Okay first of all I am a lipstick snob! I rarely purchase lipstick because I am always disappointed and when I do purchase it, I usually end up returning it or keeping it to rarely ever apply it. So when I found this "lipstick" in this color, I couldn't believe I found it at Kohls! The best way to describe this lip product is that it applies like a lipstick, and the embrace is closer to a lipstick because it is hardly sheer, and lives out its life on your lips as a tint. So if you love the glossy look, this won't be your thing, although sometimes I like to wear it with some rosebud salve on top. I love that Embrace isn't too sheer, because that means it has more staying power on my lips. It is finally my MLBB lip product and it doesn't wash my light, cool complexion out like most "nude" lip shades...and I'm telling you, I try all the popular ones only to be highly disappointed. When I found Embrace the other day, it was the only one left. So I'm off to order more for backups!!

This is a really good shade for my fair, cool complexion. I agree it has more pigment that other shades - a plummy mauve with a hint of brown to keep it from looking too pink. It could be more moisturizing, but has decent staying power even when the shine wears off. No offensive smell. A good, less-expensive substitute for my Bobbi Brown lipshine in Mauve. Will definitely re-purchase!

*Almost* perfect for me. I wanted it a little more sheer...this one is pretty pigmented and if you try to apply it sheer it gets streaky. The color is a muted raspberry color. I like it and use it, but will not repurchase. I like to blot it down to a stain since it is a little too "lipstick-y" for me. =)

This lipstick/lipsheer is *almost* fabulous! It is a longer than normal, skinny tube with a cap that snaps securely into place. The lipstick is narrower than the traditional lipstick, which I think makes it easier to apply.

It goes on shiny, with just enough color to look like lipstick, but the shine is like a gloss! Perfect! Well, almost... my only complaint is the staying power. The shine fades pretty quickly so to keep it looking great you need to reapply pretty often.

Embrace is a pinky mauve shade that is a great my-lips-but-better shade. It really wakes up my face without looking too obvious. I have fair skin with pink undertones - I wear the lightest Mac shade, if that helps - and I have green eyes and brown hair. Most of the other colors in the line are lighter and more sheer than Embrace. It has a slight lipstick-y smell, but that doesn't really bother me.
