OMG ! Gretchen Rossi from the Real housewives of Orange County uses this everyday ! Its on the episodes, her website, and twitter. I can see why. I finally bought it and I get to so many compliments. Everyone says I smell like the best vanilla or like a barbie doll(In a good way). I have tried other vanilla's and nothing compares. Another good vanilla lotion is from c booth (Vanilla Butter) It tones and helps with KP. This will be my staple for ever ! I keep bottles and sprays everywhere !
Love this stuff !
I must have been a vanilla orchid in my past life because I am really loving all things vanilla of late! VS’ Vanilla Lace lotion is great for me. They recently reformulated the scent: its notes are a duo of vanilla and musk. Before, VL was vanilla, orchid, musk, and amber, a version which I never smelled. This current incarnation, however, smells just like fresh, warm vanilla extract, the kind you add to cake or milk. After a while, it resembles marshmallows, and I of course then want to nibble on my hand or arm. Staying power is impressive for a lotion—several hours and probably longer if I were to layer with shower gel and fragrance mist. Moisturization is adequate, but I buy this for the gourmand scent. It is a great base for my perfume, especially Burberry Brit, VS Heavenly, and, interestingly enough, D&G Light Blue. My sole complaint--and it is hardly fatal--is that I like pump packaging, and the lotion comes in a squeeze tube. Recycling a pump from another vanilla-based VS lotion totally fixes this problem though.
Look out for sales; LV can easily be had for $5 per bottle or less. Definitely one of two HGs in the category of vanilla lotion. This stuff rocks! And men are friendly around you! continued >>
My fav VS body lotion till date.. Never thought I will like this the most over the rest of the fruity/flowery scent from VS.. Smells so yummy and the consistency of the lotion is perfect... For someone who is not very loyal to a particular scent, I am definitely going to repurchase this over and over again.. 2 thumbs up!

This is one of my favorite body lotions of ALL time. It doesn't get sexier than vanilla, just ask any man! This lotion is silky and has the perfect consistency. It smells unreal! Soft, creamy, warm, and the hint of musk makes it sophisticated and gives it an almost carnal quality. My skin feels fantastic after I use this. It feels very touchable. I really can't get enough of this. Thank goodness it's a staple in the VS line. I will be using this for life.
I love Amber Romance body lotion but wanted to try something different so on my last order of 5 for $30 I threw in a couple of these babies. So glad I did. I love musky scents and this one doesn't disappoint. Just the right combo of sweet and sensual ;) to drive my husband crazy.
My mom gave this to me as a gift but I dont care for the fragrance I just dont like vanilla fragrances that well. This turns funky on me yuck Ok lotion though.

**UPDATE** I friggen love this stuff. I have bottles of it everywhere. TO make it last longer I like to mix it with Eucerin unscented creme. I'll never get sick of this!
I love this scent! Other's have mentioned a plastic-y doll essense to it - I totally get that, but I ADORE that smell. I know, it's odd. But I really like it - it reminds me of those plastic, scented cupcake dolls that they used to make with the upside down skirt that flipped out so it looked like they hid inside of a cupcake? Anyone know what I mean? It also smells like My Little Ponies dolls. LOL. But don't get me wrong, it's verey strongly vanilla. I love the smell of this and the lotion (either of them) have GREAT staying power, much more so than the body spray. I don't find them particularly long lasting-ly moisturizing, but they aren't greasy either. This doesn't really give me a sheen at all, which was disappointing, but oh well! The scent is perfect, and men really seem to love it...

I love vanillas as long as they don't smell cheap or plasticky. After reading all the wonderful reviews, I went straight to VS to purchase it. I took a whiff of the sample and at first I thought, "Oh, what a nice, creamy vanilla." Then at the last minute of my inhale, the deliciousness turned to plastic. You know that gross smell that plastic baby dolls sometimes have? That is what this smells like. I gave it a second chance, and it just smelled cheap. I couldn't get the plastic smell out of my nose for hours, and I hadn't even applied it! Definitely wouldn't purchase this.
This is such a true vanilla scent. You know that little bottle of vanilla you keep in your cupboard for when you bake? This smells just like it. Just. Like. It. VS lotions tend to smell better than their matching sprays, I don't know why. But they're the only lotions I can put on right after shaving that won't irritate my skin or burn it. Some people say the Vanilla Lace spray gets a chemical smell to it and I have to kind of agree.
Although it smells great I can see where those people are coming from. The lotion, however does not have that effect at all and lasts twice as long as the sprays. I'm kind of sick of all the new VS scents they have out now, they're all a little sickening and have that shampoo smell. But Vanilla Lace is great for all ages and *BY THE WAY* they are not discontinuing it! I asked an employee and she said no, it's not being discontinued, they just put less of it out. Not sure why.
