Drying! Not good. Made my eyes appear crepey, when they weren't before. Much prefer DHC eye cream. This is going in the recycle bin.

/Sigh .. i'm really starting to get tired of searching for a good eye cream .. and worse is i start to believe that a minimum (basic) moisturizer for the eye area is the best we can do, there is no magic as softening the fine lines , high-tech jobs for the eye area although i'm a firm believer in science of cosmetics..
Have been using this along with the Elizabeth Arden millenium eye care(for night) for about two months , not only i haven't seen any improvements ,but also my under eye area , for some reason got terribly irritated in the last week .I am not going to blame this gel for that , since i was already using this for more then a month when it started but it looks and feels quite painful right now , with dry red blotches that burn when i put the eye gel on make up cleaner on . I am still trying to find out what might have caused that but it's hard when you love experimenting with cosmetics like me , i also have had lots of samples within the last few weeks and have been trying on tons of different stuff .Nevertheless this gel didn't 'help' the irritations at all , even tho it hasn't caused them .
The one positive thing i can think of is that i found this at a discount store so didn't pay the full price ..
I probably don't like eye gels either, just don't feel hydrated enough ..

So I was on the lookout for a new eye cream (the one I was using was actually creating additional fine lines! oh no!). And since my skin loves the bliss sleeping peel serum and gel, I decided to give this one a shot. I'm glad I did! Fine lines are diminishing, dark circles are lightening up, and the whole general eye area is smoother. Love it!

I'm 20 and have been using eye cream for a few years, mostly as a preventative measure. This gel contains hyaluronic acid so it's very moisturizing and I found it absorbed easily and left my eye area hydrated all day. I'm not sure how well it helps with existing lines, but for my purposes it's one of the better treatments I've used. The company says it also has an ingredient called Bioxilift which sounds similar to GABA, and supposedly helps to relax facial muscles that contribute to wrinkles.

I am once again searching for a good eye cream as this was a big disappointment. I was really expecting good results but it did nothing for my fine lines and I found it to be too irritating. I think it might of even made my under-eye lines more pronounced! Will not buy again. I used it only at nights and would often wake up with dryness under my eyes. Not at all hydrating. I still have some left so I will try to add extra moisturizer as others recommended.

I LOVE this product. I have had no luck with other Bliss products (they irritate my skin to no end), but the eye gel is great. It works well as a base under eye concealer during the day, and I also use it at night. Another poster commented on putting Lancome eye cream over the gel at night. I've taken a similar approach - I put on the eye gel, let it absorb while I brush/floss my teeth, and then I put (gasp) vaseline over it to lock it in. I've had AWESOME results - definite reduction in the appearance of fine lines. As mentioned, I'm not a fan of Bliss, but love them for making this one.

Did not really get any results, but it was better than not using anything at all. I used it every evening for about 2 months. It helped with softening the eye area a bit but did nothing for fine lines or puffiness or circles. I would not buy again.

I bought this along with the Sleeping Peel serum, after falling for the hype in the Bliss catalog. I recently finished the tub, and would not buy it again. If I ever put the product past my pupil line, in towards my nose, it made my eyes burn like hell. Seriously, eyes tearing, spasmodically closing pain. I did find that it hydrated the crows feet area on the outside of my eyes well, but I always had to use it with some other product on that inner area under my eyes. I finished it just because I couldn't in good faith pass it along to anyone else. Anyway, I am now using the RoC retinol eye cream with another one over it (since the retinol cream is not very moisturizing), and even though I still am using 2 creams, my eyes are not tearing or burning, and I am getting comparable results.

Another disappointing skincare item from Bliss, at least for me. I used this daily for 2.5 months and saw no improvement in the fine lines under my eyes. It didn't irritate my skin but it didn't produce any good results either. The search for an eye treatment that actually does something continues.

I got this as part of the starter kit, which I decided to try since I love the cleansing cream. It didn't do anything for my eye area, however, and it wasn't very hydrating. I decided to take the kit back and just buy the cleansing cream instead.

Awesome stuff!!! I use the Sleeping Peel Eye Gel each night (followed by Lancome Progres Eye cream to lock in moisture), along with the Sleeping Peel Serum for my face. I love the results! I wash and tone my face, then I apply the Sleeping Peel Serum to my face (avoiding eye area), then the Sleeping Peel Eye Gel to my entire eye area, I wait 3 or 4 minutes to let it soak in, then I apply my Lancome Progres eye cream (to lock in moisture as my eye area is dry - although I believe any thick night eye cream would work just as well). The results are fantastic! The fine lines under my eyes are diminishing, the skin around my eyes is firming up, and the crepey texture that used to be under my eyes is going away and turning into smooth, firm, silky skin! I feel like I turned back the clock on my skin! I am so siked about this stuff! (do people still say siked? Oh well, I do!) And I am! The Sleeping Peel Face Serum is doing wonders for my facial skin as well! I do NOT use the Sleeping Peel Cleanser (too mild for my oily skin and does not clean thoroughly enough) or the Sleeping Peel Gel Toner (thick toner that does nothing for my oily skin except add additional moisture and *possibly* clog my pores). So I use JUST the 2 products - Sleeping Peel Serum and Sleeping Peel Eye Gel ..... and I *LOVE* the results!!! Drugstore.com has the 4-piece Sleeping Peel Starter Set with all 4 products for you to try .... I recommend trying that first as your skin may be different than mine and the Sleeping Peel Cleanser and Gel Toner may actually work well for you. I think the Serum and Eye Gel are just incredible though! Awesome products! Absolutely 5 lippies! 10 lippies if I could!!! :)

This eye gel should not be called an eye gel. It burns my eyes so badly and I don't even put it near my eye area only below. My eyes turn bright red and starting burning immediately. So much so that I have to wipe it off. I have fair combination slightly sensitive skin. I don't know how well it works, only that it wasn't on long enough for me to find out!

I received this item as part of the Sleeping Peel 4 Star Starter Pack from Beauty.com and I love it! I am 37 with minimal crows feet around the orbital area. This product has softened up that area as well as underneath my eyes in a very short time. I use this in conjunction with the other Sleeping Peel items in the starter set including the Sleeping Peel Cleanser, Sleeping Peel Resurfacing Gel and Sleeping Peel Serum. My skin clarity, tone and smoothness has never been better.
I do like the Bobby Brown Hydrating eye cream as well, but this gel-like cream is working better around my eyes overall (without the burn). I have oily and break-out prone skin, and have experienced no breakouts with this item. I highly recommend!

This product definately has a tightening, smoothing effect when applied. It seems to be making a very slight improvement in the fine lines around my eyes. So generally speaking it seems to be performing well. My only complaint is that it is not as moisturizing as I would like. At night I have to wait for this to dry a few minutes, then put a heavier eye balm over it to get the moisturizing I need.
However if you're just looking for a lightweight, non-greasy eye gel than this is at the top of the list.

I love the sleeping peel line so much. I especially love this eye gel because it is moisturizing. Since I'm only 20, I use this more as a prevention than to minimize fine lines so I can't comment on that, but I can say that it helps tremendously with the dark circles under the eyes and bags. My eyes are prone to get puffy and this helps with it. After a whole day of crying my eyes out after a fight with my boyfriend, I put this on at night and whereas my eyes should have been so puffy I couldn't open them, my eyes were just fine and normal the day after. that's how i knew this stuff really works! I love how the gel just sinks right into the skin so I can use this eye gel during the daytime and nighttime. that's what i call 24 hour prevention!

So far, so good. I am liking this stuff, so much so I have purchased the rest of the line (I know, I know...I'm so fickle!). Blissworld.com says this item is unscented. I disagree. It has a very faint scent of vanilla almond. It's very pleasant. I am almost 31 and starting to get crow's feet *scoffs*! I've been using this gel for about 2 weeks now and it seems to be doing well. It's very moisturizing yet is sinks in in just a minute or two. I will be back with an update in a month or two when I get a better idea of how well this product is working for me. From here on in I will be using it with the rest of the Sleeping Peel line, I can only imagine that will accelerate the results. Let's hope! UPDATE: 12/5/05...This stuff works great. The damage on the orbital bone skin under my eyes is significantly less noticeable. A definite
repurchase!
