I loved the buttercream frosting fragrance at first, but then came the dreaded chemical plastic scent. Meadowfoam seed oil is extremely moisturizing, so the product leaves a protective film on your hands. The cute 2 oz. tube is a nice handbag size and the cream itself is a sweet girly pink. I ended up mixing this with another lotion to finish it up, so definitely not a repurchase.

Unbelievably yummy smell, but it left my hands very greasy. Did not aborb fully.

I like the size of this lotion a lot, good for stowing in my purse. I do take issue with the product though.
Pros: Really sugary buttercream frosting scent, a lot like the real thing! Feels silky on and gets absorbed moderately quickly
Cons: Scent gets acrid and overwhelming after a while- takes on that plasticy smell. Not very moisturizing at all, just has a nice texture.
I won't repurchase but it is a cute and fun product to have around.

This stuff smells soooo good I want to eat it! I like that it absorbs fast and leaves no sticky icky residue. It also contains vitamins A &E (whatever that means). However, with that said, this is NOT a heavy duty moisturizer, so I don't really use it much in the winter, but it is perfect for the summer. I like how it leaves me skin lightly scented with the decadent pink buttercream frosting scent. continued >>

I am obsessed with buttercream scents, and this is one of the best. I bought this initially because Sephora was out of Vanilla Cupcake Body Butter (which I absolutely love as well) and I am so glad I did. It smells light and sweet and has vitamin A and E so it moisturizes my hands fantastically. I will keep buying this as well as Sephora's brand.

I have to admit I loved this stuff! The smell is unbeliveable, just like cake frosting. My only problems was it was a bit pricey for such a tiny bottle. But T.J Maxx has been selling this line recently for much, much less than it usually is. Overall this is a fantastic product worthy of your time!

I have and I will purchase this product again and again! Not only is the scent delicious, but this is truly a good hand cream. Moisturizes like crazy and keeps those hang nails in check. Use before bed and the hands feel terrific (plus the pillow smells good - yay!).
I've had issues with one of the tubes I purchased. The lid wouldn't close properly. But, other than that - no issues.

Does a nice job of moisturizing without leaving my hands a greasy mess, but it's the scent I have an issue with. It starts out smelling like absolute Heaven, just exactly like buttercream frosting (I almost want to taste it!), but...after a few seconds, that luscious, wonderful smell turns very chemical, almost like burning plastic. If only the scent stayed true, this would be my HG hand cream!

I'm a big fan of the original Buttercream body butter, and after spying a purse-sized tube of this at Ulta, I couldn't resist trying this. It smells decadent - like ooey gooey frosting melting on a warm cupcake! It makes my hands soft and in the harsh Cleveland winters, that is no small feat. I apply this and it instantly puts me in a good mood. This stuff is like a hug in a tube! Love it.

I love this hand cream. It smells incredible and is very thick and moisturizing. It leaves my hands very soft. The only downside is the price- a little steep @ $8 for a small tube

Meh. This was a disappointment, because I loved the Pink Buttercream body butter. I'm always on a mission to find awesome hand creams, and because I love the buttercream scent, I *had* to have this.

The cream is creamy enough and is an OK moisturizer, but my Neutrogena or B&BW hand lotions/creams already do a better job for less moolah. The one and only reason to buy this is the buttercream scent--let's not kid ourselves. I agree with the reviewers who've mentioned that this smells different at different times. Sometimes when I apply it I get that mouth-watering cake scent, but at other times, I get a plastic-y fake cake scent. Not sure whether it's my skin chemistry or what, but it's definitely a disappointment.

No issues with the packaging and the pink colored cream is cute enough, but I'm going to have to pass on this one. continued >>

So great for people who live in the cold weather! The fragrance is great... not too strong, but enough so that you can still smell it!

i like the smell i get from it, i only wished it lasted longer like pink potion. it moisturizes very well, i love jaqua hand cremes! the packaging is very girly and cute, although the price is kind of too much for a lotion, ill continue to buy because i absolutely love it!

This smells just like real frosting. But the scent fades once you put it on your skin. I would like to keep on reapplying but I would run out very quickly since this tiny tube is already $8 (USD) at Bath and Body Works. That's way too expensive. I don't know if the body cream in the plastic tub will have a longer lasting scent. I think it absorbs quickly and moisturizes pretty well, but it's not really worth it. Regular drugstore lotions work better than this. I want to try the body spray next.

If this was not so ridiculously priced, I would have given it a higher score. I think the Jaqua line is incredibly expensive for the amount of product you pay for, but oh my gosh, is the product great. I use this every night before bed, and in the winter on not only my hands, but elbows as well. My mom, a kindergarten teacher, is now also addicted to the hand creme, and keeps a tube of it on her desk in her classroom. Her kiddies know that if they get 5 bear-hugs for good work and good behavior during the week, one of the rewards they can choose is a dollop of frosting hand creme - and she runs through a tube in no time!

My HG hand cream. I love the scent, whenever I apply it everyone looks around to try & find the 'cake'. It's nice, and I always get complimented on how soft my hands are. continued >>

Although I love Jaqua Girls products, I found this to be lacking. The initial aroma is good but it quickly disappears. The product is expensive and not especially moisturizing. I could have found something more appealing at half the price or less. Update: I really don't like this cream at all. It smells of chemicals, plastic-y and (my DH says) with overtones of gasoline. Ugh! Definitely not JG's usual standard.
