AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL COLOR. It's such a dynamic purple. The microshimmer really makes it.
Other than that, it's quite awful. It's very goopy, thus making it so hard to apply. The polish never seems to dry, either. I ran my hands under water about an hour later and it started gooping off my nails.
Ugh, total crap. I always shake and take great care of my polishes, too. Because of this, I know it's allllll zoya.
Would never recommend this.

Everyone raves about Yasmeen, and while it's a pretty color - deep rich purple with reddish-gold shimmer - I was mildly disappointed because Zoya's website describes it as a "cool" purple, but the warm-toned shimmer warms it up so much it was almost burgundy most of the time that I looked at it. It's a nice color, but not really what I wanted. Oh, well. I'm sure I'll still wear it occasionally.

This was my first Zoya. I love it so much, never seen another purple like this one! It's a deep purple with very fine gold and reddish pink shimmers. Stunning and sexy! The brush was a bit too thin for my taste but it still applied well with no streakiness. Only needed 2 coats + SV and it's been lasting for days so far with only minor tipwear. The finish by itself was kind of dull so topcoat is a must for a glossy finish. Looks great on short nails and on toes, as well. I wasn't too impressed by swatches online but I'm glad I ordered it now. Quickly becoming my favorite purple...

Amazing purple with shimmers of warm red, pink and flashes of gold! Brush isn't the best though.

Colour: Love it! This is a deep purple base colour with warm red/gold duochrome and deep pink shimmer as well! Lovely glassy depth to the shimmer without harsh glitter. In my pics at the top the first is with flash which seems to show the base purple best, but the no flash pic that follows shows the red tones and gold duochrome - almost looks like two different colours depending on the light! Metallic finish. I also like the fact that it isn't so dark as to look black, even indoors. I never wear black on my fingertips. Warning for those of you like me with very cool skin tone - although the base pigment is a deep purple, the red/gold shimmer makes this overall quite a WARM colour. I am therefore still looking for my HG cool blue-toned violet/purple polish.

Formulation: Nice finish. Easy to apply, not too thick. Opaque bottle colour in two coats. Looks even better on than in the bottle! Like all metallic/foil finish polishes it tends to show the brush strokes a bit, but not as bad as some.

Packaging: I find the brush hard to use, not sure why. The shape seems a bit odd - clumpy and rounded at the end which makes application very tricky, but not sure if this is just mine though. I prefer OPI brushes. Buying this again? Oh YES!!

At first, I wasn't impressed by it; I mean, what's so special about a dark purple? Plus, I'm not a big fan of colors that almost look black. But the pinkish shimmer in this is so GORGEOUS, it's what makes this color pretty :)
I'm definitely a fan of this color, and would recommend it to anyone. =D

I went to my local spa and used this nail polish for my manicure. The polish is a very deep purple so it looks almost black but in the light you can see the true color. My spa only carries Zoya nail polish and I love the consistency and the lasting power of this nail polish. It does not chip and it did not take long to dry at all. I usually use this nail polish for my pedicures and I was shocked that it lasted a whole month!!!! The polish is on the expensive side but well worth the price.

This polish is just *smoking* hot! I can't imagine ever living without this, as I use it at least 6-8 times a year. It's a deep shimmery duochrome wine/purple that stops just short of black on the vamp scale. This polish just makes me smile when i'm wearing it. It's a killer toe color, and with a couple rhinestones, it just looks rich and vampy. Probably my most favorite pedi color of all time!!

Wow!! I am really impresed by this polish! Not only is the color totally awesome but the formula is great!! One coat is sufficient and when you let it dry the pigment spreads out evenly and seems to dry pretty quick. Not amazingly fast but faster than other nail polishes I have tried. It's pricey but if one coat gets the job done I'll definately be trying more from this brand ;)

what a lovely dark purple. i got yasmeen as a gift for christmas and i immediately had to put it on. zoya's brush is a bit hard to work with at first as it is TINY but their formula is good enough to make up for it. i love yasmeen, it's one of my favorite purples. i would definitely repurchase in a heartbeat. here's a pic of yasmeen with one coat of quick-dry topcoat.

When you ask the nail board for Zoya rec's, Yasmeen is always mentioned multiple times---and for very good reason! What a fantastic shade---a deep jewel-toned eggplant with a complex shimmer of pink/magenta. It's a fun color without being garish. I'm pale and neutral/cool, and this one works well with my skintone. Zoya's polishes apply extremely well for me, especially considering they're "big 3 free".

Yasmeen is one of Zoya's most raved-about polishes, and I can really see why! The purple/pink shimmer is heavenly, looks like a treasure chest full of goodies in the sunshine! Three coats is pictured, but two would have sufficed. It is just gorgeous! This is my absolute favorite when it comes to purples, by far!

Yasmeen was my very first dark purple polish and it got me going on a dark purple crazy! This is a very beautiful shimmery, deep, warm purple. Under some lighting it looks almost black but under sunlight the color is absolutely gorgeous.
The polish bubbled quite a bit in some places even after applying thin coats; it's probably because Zoya polishes are Big 3 Free. Yasmeen applied kind of funny and the first coat was a bit streaky (the polish application went from full-on color polish to practically nothing near the tips...maybe it's the brush or my base coat??) but after two coats you couldn't see brush strokes or streaks.
I did get a minor chip on the third day, but I repaired it with just a little more polish and it never chipped again. Tip wear was minimal, and I think if I didn't take off the polish after 5 days, my manicure would've lasted for over a week.
Overall, great polish. I wish it applied as smoothly as OPI polishes do for me though, but I will definitely repurchase.

I have yet to find a purple that comes close to the beauty of Yasmeen. I'm not even going to try and describe the color because several others have reviewed it already. Just know that it's a gorgeous shade and very unique! I got good coverage with 2 coats, which is great since Zoyas usually take 3. I will totally repurchase this when I run out!

GORGEOUS shade of purple! This shade is really named "yasmine" if you havent been able to find it through search. As the reviewer mentioned below me, its a deep rich eggplant, with lighter pinky/purple shimmers in it. It looks gorgeous in the bottle, and even better on tips and toes! Very eye catching, and sexy. I have noticed my shimmer seems to run together over time in this bottle, but nothing shaking cant fix. If you like purple, then this is a must have shade for you. In my top 10 favorite polish colors ever. I love the formula of Zoya, its very high end, and I prefer it to OPI, etc. Im a nail tech, and while I dont bring my zoya's to work, everyone loves this shade when I wear it. A must have from the Zoya collection!

I love this nailpolish! It looks fantastic after 2 coats (I'm not a single coat kind of gal anyway), a deep purple with pinkish/magenta shimmer. The color is a pretty good balance between warm and cool and should be flattering on most people. Also, the Zoya formula is Big 3 Free, meaning it lacks three carcinogens commonly found in polishes.

This is easily the most beautiful purple nail polish on me ever. It is a bit warm with a lovely shimmer and just such lovely intense punch of color. I love it on my toes.

One of the most beautiful purple polishes ever created -- quite possibly THE most beautiful (that I've tried, of course). An absolute must-own, whether you have dozens of nail polishes or prefer to keep it down to just a few. Yasmeen (Yasmine) would fill your 'purple' slot and you'd never need to look further.

Rich and very dark purple plum meets eggplant without looking black (even indoors w/ dim lighting), this gorgeous dark purple is totally complex. It looks deep and lustrous, with a stunning dusty pinkish shimmer at all angles. In normal lighting it's gorgeous. In the sun/direct light, you may even weep a few tears over it's shimmery beauty. My coloring is pale neutral leaning to cool, and even though I tend to like cool toned purples, this works beautifully with my skin--better than ANY blue or gray-toned purple--and I'm sure it would be perfect with any skin tone, neutral/cool/warm.

I think the reason this gets so many raves is it crosses so many boundaries -- if you love dark vamp colors, you'll love this. If you don't like super dark colors, you'll love that this doesn't ever appear black or blackish. It's an elegantly dark totally complex color with a stunning shimmer and richness that other purples can't compare to. It's that rare product I'd just say ORDER IT sight unseen. You won't be disappointed.

Zoya is formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate free. Application was a bit gloppier than I'm used to, but my nails are glop-free, so yay.

TEXTURE: A little gloopy, the texture seemed to streak and grab and make cookie dough stretches but strangely it dried just fine.

COLOR: When you want a deep sexy red with shimmer radiating from the inside you try maybe OPI Revved Up & Reddy or maybe FP Pretty Poinsettia. When you want a sheerly glowy blue with deep set blue shimmer you want China Glaze Indian Ocean. When you need a deep sexy black tiger lily purple with strong warmly shaded purple plum tones with a glow from deep within REACH FOR THIS COLOR. It dries a bit more deep than it looks in the bottle. Wear it when you are in the mood for a deep color but not a full fledged vamp. It truly is a great shade. Everyone talks about the shimmer in this color. The way it comes from deep within gives that shimmer the most deep texture. And the shimmer is very very fine and plentiful and dark and glossy. It is hard to describe but easy to imagine.

WEAR: I don't know yet as I've only had this on for just over an hour but Zoya usually wears well. I will update of course if there are unexpected changes... and I always do have pics! PM me if you would like a see. continued >>

Beautiful rich deep purple. Absolutely beautiful!!! The darkest nail polish color I own and yet it doesn't seem too vampy.
My only complaint is the brush. Very long and flimsy. Made it difficult to apply accurately.

This is a beautiful multi-dimmensional color with great wear. It looks great in indoor light, but I find a little too purple in sunlight. I still love this polish though. If you are loooking for a great plum nail, this is the way to go!
