I used this product (was given samples) along with the Hydrating Wash and Mist Balancing Toner plus the make up primer for 2 days. On the 3rd day I looked in the mirror and was shocked by the state of my face and neck. My face was swollen, red and covered in small hives, my neck was all rashy and my face and neck were burning and itchy. Today is the 2nd day of this reaction and it has gotten worse. I think I will have to go to the doctor tomorrow. I have taken antihistamine and rubbed cortisone cream on twice a day but it hasn't helped. I would never buy any Arbonne products because of this. I have had this reaction twice before - once to an Avon Anew Alternative moisturiser and once to a sunblock. It's disappointing as the cream and other products did make my skin feel soft and smooth (before it became red and bumpy!).

If you have oily skin DO NOT USE! I am an Arbonne consultant and I have tried this along w/sisters, mom & friends who all say it is greasy. I have tried using the smallest amount and after an hour my face looks soooo oily & greasy! Even my husband asked me what I did to my face! I am oily in the t-zone area and this is not the moisturizer for me. I have sold it to women who have loved it but it is not right for my skin type. continued >>

I love this product. I use it alone, without the other Arbonne products suggested to go under it. I've left it twice to try other products, and always come back to it. I have fair skin and it gives my entire fact a golden glow, almost as if I'm using a great self-tanner. Warning-don't use too much as it can be greasy. I don't need to wear foundation, even in the winter, when I use this.

It doesn't matter if I use a little or use a lot, this product does not absorb into my skin. I'm left with a greasy, sticky face, with very obvious pores. The UV protection is poor. I used this product for a while.. I know how this stuff goes. You start out in a honeymoon period where everything looks good, and then it all goes south. Of course I really became dissatisfied with this product (and the whole RE9 line, for that matter) *after* the 45 day trial period that the company offers. I complained to the company about their product and I was blown off. Way to stand behind your product. My skin has never been so bad. Thanks for nothing, Arbonne!! The only thing they have to recommend this product is the pretty packaging. Don't fall for it like I did.

My skin type: SUPER sensitive and dry, mild rosacea, weird acne (I get HUGE pimples, on my forehead and in odd places, like on my cheek bone, but I only get one at a time, they take forever to come out, are huge and painful, and take forever to go away, when they do they scar...the whole cycle lasts for like a month and a half). The acne was non responsive to traditional meds like B.P. and salycillic, on my forehead pimples would lasts for months. I finally began seeing a derm a year ago and the medication from my derm is helping somewhat. And I followed her advice, less ingredients is better for those like me, less to irritate and aggrivate my skin. I began using Neutrogena Gentle face wash and Cetaphil moisturizer. BUT, I wasn’t happy, my skin was dull, uneven, and still got red from even these products. I began researching skin types and ingredients on Paula B’s website and began feeling like I really needed to be using products with anti oxidants, …….read her article on state of the art moisturizers. I began exploring other options for daytime moisturizers and cleansers.
My friend began using Arbonne Nutrimin a while ago and loves it, so I figured….why not. I got samples on Ebay, an affordable alternative and gave it a whirl. I have only used a few of the products because I have to introduce things one at a time because of my skin sensitivity. (I’m reviewing the other products sep. and under the whole line listing).
I have been using the Arbonne Nutrimin Day Cream for about 2 and a half weeks, and I love it! I know some have commented on product greasiness…I don’t see it. Maybe when first applied it is a bit, but it sinks right in to my skin, leaving behind nothing but a lovely glow, no greasiness or oiliness. Also, it does not irritate my super sensitive skin and has caused no issues with the Rosacea. I have seen an improved clarity and overall appearance in my skin using this combined with the cleanser, it has been like a miracle for my face thus far. At this point I’m not sure if it is the cleanser, the moisturizer or a combination, but something is working here, so much so I was able to go from a full coverage foundation to a sheer to medium coverage. My pimples started shrinking immediately, and the rest of my face is left smooth and soft. My acne scars are even fading. I have not noticed a change in wrinkles or lines yet….but it’s only been a few weeks. I’ll upate if and when I do. I gave a lot of background on my skin issues because I really want to get across the change I’m experiencing with this product. The downfall, it is SO expensive….WHY does it have to cost so much? It is worth it in one sense, because I have seen such an improvement in my skin…….I’ve searched forever trying so many products and of course the one that works is $50 a bottle?! On Ebay it’s cheaper, but still breaks the bank. Is there something comparable? Let me know if there is, I’m going to go broke otherwise because I am buying the full size when my samples are gone!
EDIT: I have a theory as to why people may be experiencing a greasiness with this lotion. This week I introduced the Day/Night Serum into my routine, and while it sinks in to my skin immediately, leaving behind a soft matte finish to my skin, it completely changed the way the moisturizer acted on my skin. I noticed it the first day, as soon as I put the moisturizer on....it was greasy and heavy feeling all of a sudden, and my foundation looked shinier than usual. I kept on for a few days....today I didn't use the serum, just the moisturizer and no issues with greasiness.....so the serum could be the culprit, though I must admit I have no idea why it would affect it n such an adverse way, but it did on me.

Overall, I really love this product. It smells so fresh and citrusy. It feels really good going on and it only takes the smallest amount (use too much and skin will be greasy 1/2-1 pump is all it takes for the whole face/neck). The product is packaged to keep very sanitary and spill proof.
The biggest drawback is that only has spf 8 and I wish was higher. I rely on my make-up to provide the additional spf in the winter and have to rely on a seperate sunscreen lotion for the summer so I don't like the redundancy of it.
Will likely purchase this product again though.

To me this day cream was useless. It made my skin very oily. I think it is a waste of $

This was the grossest face lotion I've ever tried. The SPF in my makeup is higher than what is in this so I found it completely pointless. It makes you so shiny and oily, greasy it is disgusting. It literally is like putting on the thick sunscreen I use on my baby but on your face and without the benefits.

I've sampled this item for about a week, and I don't like it. It feels sticky, like it's clogging my pores, but it doesn't hydrate my dry skin at all. Plus, it only has an SPF 8, and it's not even a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

This product is wonderful. I've been using it for a couple of months, every day. I can tell a difference in the way my skin feels and looks. I think the whole set is great.

I am totally in love with this entire line of anti-aging all natural skin care! I've been using it on my acne prone, somewhat sensitive skin for about a month and a half now and have seen great results. Until now, I thought the focus on my 30 year old skin should be my acne. So, I tried many expensive products including Proavtiv, Jan Marini, and Clinique. As my wrinkles are becomming more evident, I've thought "I wish I could find something that is anti-aging, yet will help with my acne and scarring as well". Well, so far, my acne scars are fading, and I've had only two fairly big zits when I normally have at least 5 at any given time. Plus, these two zits were gone in about three days! My mom, the people I work with, and my neighbor have all commented on how great my skin looks and have asked what I have been using.
As for my wrinkles, the ones around my eyes and tops of my cheeks have noticibly smoothed out. My Mom got the RE9 set and you sould see her skin! It is not only more even, but she used to get little pimple-like bumps on her cheeks for as long as I've known her, and within one week, they were gone!
Love the smell! Pretty expensive, but it will last a long time and the results are worth it! I love that these products are all natural. It makes me feel good to be putting something safe on my skin.

Arbonne's Nutrimin Re9 is not the best for oily skin types. But I found that the people who complain about the shinyness of the cream have simply been using too much! Two teeny pea sized pumps of moisturizer should be enough to cover the whole face. The pump makes the cream last a really long time, and keeps the germs out of the jar. As for the SPF 8, I personally think it's enough, since I usually sit in front of a computer or on a plane for a living. For days on our boat I put on SPF 30, of course. I like the Arbonne products so much that I became a rep, but honestly, just for the discounts. I won't be in a Mercedes any time soon. If you would like to take a look at Arbonne products check out my website: http://harriet.myarbonne.com and I promise I won't bug you to join.

This was the biggest disappointment in the RE-9 line. SPF 8? Why even bother? AND there are no UVA blocking ingredients, if I use this I have to use another sunscreen over the top of it.

Not only is the SPF factor below the recommended limit of 15, but there is no UVA protection. As a moisturizer this might be adequate, but as a sunscreen it just does not work.

Why such a low SPF????? I will continue to use sunblock as a moisturizer for optimal skin protection. SPF 8....you need AT LEAST SPF 15.....but I would reccomment a minimum of 30. The best thing you can do is PREVENT wrinkles!!

I really like Arbonne's NutriMinC RE9 SPF 8 Day Creme. It has a very pleasant scent and blends and absorbs easily. The pump ensures no contamination of the remaining product as well as no wasting (can't accidentally take too much -- things that can happen with a jar). The only thing that I wish was different about this product is that the SPF was higher (like at least 15). By nature, I'm pretty much a minimalist with beauty stuff, so on the days that I don't want to wear makeup, I need to apply something with a higher SPF (I usually use Arbonne's Save Face and Body Suncreeen SPF 15). On the days that I do wear makeup, I use Arbonne's NutriMinC RE9 SPF 8 Day Creme followed by Bare Escentuals loose powder foundation that gives me a SPF of 15 - 20, depending upon which shade(s) I am using.

Horrible stuff! My face exploded into red weltish marks within an hour of using this. I wore this for 4 hours and I started breaking out by the end of that time. It took me about a week to get my face back to normal. Also the shine factor is horrendous. Even using a little bit my face looked like I rubbed butter all over it. I would have worn foundation over it but StudioFix sucks up any moisturizer I wear under it and makes my face look oily. Anyway I can't wear this and won't use again.

Wow...what a disappointment. Heavy slime factor here. For my combo skin, I had to use so little of it for it not to feel heavy and greasy that I figure the already paltry SPF of eight was virtually worthless. And at 45 dollars for a mere ounce and a half, I'll pass.

I am reviewing (over the next 24 hours) several Arbonne items including the entire Re9 Anti Aging Line. Please see my review of the Re9 Line, it will explain my skin type so I don't have to repeat it, it's very thorough. At first I thought I did not care for this product and did not really use it. I told my sister that I didn't care for it and she said she felt the same at first until she realized she was using too much. All of Arbonnes items (that I've experience) are very concentrated and go a long way.At first this seems greasy and not as light as I'd like for a day cream. But the more I used it the more I liked it.It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin (as long as I avoid my eyes a bit) and it sure does moisturize. It's nice under makeup but leaves me a little shiny without makeup, so I wear powder if I'm heading out and don't want to bother with foundation.I think it should have an SPF of at least 15, maybe it will eventually. It doesn't really have a fragrance and I like the sanitary pump dispenser. You can see how much is left by unscrewing the gold band near the top of the dispenser. They must use opaque packaging to product the stability of the products since they aren't loaded with preservatives. continued >>
