first, i have to say that i cant believe i've been using this for over two years and never got round to writing a review. and i cant believe that there are NO reviews at all for this awesome product.
this moisturiser is from Gatineau's Diffusance range, which is specially targed at dehydrated skins. products from this line are very hydrating. there are two versions of this moisturiser, the emulsion which comes in a 50ml tube and the cream which comes in a 50ml pot. if i am not mistaken, the cream comes with a built in SPF of 15 or something like that, while the emulsion does not.
this review is for the EMULSION version. i will write a separate review later for the cream.
this product is rather expensive, but a 50ml tube can last for a good 2 to 3 months. you dont need a lot of product to adequately hydrate your skin, and this emulsion is lightweight and absorbs into skin quickly without leaving a sticky or heavy feeling.
my skin type is combination/sensitive/dehydrated and i have found that long term use of this moisturiser (combined with some other products) has actually helped to improve skin's hydration levels.
i also currently am using retin-a and i find that on days where skin feels tight/flakey, this moisturiser used in conjunction with Gatineau's Diffusance Mask (hydration mask) really helps to relax the skin and get rid of the tight feeling
no breakouts, no clogged pores, no issues with this product whatsoever. its total HG for me! the only downside is that because it is in a tube form which is opaque, you have to cut open the tube because there is tons of product left inside which you cant get out if you just squeeze it.
