When I first this product, I loved it. It smelled amazing, felt great on my lips, and had a glossy finish (I don't really like wearing lip glosses--I prefer glossy balms). But after using it, my lips started feeling flaky and rough. I stopped using it and the problem went away. I can't figure out what's wrong! The ingredients look okay and I'm not allergic to any of them as far as I know. I guess it's just not for me.

I really like this. It smells tropical and delicious. I've been using it daily for a few months and its moisturizes my lips nicely. A few weeks ago my daughter had gotten a hold of it and ate it so I went and bought another the same day. However I found it at Rite Aid and I guess it had been sitting there for a while because it had like a grainy texture to it. Not nice. So I went to Whole Foods Market, where I bought it the first time and picked up a new one. The new one didn't have that weird texture to it. So fyi try and get it from a place where you think it would be the freshest. It makes a good alternative to Burt's Bees if the sent and waxy-ness sets you off.

This is a great natural lip balm. I love love the smell, and the texture is great. Unlike other natural lip balms, it hasn't gotten gritty or lost its shape. The balm goes on clear and it brings out my lips' natural shine. I put it on before I go to bed and wake up with soft lips. I can't wait to try the other flavors in this, but I know that I'll always go back to Pineapple Quench.
I still love the texture and scent, but I do wish it brought out my natural lipcolor a little more, like Bonne Bell Naturals (which has a really melty/gritty texture, and which is why I won't repurchase it)

I finally found a natural chapstick I like. I have extremely chapped lips and was addicted to carmex but wanted to find a natural alternative.
This smells delish and really works. The peeling some people experience is because their lips have dead skin on them. If you brush ur lips with a tooth brush and start with a smooth surface in the beginning of the day this works miracles.

Very moisturizing.

FlameKitty took the words right out of my mouth. I tried this lip balm for a bit then I went running back to Chapstick Naturals. You'd think with all those wonderful ingredients there would be no issue with peeling and chapping... guess again! Seconds after application your lips will become irritated and chapped. The smell is a bit much but I could suffer through it if this product was of better quality. The only satisfying thing about this balm is the tube it came in, save your money.

The first time I used this it made my lips more chapped. Like they were chapped in sections and could peel off easily.
It melts real easy which is kind of annoying. The twist thing (to push the product up or down) is at the top and I don't think that is a good idea since some of the lip balm can and has gotten on my fingers before...
The scent is kind of strong and it's not very pleasant either. It smells kind of like cheap chap stick.
It's nice that it's organic though or mostly organic since the label says "82% certified organic ingredients".
I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

I just bought this for like 2 dollars I think at my local Target, and my lips feel so soft! I just read those reviews about it getting more chapped as it grows older, but maybe that's just because organic chapstick probably doesn't last as ong and should've been thrown away? I wear burts bees but when I can't stand the mintiness on my lips(especially right before I go to bed, because it kind of keeps me up) I wear this stuff. I'm going to start keeping it by my bed in a drawer along with my scar cream and my regular body lotion.

This lip balm doesn't test on animals and is all natural which is why I bought it. I love pineapple so I think it smells great. When you put it on the first few times it works well but after that I felt like it made my lips chapped. I would put it on and it would feel like pieces were breaking off and staying on my lips. Kind of gross!! I wouldn't buy this again.

I bought this and Passion Fruit at Rite Aid during a BOGO. It was $3.50 for both of them, which is an average price, but I would not buy it if it weren't for that. I can't justify buying a small little lip balm for almost $4!
First off, I am only using natural products that don't test on animals. Alba Botanica is great since they don't conduct animal testing and have natural ingredients like coconut/castor/jojoba/sunflower oil. That's great.
The application is wonderful too, since it is so creamy and soft on your lips. It smells like pineapple (hence the name!), but is very artificial. The scent gives me a huge headache.
Pineapple Quench is moisturizing and my lips feel baby soft all the time when I use it. When it's on, it is shiny and slightly glossy. It sinks in pretty quickly so you don't have anything sitting on your lips and reapplication is always a dream! Except for that darned smell, of course.

I was lucky and scored this for 99 cents at a recent Bristol Farms sale, but I doubt I'd pay full price for this chapstick. While moisturizing it doesn't contain spf and the scent is fake to me. It also got increasingly gritty the more I used it. It felt like little granules of sand were embedded inside the balm, and it broke apart really easily. I very much prefer Kiss My Face's chapsticks over this one, so I wouldn't repurchase.

I am in love with this product. I live in the southwest, so dryness is a serious issue for me. This lip balm is the so great for the following reasons:
It moisturizes extremely well
It has spf 15
The twisty top is at the the top
Lasts a long time
Tastes and smells great!!!
I took one lippie off for the price. I wish it were cheaper, considering that I buy a lot of lip products. Buts it totally worth it. I can't wait to get another tube!!

I'm allergic to pretty much all chapsticks. I have eczema and it aggravates it. Even clinique lip gloss/lip treatment gave me an allergic reaction. I tried this when my lips were extremely chapped because of some allergic reaction. I love this product. I have all three flavors and apply it throughout the day. The flakiness is gone, and my lips are more moisturized than ever before. It's a little on the expensive side but it's chap stick and it lasts forever! Maybe those of you that didn't like it are allergic to pineapples.

My mom bought me this lip balm and i love it!
I use it when I don't feel like using my minty burts bees. I saw these on clearance for only .60 cents at a discount store and went crazy and bought 10! The reason why i gave it only 4 lippies is b/c im not always in the mood for the glossy effect and scent (even though it smells delish!)

Just picked this up at Walgreens on clearance... I've got a fondness for anything pineapple, as it is my favorite fruit. This is a great smelling lip balm that works great as a lip protectant. Due to the semi-waxy texture, it seals in existing moisture, so I wouldn't recommend this for super duper chapped lips as I don't think it would help much.

Pros: smells nice. Cons: expensive unless getting on sale or clearance; lasts approx 3 min on my lips; does not moisturize at all. YUK!!! I was hugely disappointed as I normally like AB products.

I don't know why this lip balm has so many bad reviews? I LOVE it!! This says a lot because I am not a chapstick, lip balm kinda girl. I hate having anything on my lips. I decided to get this, in all honesty it was because of the smell of this lip balm it smells like real pineapples its fantastic. Now, the product is beyond great for me! It is incredibly mosturizing for my lips, it leaves a nice glossy type of look on my lips. Even when the "gloss" lessens the moisture remains, and I do not find myself reapplying every 5 minutes. I will definitely re-purchase!! My lips feel smoothe and soft. Plus, its 95% organic. Only thing is..I wish it was a little cheaper but $4 isn't bad either. Love love it =)

I bought this at a local Grocery Outlet for 30 cents.
I feel bad for those who purchased at full price D:
This chapstick tastes sooo gross. The smells like pineapple.
It HARDLY lasts. I have to apply this every 30 minutes or so.

I just bought this today, based on all the positive reviews on this balm. I was searching for a daytime lip balm, that was more practical to reapply than aquaphor. At first I wasn't sure I really wanted to pay $3.50 for a lip balm, but I just had to try it. I am so glad I did!!! It's just what I've been looking for, it's a little less waxy than chapstick and has good staying power. I love that it twists at the top to advance the balm rather than the bottom. The smell reminds me of a pineapple lifesavor. It makes my lips really smooth. After trying it, I feel the price is worth it!! Will repurchase.
UPDATE: I'm have not even used 1/4 of the tube and it's grainy, which I think is gross... what a waste. Also the novelty of the smell has worn off, and I think it's a little too strong. Too bad this product started off really nice. Will not repurchase.

Love this lip balm!!! I have tried lots of lip balms. Sadly, I still buy lip balms thinking there may be something better than this, but for now this is my favorite. I had a real dry spell on my lips and couldn't figure out what was up, but this was more helpful than Burt's Bees, C.Bigelow, Vaseline, Aquaphor. Neutrogena is good too but this has great flavor. Not irritating b/c it has no menthol or peppermint. Passionfruit flavor is also just as good. The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect would be some spf protection.
