I must have a terrible sense of smell...I don't smell anything bad here. Hmmm. Anyhow, I think it has a nice consistency and isn't too heavy. In fact, it's a good formula for wearing under my tinted moisturizer. It could be a tad richer, but I'm OK with it. It's not a miracle worker, but the packaging is a nice tube which is hygenic, it's a decent size, and the price is also decent. Plus, I also think it helps to even out my skin tone a bit.
UPDATE: I started breaking out from this around my chin and mouth area pretty badly after about a week. Too bad because I really liked it :(

First off, I didn't buy this. I got a sample from Sephora. Secondly, it really does smell like feet! I used it the day after I received it, so I know that it wasn't old. The smell did eventually dissipate, but it is so disgusting even if it was miraculous (it wasn't), I would never buy it.

Pros:
spreads easily
skin feels so soft and moisturized
my skin drinks this
Has not broken me out
not greasy nor too drying for my combo/dry/sensitive skin
Cons:
Smell- like feet
notice when my face is not wet, it does not absorb as well
So I love this product except for the smell. I am going to continue trying more just because I would like to not gag when putting on my moisturizer.

I received a sample of this with my Sephora order and just used it today. I will NOT be buying a full size. The moisturizer is light and feels nice on my skin, but nothing that my current moisturize doesn't do. And the smell of this is absolutely AWFUL. The package says cucumber and rosewater, but I think it smells like old people's foot lotion. It's so strong and pungent, I can't stand it.

I love this moisturizer. It's light, moisturizing and does not irritate my skin at all. It's great under foundation, although at night I prefer something a little more moisturizing. I don't mind the smell at all. I actually like it, to each their own I guess.

I am on my second tube of this moisturizer, and I plan to keep using it: it is perfect for morning moisture under my foundation, and unlike so many others, it does not compromise Any foundation I use. It has been good through all seasons, all weather, and has Never irritated my rosacea. I guess I could use it at night, too, and plan to do this once I use my more expensive creams....I never thought I'd use anything like this, I am typically skeptical of "natural" product lines claims, but I am happy to be using this.

I don't get how people found the consistency to be too heavy. This felt nice initially, but did not provide enough moisture after about an hour. Now purchasing Guerlain Super Aqua Serum. I usually use Neutrogena SPF 15 lotion, which works well, but I'm 27 and noticing a few little changes in my skin texture/tone.

Like many other reviewers here, I was initially very turned off by this cream because of the scent. However, the keyword is INITIALLY!
I received this for free as a Sephora skincare challenge item. When I first opened it, I immediately made up my mind to not like the product because the smell was so funky-- a weird herbal, slightly sour, woody combination. I don't know what brought me to even put it on my face that night, but I'm so glad I did because the next morning, I woke up to the softest, smoothest face ever! My skin is usually rough in the morning, and I used to have to exfoliate pretty often, but this makes my skin noticeably smoother and more supple. Now it's part of my daily skincare regimen, morning and night, and I've gotten over the smell. I actually find it kind of comforting.
When I ran out of my original bottle in March, I waited a little bit before buying it again because I thought there might be a Sephora F&F sale soon. My skin noticed the difference right away, and I couldn't wait to purchase it again. When I finally did get my 2nd tube, it went right back to being soft and smooth in the mornings, thank god.
I hope they never change the formula! Though I'm a sucker for all things that smell good, I could care less about the smell of this cream because its effects are just so amazing. continued >>

Seemed nice and creamy, but I wasn't able to get over the odor. I got a sample; I threw the rest away after one use because I was afraid that the lotion had gone bad. It stunk that much!

I actually bought this at the fresh store in dallas. My bf loves fresh stuff and I love a few, but this caused me to have an allergic reaction that lasted over two weeks! I have okay skin, oily and an occasional small breakout. Well I tried his umbrian face mask and loved it. So I thought what a nice face lotion! No!!!!! Horrible, full of cheap preservative additives and caused more acne than I've ever had at one time.

I am asian with very sensitive skin. This moisturizer sinks in. I put it on my fingers and rub my fingers together and pat it on my skin. There is some smell but it doesn't bother me. It moisturizes my dry skin enough for the spring/summer time and I have not had any allergic reactions unlike with Ole Henriksen Herbal Day Crème SPF 15. It doesn't leave me oily later on the day either.

I received this item in the Sephora skincare challenge. I was hoping the product would be a lot better than it actually is. Though I'm not bothered by the scent like other reviewers, I do agree that this is a bit too thick for a facial moisturizer. I wouldn't purchase this in the future and now just use this sample as a hand lotion.

This was definitely not my cup of tea! I received a sample of this from Sephora and did not enjoy applying this cream. The smell was odd and the consistency too thick (my skin couldn't breath). I do, however, see this as being suitable for those looking for a matte moisturizer as I found that it gave me a matte, no shine finish.

Yikesssss. This product has gotten some bad reviews. For me, the moisturizer itself was alright. It's a little thick, so I would say it's best suited for a winter moisturizer. The smell is awful. Like, it's better than them to put synthetic fragrances which break people out (like me), but danggggg. The smell is like some type of chemical mosquito repelent. It's pretty bad. But I tried not to let that get in the way of me liking the product so I only marked off 1 lippie because the moisturizer itself is pretty good. Makes my skin soft and soaks in quite fast. Idk if I would repurchase, maybe if they changed the scent a little.

I received this for free during Sephora's skincare challenge promotion, where you bought four qualifying skincare items and got a full-size item for free (more on this later). Fresh Soy Face Cream is... well, it's like the feeling you get when you're looking at the Facebook page for your 10 year high school reunion. There are some people you remember fondly, some people you can't wait to see so you can gleefully chortle over how their lives have turned out (very Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, I know), and then there is always that one person where you go, "Hmm. Did we go to high school together?" And so you discreetly Facebook stalk his/her profile and try to glean as much information as possible, and you think "Well that's the right year, but why don't I remember this person at all?!" Fresh Soy Face Cream is that classmate, the one who was so inoffensive and yet so forgettable that you will dig out your old yearbooks in hopes of figuring out if you had Spanish 5 - 6 or Band together. It just isn't... exciting. And for something that is supposed to (and I quote) "reveal a healthy-looking, radiant complexion" and boasts of such ingredients as soy proteins, rose water, green tea, and various vitamins in a tiny container for the price of $38.00 (which I know is still pretty reasonable for a higher-end moisturizer), it's very bland. I applied it only at night as it doesn't have any SPF in it, and while it didn't cause any breakouts, it also didn't give me the promised radiant complexion. I have sensitive yet oily skin, and the rich texture of this cream was well-suited to it during the colder months, but like I said -- all it really did was prevent my skin from drying out. I just don't see the hype. I don't hate it, but I don't love it, and if I go to my reunion I really hope everyone is wearing a nametag.
In terms of the Sephora skincare challenge. Okay, I'm not complaining because a free product, and a well thought out campaign like this one, deserves kudos. However, the campaign VERY CLEARLY stated that the item you received as your gift would be a full-size item. Ladies and gents, check the Sephora website: the full-size Fresh Soy Face Cream is 1.7 oz. The free gift you receive? 1 oz. Again, I'm not picketing Sephora and I'm not complaining about it; rather, I want to point out the inconsistency of this marketing. If they had stated that some of the free rewards would be full-size, and others would be smaller as they saw fit, this wouldn't have caught my eye. But because all of the flyers I received in the mail, and every salesperson who cheerfully informed me I was getting closer to the reward item, and all the advertisement in the store blared FULL-SIZE ITEM, I call shenanigans. While this in no way affects my review of the product, I do think it deserves a mention.

I got this as a sample from Sephora. The MUA touted it to be even better than Clinique's even better cream/lotion I'm using ;) I'm fine with the "soy" smell and actually, as much as I like lotion to smell good, I would love it to be fragrance free or naturally scented.
On one hand, Fresh Soy Face cream is good since it seems to be "organic", hydrating enough so it's more matte and less creamy/oily than my Clinique's even better. I had loose powder on for a day and it doesn't dry my skin out but it is definitely less moisturizing than the Clinique's even better. On the other hand, the cream is loaded with a lot of different antioxidants, emollients etc which might be the reason why I had some 1 (yes...lol) white head on my face today:
WATER (AQUA)
NEOPENTYL GLYCOL DIHEPTANOATE
STEARIC ACID
PPG-2 MYRISTYL ETHER PROPIONATE

For me I usually total the comedogenic levels of all ingredients and this comes out to be 13. To be honest I would rather pile up antioxidant from food, drink a lot of water so a decent amount of good things in cream is better than an overdose. You know, if you have too rich cream, it can cause oil seeds which are even more painful to get out (no heads yet white like white heads)

I have pretty good skin, basically normal. I switch between ROC Advanced Night cream or Olay Total Effects at night, and Olay Complete SPF 15 during the day. Time-proven, effective products with a lot of research behind them, but which don't break the bank. So I got this free from Sephora. As everybody else, I noticed the smell first. I didn't find it repulsive, just . . . interesting. I would rather have a regular face cream smell and not this old-cucumber-but-not smell. Then I noticed that it took awhile to rub in. I didn't mind that b/c I just used it as a chance to massage my face. Then after 5 minutes, I noticed that my face still felt a little tight and dry, which annoyed me. And now, a couple hours later, I find my face a little itchy, in that way that I suspect a breakout is going to happen unless I wash this off ASAP and put on some ROC Retinol to clear my pores and save the day. Really, Fresh?? C'mon. I don't get the hype about Fresh products generally, I really don't. This one is going to the "maybe my mom will like it" pile.
EDIT: I just went to the mirror and saw 3 pimples starting to form in a place I NEVER break out in. If I could give this a zero, I would. Time to bring in the 1-2 combo of Clean and Clear salicylic acid and Persagel.

I used this product after I used the Soy Face Cleanser. The first thing that I noticed about this product was the fragrance. It seemed really strong even though the package stated that it has all natural fragrances. It smells a little like cucumbers as well as soy, but it was too strong and I didn't like it.
The second thing that I didn't like about it was that it didn't absorb well and it made my face *sting* afterwards, then I noticed I had broken out a little bit the next morning along my jaw & chin.
I'm glad I tried it but won't be using it again. continued >>

Good face cream. While it didn't knock me off my feet, it did a good enough job to make me consider buying it again. I think the easiest thing to do would be the classic pros and cons list:
PROS:
Soaked in great
Calmed down my redness
Smelled nice (although I know some would disagree)
Lasted a long time
Kept me moisturized all day
Didn't irritate
CONS:
Expensive
Had to use a thicker layer to get enough moisture
Don't like the bottle
While it's a great product, I don't think it's worth the price tag. I love Fresh and I think that so much of their products are top of the line, but this just tipped in at slightly above average for me. Great as a luxury item, but it doesn't do as much for me as my Kinerase Cream does.

I got a sample from sephora and just used it. The texture is nice, but the smell is godawful. I cannot tolerate it, it does not smell like soy to me, but some weird herb, very weird and intolerable, ugh!
