This is a must-have if you wear liner, especially liquid liner, or use shadows to line. These are reasonably priced and of great quality. The perfect size and consistency to create a 'clean' smudge.

I have the set of two sponge tip smudgers. They work well for what they are and you can't beat the price. But I've found Q-tips work just as well for me. : \

This is a good smudger for dirt cheap. It's not the best--Sephora makes better. But when you need one quick, or can't spend much, it's a good choice.

I have the duo pack with two small smudge brushes. They both have short, slim wooden handles and are very lightweight. One has a small, somewhat wide and flat (but rounded at the top) head with soft-but-firm, dark-colored bristles. I like this one better as the shape and size really lends itself to smudging a thick line of kohl pencil. Plus, it can be used for more precise application of accent colors. The second brush has a much narrower head, kinda pointy, with stiff white bristles. I don't really use this much unless I need to apply some color very close to my lash line. I think it's a bit too stiff for comfortably smudging liner, and the size/shape means it's not all that versatile. But these two were only around 4 bucks and are really good quality--I've washed 'em twice and there's been no shedding or loss of shape so far. Essence of Beauty makes some really nice makeup brushes for very reasonable prices.

i have like 5 of these smudgers b/c they're great for applying shadow as liner. they make these in two sizes...one is quite narrow and small, the other thick and a bit bigger. i really like the smaller one a lot. easy to use and cheap.
