Oh, Dazzlelight.. my first ever MAC eyeshadow, way back from my sophomore year of high school.
Its a pretty, pearly white color and i finally hit pan on it a few weeks ago but honestly...i wont be repurchasing. Dont get me wrong, its a great color for highlighting, blending, and inner v. The only reason i wouldnt repurchase is because i recently discovered and fell in love with Nylon, which i like bettter because of it's frosty finish and brighter color pay-off (:

Dazzlelight is one of my favourite eyeshadows. It can be used to open up the eyes, especially in the inner corners; as a wash of colour to the lid; brow highlight or as a cheekbone highlight too! It is very versatile. It is a veluxe pearl, so it is quite pearly and shimmery and quite pigmented. The colour is a pearly, white/cream, iridescent colour. I wear this every day, and couldn't do my eye m/u without it!

I really love this eyeshadow! It has become a HG in my makeup bag! I am NC30/35 with dark hair and brown eyes. I am not the greatest at describing colors but I would agree it is an off white, ivory color with shimmer. I love that its a veluxe pearl and it blends super easily! I love to use it obviously as a brow highlight, but my favorite way is when I am rushing in the morning or having a lazy day and don't feel like looking "made up." I prime my eyes with mac CCB in "Pearl" or "Painterly" paint pot and just swipe this on my lid, inner corners and browbone, and add mascara and im good to go! Very natural look and really brightens and opens your eyes. And let me tell you guys, I am picky about leaving the house without makeup and not looking ok but this leaves me no worries. It's such a beautiful color. I also use dazzlelight as a all over highlight, over my cream color base in "Pearl." I just dab a little CCB over my cheekbones, nose and cupids bow and apply Dazzlelight over it with my fingers or the 224 brush and it gives me the kim k/jlo glow. Doing this, it lasts all day, or night in my case lol. This eyeshadow is soo versatile and honestly, might be my fave! Goes great with purple, gold, and brown looks. I have worn it on many occasions with "Parfait Amour," "Li Lilly," "Warming Trend" or my favorite combo is with "Woodwinked," "Espresso," and "Carbon."I highly recommend, and have also used this on my mum, as a lid color with "Mulch" in the crease, who is NW20 and it looked gorgeous!!

Dazzlelight is one of those unassuming, underrated colors that I would never have picked up had it not been for all the raves I heard for it. It's so versatile for me! I can use it as a lid color, browbone/tearduct highlight, or even a cheekbone highlight. On my fair, yellow-toned skin, this shows up as a very pale pink with golden shimmer. The shimmer is not over the top, which I like, and it goes with just about every look. I actually like it the best with matte purples like Fig.1 and Graphology, but it really is neutral enough to wear with whatever. I don't always reach for it, but whenever I do, I wonder why I don't use it more.

I am NC20 and up to now I have used as highlighters Shroom, Naked lunch and Dazzlelight and this last one IMO is the best of these three for my skin tone. It is visible! The other two seem to be the same colour as my skin! Pigmentation seems fine, a good but not awesome highlighter. I can't wait to check out Phloof!, Vanilla pigment and Ricepaper.

Dazzlelight is a fantastic eyeshadow - it is a sheer, pale pink with a faint shimmery golden undertone. If you apply it a bit heavier, it looks like a light peachy bronze. It can definitely appear to have slightly different coloring depending on how much you layer it.
I have deep-set brown eyes, and my absolute favorite go-to eye look is a medium weight application of Dazzlelight on my lids, combined with Gleam on the browbone and inner corners for highlighting, and Texture in the crease for definition. This combination looks fantastic with dark eyes and hair.

This eyeshadow is verrrry light (almost white) and the MAC artist contrasted this with "bronze" when I asked for a very natural everyday look - not great unless you like the whole bright white highlight, dark brown crease thing.

A great and natural shade for highlighting my eyes, nose bridge and cheeks. With a large fluffy brush, blending of the powder on facial features is a breeze.
Though some users feel that the product when used is quite 'invisible', but for my skin tone, it's quite obvious and helps me to achieve a natural glow to my face.
I use it on face as a highlighter and do not experience any breakouts! One stone kills two birds- eyeshadow cum face highlighter!

I really wanted to love this eyeshadow, the descriptions seemed to perfectly describe what I was looking for, but sadly I ended up swapping it :( It comes with not much color pay off when you apply it, then the glitter and so fondly spoken of perfect color for your inner corners/highlight just dissapear! Not long lasting at all :( I tried it as an all over lid color and it still dissapeared, no creasing, but it just left. Added nothing to my inner corners/highlight but super light powder, not brightening at all. I wish I could say I loved this and it was now my HG but sadly I'm back on the hunt. :(
Hope this helped!

This is like a veeery light ivory with pink sheens. I think I will be going back to Nylon eyeshadow, because the two looked like yellow-twinged highlights, but unfortunately I chose this over Nylon this time around. :(
That being said, I still love this with warmer eye looks such as olives, warm warm browns. My other highlights are a bit too cool or pinky to do with those eye colors.
I do enjoy this but I don't believe I'll ever repurchase this as there are other highlight shades I reach for much more.

It's a sorta shimmery ivory with a slight hint of hidden pink. I mean, it's pretty, it is. It's a great highlight color. It blends well, is pigmented, and all of that jazz, but...when it really comes down to it, I personally don't want to spend that much money on a color I'm just going to use as a highlight, or base. There are plenty of fabulous semi-dupes that work just as well and are just as pretty at a FRACTION of the price. Not naming any names, *cough* *Wet 'N' Wild* *cough.* I'm into function and beauty of the product over paying ridiculous amounts for name brands. So yeah, I guess I should just give this a rating based on it's quality, which is great, but I'm just saying that's it's easily duped and not one of those "earth-shattering" colors.

I purchased Dazzlelight due to a recommendation of a MAC MUA. It looked like a regular highlight color but when I got home and put on my makeup under better lighting, I noticed a bit of a pink sheen. With that, I wasn't turned off by the color but made it a note to go light when applying it and layering as I pleased. I like the color and will repurchase but looking to get another highlight color as well.

LOVE this shadow. I ordered it online, not a MAC around me, and when I got it in I thought yuck. I thought it would just be a nice shimmery white but it is an odd color, kind of shines purple/pink when you turn it a certain way on your hand. I really hated it when I swatched it and in pan but when I used it I loved it. I think it looks awesome with MAC Bronze on the lid and crease and Dazzlelight in the inner 1/3 and brow bone, it just really brings out the bronze shade. I think it works great with browns/taupes/bronzes which is all I wear. I dont think I'd wear it alone but I love it as a highlight, will definately rebuy.

I have officially bought my second one.. I used up the first. I LOVE THIS, it's my perfect highlight NC15 skin.. works soooo well, perfect shimmers/pearl sheen and not actual sparkles which doesn't work at all. Great in tear duct over cheekbones under brow anywhere to highlight!! The veluxe pearl formula is soooo good for soft almost creamy eye shadows that glide so well... it is just perfect for me! :) I definitely recommend it, it's not stark white but still good on fair skin! RAVE review!

I use Vanilla on my brow bone almost every day and I wanted to switch it up and have something a little more shimmery - this is PERFECT! Its a little more yellow toned and has a lot more shimmer but its very similar. I haven't tried this as an all over lid colour but I'm very happy with this as a highlight because I've been using this a lot! I will definitely repurchase when I run out

Dazzlelight and Shroom are my favorite shimmery highlight colors! I love the soft pink sheen it gives which goes very well with any kind of pink, purple or brown eye make up. It has a smooth texture and applies without any problems.

I didnt think I would like this one, but I really did. It is a nice shade for all over the lid. (NW 20 for reference). I like the way this product brightens up my eyes and makes my look more awake. The only reason I took off a mark, was because sometimes the colour can come off a bit white and doesnt go really well with darker eyeshadows or eyeliners.

I'm disappointed in this one. I'm pretty fair and had high hopes that this would work out to be a good highlighter shade for me but alas...it's just too light and frosty on me. To my eye this is a slightly more golden/warm toned version of Phloof, a frosty off white with a pinky sheen. And I have the exact same issues with it as I did with Phloof- it's way too pale for me and looks VERY stark next to my skin.
On the plus side texture is great (like most Veluxe Pearls from MAC) and it lasts well. YMMV with this one mes amies.

I got this wanting it as a highlight. I just haven't been super impressed with the color pay off. I don't know if I'm just too pale for it to show up, but I feel like I need something whiter and brighter. This just disappears into my skin and I end up layering something more white on top. I've been trying to use it as a lid color to use it up instead.
EDIT: I tried using a flat shader brush instead of a fluffy one to apply and the shimmer showed up so much better. I like it much more now so I'm moving my rating up to a 4.
