super obvious, but I could tell a difference and see that it was off...in much the same way that silicone primers usually affect my makeup. I know, I know, it's NOT a silicone primer, but if you've had a negative experience with them in the past, maybe try a sample of Turnaround Concentrate -first-, since it BEHAVES like one, and Clinique can be pretty particular about returns.
Anyway, for me, at worst, it contributed to an acne-splosion, and at best, it didn't -add- anything to my usual routine, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to scrounge up the original packaging and return it.
EDIT: I decided to change my vote to a 1. After I stopped using this product, my acne-splosion stopped immediately and began to heal. I'm as sure as I can be that this stuff was the culprit.

Love this product and will definitely continue using! I gave this a lower rating due to price and packaging. I personally hate this type of packaging because I feel like there's always product left over.
I'm on my second purchase and will buy again because it's really improved my skin! I was experiencing mild acne and started using this product, the 7 day scrub and one of the lotions and my skin has never looked & felt better.
I recently made a switch to clinique products after trying lots of others on the market and am pretty happy I did!
Big bonuses: Clinque Bonus time and NO ANIMAL TESTING - love this :) continued >>

Doesn''t really do much for clarity or pore size. My skin did have a bit of a glow, but didn't much of difference. Rather underwhelmed.

I use this once every morning to brighten up my complexion. Though I've never noticed any long term benefits, it does make my face look smoother after I've applied it. I get compliments on my glowing skin even if I get less than 3 hours of sleep the night before. I don't wear make-up often because I break out easily, but I've never broken out because of this.

This is for turnaround concentrate visible skin renewer. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet because I love it. And, of course Clinique has discontinued it. Boo.
It has a silky feel and sinks in and calms my skin like nothing else. No fragrance or color. I've got combo skin that does get breakouts and I've never broken out from it and I've repurchased multiple times over the years. In fact, it's the one thing I will turn to when something else is breaking me out. I know it won't bother me and will get me back to normal.
It's billed as an exfoliator, but according to Paula the pH won't really allow it to do much in the way of exfoliating. I've always just used it as a boosting moisturizer over my sunscreen. Packaging is fine with a pump bottle that you can unscrew to get every last drop.
Biggest drawback is the price -- about £32 or £34 for 30 ml (there's also a 50 ml for about £47); I think it's actually cheaper per ml in the US since it's an import over here. Although it's a bargain compared to Lauder's Idealist for which it's a dead ringer. Anyway I can go through 30 ml in a month or two, so it adds up and I end up going without until I realize I just can't live without it. And now it's discontinued. Clinique has introduced the turnaround concentrate radiance renewer (which I haven't tried) which seems to be the exfoliator they were trying for the first time around. So, not a substitute. Anyway, will be trying to buy up whatever stock is left before it disappears for good.

I'm not sure why I keep going back to this product even though I haven't seen significance improvement, I think it's cuz this product doesn't break me out. I've been consistently using this product for 3 months and my dark spots have been slowly fading away. I'm not sure if it works well on brightening my complexion overall safe product for me to use everyday without break outs and harsh reactions. Definitely repurchase until I find something better. Plus I found it cheaper at my CCO.

This is an excellent product. Clinique advertises this as an exfoliating treatment. I found this to work very well, with both brightening my complexion and reducing dark spots (in fact this actually worked much better than the dark spot remover serum they sell). Makes my skin very soft, bright and overall improved. No break outs and no reactions. Definitely would buy again.

This has been quite a good product for me. I'm onto my third bottle of this and think I will continue to purchase in the future. I put it on twice daily after my Clinique 3-step and it makes my skin feel smoother and look brighter. It also makes putting foundation on afterwards a lot easier. This hasn't caused me to break out at all, but do notice that after a few months it seems to stop working as well as when I first started, so I have since been using it for a couple of months, then mix up my routine with something else for a month, and then start up again and this seems to yield the best results for me.

Let me start by saying that I have a terrible history with Clinique products making my skin worse. I probably should have remembered that before I tried this! I bought this at the beginning of the summer (probably late May) wanting to get rid of scarring and unevenness caused by breakouts during exams.
At first it didn't really seem to do anything, which is only natural because most products take a while to work. After a week of use I noticed some small acne forming, but some of the scars had only started to SLIGHTLY fade so I figured I'd tough it out. I don't know why but I thought it was helping. During the last week of June I realized that it hadn't been helping...it just made my acne worse somehow and I was a LOT more oily than before. I must have had some kind of placebo effect or something trying to convince myself that it was working. But it completely changed my skin from normal to combination/oily and just gave me more acne/scars to worry about fading!
I'm sure it works wonders for others, but this product and Clinique (I've tried the 3 step system and 7-day scrub) just aren't for me. Maybe it's just some ingredient they use. I'm giving this a 2 because it did heal some scars and it probably would give a better complexion for others, but just not me :(

this is one of those beauty products that really work. my skin always feels amazing after using this and the sensation lasts, it isn't a quick fix. my skin used to be constantly dull and this has significantly improved it's appearance and feel! i definitely recommend this product

Love this serum. It's really helps change the look of skin, soften it, and help with clogged pores as well. This is an antioxidant rich product great for all skin types.
Bad news ladies and gents! I am a Clinique BA and this is officially discontinued, if you want it I suggest you stock up. It was official in April though I'm still getting shipments. The cream and concentrate are no longer. I am told that they are making something better and it should launch next year sometime. =(

This has really saved my skin. I used the cream back when it was still available, and really enjoyed the product- it gave me clear, glowy skin. I haven't used the cream since it was discontinued and moved on to other products, but after reading the reviews, went out and bought the concentrate last week. My skin has been very bad for the last six months due to stress, lack of sleep, on-the-go poor diet, etc., and I have tried many things to get my skin to calm down and return to normal. This has helped tremendously! I've been using it for only a week and have seen significant improvement. I have noticed that my skin is almost doing a bit of "purging," but it's not too bad, considering what bad shape my skin was in before. My skin is looking a lot smoother and clearer now, with more even skin tone and more “brightness,” and the Turnaround Concentrate has made a huge difference. I will continue to use and hopefully get my skin back to how it was before! So far, so good.

It turns my skin soft like velvet and glows radiant in the morning. I think it really helped my acne and diminished the oily shine my skin produces. No added fragrance and it doesn't smell bad. The product lasts me a while considering the size of the bottle. I only use it at night because twice a day is too harsh for my skin and gives a red, itchy rash. It really helps exfoliate. I use it every other week when my skin looks a bit dull because I used it with Clinique Exfoliating scrub and now my skin feels over exfoliated. Not a good idea to over do it with exfoliators. Good product in my opinion.

MIRACLE. CREAM. It makes my face so smooth and fresh looking and the fine lines under my eyes (that always seem to accumulate make up) practically disappear with use. I also noticed that my skin is less inclined to break out when I use it.
I saw a review below saying it's going to be discontinued. If that's true, Clinique is making a huge mistake. This is the one product I keep going back to them for.

I really like this product. It makes my cystic acne scars virtually disapper and leaves my skin baby soft. The only problem with this product is that the results are only temporary. If I stop using this product for two or three days, my scars go back to being noticeable. A major downfall in this product, if you ask me. Another problem is the packaging. The design results in having difficulty using the remaining product. Other than that, I do like this product, just wish it offered a more permanent fix for my scarring.
