Superb item. I was using MAC's fix fluid before this, which was also great but in most of the occasions it was just little bit thick. While, Guerlain's silky smooth foundation is in another word, though the coverage is not that full as MAC's, I think it could be enough for most of whom that has normal acne scars.
Which this product impressed me is that after had it on about 8 hours, it still stays well on my very oily T zone. YEA! FIVE STARS!!!!!
And the scent is light and pleasant. (the mac one is erh...)
Well, I can not really give a fair mark for this foundation in the price, as I actually swapped this foundation from a very nice lady.
Packaging is quite feminine, and very Guerlain I should say, I love it so much.
Anyhow, this product is worth to buy.

I love it! I just started on a bottle i bought at a (clearance) sale. It's very light and covers well. Not too thick. I can use it too cover my under-eye circles as well. However, its discontinued. I actually work part time in Guerlain, Singapore.. so i'd recommend Parure Aqua as a good replacement for this product! Similar texture, but slightly thicker coverage.

I am really happy that I found this foundation. It is so easy to apply, and it melts into the skin. I use both Beige Clair and Beige Naturel for nature contour effect. Has this foundation been replaced by the new Parure Extreme? Anyway, I couldn't find this foundation any more, so I have bought the Parure Extreme and cannot wait to try the new one out.

I just purchased this product from Shoppers Drug Mart, not cheap at $55 but I have tried Chanel and MAC and nothing seems to really give me that "look" I want. This is so nice, matte but not too matte if that makes any sense. Wonderful scent too but not overpowering. I wear this over my Nuxe Nuxuriance Serum without moisturizer and it is just right. Beautiful coverage but not like I'm wearing a mask. My skin can breathe and I can see my freckles which I love. Evens out my skintone perfectly. I'm a MAC NW25 and I wear Dore Claire in this foundation. I'm 46, soon to be 47 and this makes me looks year younger. I'll post back updates as I continue to wear this.

I am new to MUA, and this is the first time I give review to a product, and I give it to this Guerlain foundation, coz I'm so excited to find my HG foundation!
I am a fluid foundation addict. I've tried a few high end foundations (ex. Givenchy, Dior, MUF), and till now Guerlain's semi-matt fluid foundation is the best for me, nearly perfect.
The packaging is so classy, the pump works so well that you can get the exact amount of product you want. When I first appl it on my face, I immediately fell in love with it. It's creamy and yet very light, it blends easily, coverage is very good, and most importantly it looks natural and controls oil all day long.
The only thing that disappointed me is that the color choice is a bit limited. I'm Asian and currently living in Europe, the color Ambre Clair which I think suits me best can only be found in Asian countries, so I had to opt for the Beige ones. The color Beige Clair is too light and pinkish for me, and the next color Beige Natural is too dark! So finally I had to take Doré Clair. Luckily this color works well for me, especially when the summer is coming.
I will certainly repurchase this product. I can't wait to travel back to Asia in order to get hold of a bottle of this foundation in Ambre Clair!

For reference, I have combination skin, acne-pron, in the summer I can become very oily.

I've been looking for a foundation with this type of finish forever - goes on smooth and gives a slightly matte but not dry finish. And it doesn't rub off onto clothes easily. I have a problem with foundations sitting on top of my skin and/or making me feel sweaty or greasy. I have tried Giorgio Armani and I'm always aware of it when I have it on.
I had a makeup artist (not just the salesperson) put this on for me - he did a perfect match. The first shade he put on oxidized on my skin and went a few shades darker - he explained that happens with people with more acidic skin. Never knew that before! I guess that's why I've always had problems finding the right shade of foundation or found my foundation to look orange by end of day. I suggest trying this foundation and having a real makeup artist put it on - not just someone trying to make their sales quota.

good foundation but not perfect.the formula is just right:not too runny not too creamy and the bottle is convenient as you control the amount you get.it has a a nice finish gives a healthy glow to the complexion without looking greasy or oily however if you want more coverage you have to build more tha two or three layers and concealer and powder is nessesary.if you want heavier coverage ladies skip this unless your skin looks near perfect.also the colour selection is quite limited and all of the shades are on the pinky peachy side.coverage and tha fact that it turns orangey after a few hours really bothers me the most.its the only make up that looks good at hospital like light though and if I don't find something better I might repurchase....still searching

This is my ideal foundation for the past year! Great coverage, texture and a faint powdery scent , and has the best natural shade for me (ambre clair). On my mixed skin type it gives an even skintone with a healthy-looking glow (Not shiny, not powder matt~ in between; just perfect) . Totally love it :))

I love this product. I have gone through maybe 5 bottles of this! I have tried Lancome, Dior, Clinique and a few other brands here and there but this is my fav. It costs $55 CAD now (gone up from 52), so it's definitely on the expensive side (most expensive one i bought), but i think it's definitely worth it. It's semi-matt, and yet not drying on my sensitive dry skin. highly recommend it!

Wow! I am so happy to have finally found a foundation that is just perfect for my skin. I bought this in beige natural and it is the exact colour to my skin just melts into the skin and covers really well.It gives such a flawless finish.
I have tried chanel DPC,sisley oil free foundation, dior icone and none can compare to this foundation all looked way to ashy on my skin.it is hard to describe but it feels so much like your own skin but better. Try it,for reference I have combination skin and with a light dust of powder (I use YSL poudre sur mesure-another lovely product)I am set for the day! Edit: Dissappointed with this, oxidized and turned a yucky orange horrible. Anyway I am lucky to have found my new hg in lumene double stay have used it for the last 4 months and it is just wonderful, keeps the oil at bay and is natural looking. And it is dirt cheap compared to the h/end products

This is my new holy grail foundation!!!
I thought that fleur de teint was great but this....is sooooooo much better!!!
its colour is slightly lighter #230 than the #240 of the fleur de teint witch is great because de fleure teint #240 was al little too deep for my skintone.
It has a wonderfull smooth fluide silky texture blends very easelly with the skin and leaves a wonderfull glowy finish nothing shiny. There is no real matt just not to glowy... Dust a bit of meteorites powder over it and your ready to go! I love this one!!

Bought this in July based on reviews here and it is wonderful. Glides on beautifully. I have very fair skin but with a lot of red; the Rose Naturel provides the most wonderful coverage, evening out my skin tones and providing a sort of all-over glow that, if it doesn't take a few years off, at least makes me look as if I've just come back from a healthy vacation. I put a full pump's worth on a non-latex cosmetic wedge, dab it around and then blend.I also have extremely sensitive facial skin, prone to irritation and blackheads, and have had absolutely no problem. I don't have the tiniest of pores either, but this foundation doesn't settle into them. I often finish with a light brushing of Mythic 01 Meteorites powder, also wonderful and never caky or overly-dry-looking. I took a couple lippies off the packaging quality because, while it is lovely, I resent the extreme heaviness of the glass bottle every time I pack it into a suitcase, which is fairly often.

This is actually sort of a mini-review since I've only worn this once, and I wasn't even the one who applied it. Originally, I'd wanted to try the Fleur de Teint since I'm, ahem, more mature and my skin is rather dry. Since I showed up at the Guerlain counter wearing little more than the sheen of perspiration on my face, the MA gently insisted I try the Semi-Matt. What the heck.

The formula is very nice; easy to blend in and I couldn't feel it on my skin once she'd brushed it on. Also, it wasn't completely matte, which I liked. It had a slightly dewy finish, but that could have been the Meteorites she used. Either way, it was very pretty, slightly dewy and soft. She used a pretty light film over most areas of my face but built it up a bit over some hyperpigmentation and the coverage was good yet still comfortable, and I didn't look or feel "made up." It did look a bit orange on me, but I think that's only because she used the second lightest shade on me, and I almost always need the lightest shade. I did swipe the lightest shade on my jaw and neck before I left and it was a much better match, and that part did not turn orange.

The reason I won't buy this is because it did make my skin feel drier and taut the longer I wore it. I had it on about five hours and finally washed it off because the tight feeling was starting to irritate me. I loved everything else about it though, and the color match in the lightest shade was perfect, so I think I'll go with the Fleur de Teint. The packaging is both beautiful and sanitary, as always with Guerlain. continued >>

I cannt beleive that only one person likes the foundation. I have dry/sometimes oilly/cokmbination skin, 27 years, very pale, unproblematic skin.
I boought this (half a year ago)at the recomandation of a girl on a forum and I love it. I didnt want to have great expectations first, I was given up to the idea that I can have a nice natural skin wearing foundation(I tried Clinique, chanel, dior- wihich was the best, but was looking to heavy:)).
This is a very light, blendable liquid. The pump is very hygenic. I have the lightest shade available in uk (230, rose naturel) which is slighty deeper than my skin. Anyway is the best much so far.
You have to aplly this very soft, like you barely touch your face. Put just bit by bit, and blend it easly. Don't press ! This last 1 day on my face. I use also the meteorits powder to fix it. At the end of the day it becomes a bit shiny but is the same how the previous reviewer said: it s a dewy lovely look! It looks amazing. What i like most is the natural look: I look also in a mirror in natural light (normal and then 12 X) and then in the artificial light. This foundation cannt be seen.it s bare skin there.:)
I have also some hard time with this foundation , during the winter. I was moistorizing too much in the morning and after applying the foundation the skinwas feeling to dry, to tight. (that why i bought the fleur de teint) but after i correct this everything was great again.
My favourite foundation, and yes I think i will repurcahse(I never repurchase a foundation before)!

This is a high quality fluid foundation in a nice glass pump bottle with gold cap, the product itself and the package are both beautiful, just like what Guerlain always brings to its customers. I have combination to dry skin and use a moisturizer before application. This foundation goes on very smooth, spreads and blends in like a dream. Provides light to medium coverage (also buildable), looks natural as well as flawless, and gives the skin a radiant healthy look, unlike some foundations can make you dull or flat. To my surprise, this relatively rich foundation actually stays on quite well, I don't need to touch up for hours. A lot of foundations tend to wear off really fast on my nose and accentuate my pores, when wearing this one after half a day, my nose does get a bit shiny, but in a good way---more like a radiant dewy look instead of nasty oily, and it doesn't make my pores more visible. Now I'm using shade #230 Rose Natural because I got somewhate tanned in the summer. I think the lighter shades Rose Clair or Rose Pale would match me better in the winter but they don't have them here in North America, how sad.
