I was a little hesitant about buying this mash because I've tried the mint julep one which didn't impress me at all but thank god for an impulse buy at the Lush store
This is the BEST mask I've ever used. I have oily/combination skin with blackheads and pores. I make sure my skin is damp and I'll put a teaspoon on myface.This mask feels cool when applied and doesn't take long to dry.
The results are amazing!

I actually had a medium size pimple on my forehead and I applied this mask just on the pimple and it dissapeared overnight!
I use this mask every 2-3 days and now I don't even need to use liquid foundation. Just concealer and a light dust of powder.

I like this mask, even though I don't see any concrete effects on my skin.
I got the small size jar, since it's an expensive product, and I wasn't sure if it would agree with my skin or not.
I've been using it for about 3 weeks, every few days, and I like how it feels on (very cooling, minty), and I like the smell (yummy).
It hasn't broken me out or given me any adverse reaction, but I can't say it improved my skin a lot. Maybe my face is brighter and smoother, but I don't know if it's this product or other stuff that I'm using (I recently introduced glycolic acid into my routine).
I keep it on until it feels dry, then rinse with lukewarm water, and it rinses clean and leaves my face soft.
I said I would repurchase, because I think it's a good product, but in reality I may not, only because there are other masks out there, cheaper and that do the same thing. If it was cheaper, then yes, I'd definitely repurchase.

Everyone has written raving reviews here so I am guessing that this might just be me! I'm tempted to try the mask a few more times just to see if the hype is real but after my first experience I'm pretty reluctant... This mask broke me out like CRAZY and I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin. I get break outs fairly often, but the scale of this one on my left cheek was bigger than I've had in a long looong time. The day after using the mask I noticed quite a few small pimples around the area, but it's now 2 days after and they have grown, spread and left me self-conscious. Obviously there's no way for me to tell whether it has just been the mask causing the break out, but I used my normal skin routine alongside it which generally doesn't cause me any problems... and it was the morning after using the mask I first noticed problems. By all means if you still want to try the mask - do. Just putting a warning out there that it might not be suitable for everyone :(

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT. It does miracles to my skin! I have only used it for 3 days, but I already see a huge difference.
I've been struggling with blackheads around my nose for a while now and have a real hard time removing them. After the first time using this mask, I looked in the mirror and went "Where did all my blackheads go?".
The mask feels soooo fresh on my skin. The mint gives it a real cooling affect and makes it feel like the mask is doing something. The mask also reduces redness and really does even out my skin tone. My face looks great after it! You honestly dont need much product at all to cover your whole face. I bought the smaller container, but i think ill be able to last until the expiry date since the amount of product needed is so little! I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

I loved this product because it made my skin feel incredibly clean and smelt great. But I had a reaction to it, with little raised bumps coming up shortly after on either side of my mouth that took a week to clear. I love Lush products, but this one is too harsh for me. I have pretty sensitive skin, so I have since used Catastrophe Cosmetic and Cosmetic Warrior at the recommendation of Lush girls. These have both been great, and Love Lettuce was also recommended. This is just not for very sensitive skin, I believe because of the peppermint oils - it's a strong product. I did use it again on just my forehead and nose where I didn't have a reaction, but won't be buying this again, even though it's lovely. I love the packaging, mainly because of the 5 pots, get a free mask deal!

I have to say, that out of all the mint masks I've tried (and I'm in my second tube of Mint Julep) this is my overall favorite. There's something in the way it smells and the way it continues the tingly-mint feeling after it's dry that I feel it's really working. I mask regularly and I try to do this one twice a week, it doesn't dry me out at all and my skin feels super refreshed after using it. If you can afford it, buy yourself a small tube, see if it works well on your face.

Excellent product for my sensitive and oily skin with easily clogging pores! It does best work if I leave the mask in the fridge and apply every two days. Magnaminty stays about 10 minutes and then I remove it with circular movements. The price is also very good for the 315g pack.
I have tried clay and purifying masks by Bioderma, Thal'ion, Ingrid Millet, Guinot, L'Occitane and Clarins, as well as by some smaller brands. To me, Magnaminty did what the others didn't - really cleaned my pores and improved my complection, thou it did take some time. I saw the results after about 2 weeks usage.

I have so much love for this product! i currently have a sample size which i asked for in a whim whilst purchasing catastrophe cosmetic facemask, so i didnt really know what to expect. The woman at lush advised me to leave it on for 10 mins, then as washing rub my face in circular motions to get the most out out of its exfoliating properties. i applied it only to my forehead as i have been experiencing a few whiteheads and oiliness there, and was amazed with the results! after just one use the whiteheads have gone down considerably and my skin looked glowing and matte, but not dry in the slightest. i hope with more uses it helps even more! its definately good for oily acne prone skin, and you can also apply it you your body, which i will be trying out once i purchase the full size product. the smell i think is really pleasent, like mint ice cream and not at all overpowering, and gives a lovely cooling tingling feeling when its on, so i think it would be perfect for summer as a way to soothe and cool skin.
its a must try! much better value for money than the fresh face masks as you get more for less, and it has a longer expiry date too. get a sample first though; the people at lush are always happy to dish out samples :)

First i would just like to thank lush for existing in general, but on to the product! I fell in love with the mask because the wonderful things it does for my sad excuse for skin. Also it smells absolutely fantastic! I just wanted to eat it like it was candy(and am now forcing myself not to as i accidentally discovered it tastes great as well!) I would recommend this to anyone with oily or acne prone skin.

I LOVE this product for my skin, it helps me so much with my acne! What I really like is you don't have to use this on your entire face, so the product can last a really long time. I usually put it on areas of my face where there's acne, and the day after I use it I can already tell there's a (good) difference! The smell is amazing; it's nice and minty and feels very cooling on the face. After I was it out my face just feels so soft and really clean! I ran out of it a while back and I really need to get back to Lush and buy another tub of it!

This is one of my absolutely favorite masks :) It is a thick consistency with aduki beans and primrose seeds for exfoliants. I LOOOOOOVE how when I apply it it tingles and its a sort of cooling feeling on my skin, it just makes me feel soo fresh! I have acne-prone skin and I feel like this mask doesn't do much to reduce them or anything - it just makes me feel really fresh and awake! :) I would say the only con is that it is quite hard to remove because some of the exfoliants are quite sharp and I don't want to scrub because of this reason, so I just splash water on my face and just kinda rub it off :) (Thats why its not 5 stars) But when I pat my face dry and look in the mirror my skin looks so much more even and glowy! I think its a great mask to improve the overall appearance of your skin :) I really recommend it!!

This mask is my favourite LUSH product! Ive been a LUSH fan for the past 3-4 years and i've tried a good few of their fresh face masks but they never really made a difference to my skin. I was actually given a sample of this when i asked one of the sales assistance about acne on my back, she told me to try this and i was really suprised about the long shelf life (normal fresh face masks have a shelf life of 2 weeks). So i ended up trying it on my face and WOW its fresh! It smells very minty and even smelling it clears your nose (kind of like those smelling salt things!) Its very thick, gritty and green and i LOVE IT! When first put on this skin it tingles and like other reviewers you really feel it cleaning out your pores! I wait for it to dry (about 10 mins) then spend a good 5 mins rubbing it into my skin before rinsing it all off! My skin feels SO refreshed afterwards and not dry at all. One of the best properties of this mask is suprising it really does reduce redness, pecially around zits! If i have a good pick at my face (I know i shouldnt do it, but hey) this mask really calms everything down! I use this mask about 2-3 times a week and it really does last me ages! LOVE IT!!!

I like this! It's nice and refreshing, although not amazing. I've used it only a few times a week as a morning cleanser/mask or in the evening on no-makeup days. It does not cause breakouts.

I love it! First face mask I bought from lush and I'm definitely going to repurchase this again instead of trying their other face masks.

Love it! My first item from Lush was this mask! I totally fell in love. Making my skin very soft!

To start off with, this product is super bright green, herbal, and luscious on the skin. It applies thick with huge chunks of adzuki bean in it that make it hard to spread…when I apply it to my face, I am left with clumps that just simply won’t come off my fingers on to my skin, so those go towards softening my hands when I’m done applying. It doesn’t take much, a double-finger scoop’s worth to cover the entire face (avoiding thin-skinned areas like underneath the eyes and too close to the nose.)
While it’s on, it immediately goes super-cold and minty, hence the “Mask of Manga*minty*” name, I guess. Not like Queen Helene’s popular one. This one is icy mint cold and it truly feels like it’s sucking my pores dry while it’s on. It takes about ten minutes to dry, no dripping, no clumping off as I first suspected. It dries up like mad and quickly with the setting texture of thin clay – lovely. My face can’t move once it’s dried but it’s a nice…”drawn out” feeling, I guess, like I’m doing my skin some good.
Now that we look like Botox monsters from the swamp, rinsing off is easy, just for the sake of you and whoever cleans the sinks, this may be best done in shower. It’s a total project in itself not getting this all over everything. But once you do, you’re left with a face that’s been “sucked dry” for lack of a better term. It feels especially nice following a good rinse and lather with a cooling moisturizer. It never fails; I can count on waking up the next morning with brighter, fresher, more youthful looking skin. Loving’ this stuff and will continue to keep it in stock. (Since apparently, this doesn’t need refrigeration and it has a stealthy shelf life for a fresh product.)
(And for reference, I've been able to get at least six uses out of a sample tub - which looks small - have your local Lush counter whip some up for you and try it out. Otherwise, this stuff isn't expensive at retail, either.)

I LOVE THIS MASK. I have tried a multitude of masks - almost all of the Lush fresh masks, Dermalogica masks, Nutrimetics masks, Garnier, and so on and so forth. This is by far the best. After reading other reviews, I decided to follow the advice of another MUAer and scrub after using mud masks - it makes sense, bring the gunk to the surface then scrub scrub scrub it all away! So after cleansing and doing a very gentle scrub, I slathered on the mask (which was NZD$17.30 for what I thought was quite a large tub). It does tingle as the mint is quite strong, especially on such clean skin, but after a couple of minutes it's completely gone. I quite enjoy the minty fresh feeling! I know people often complain about face products being in a tub, but with the thick texture I can't imagine it'd be practical at all to put it in a tube. Plus, I am a normal person who washes my hands before dipping them in a tub... so I don't really get why people go on about it being unsanitary. After quite a while (maybe half an hour) I washed it off, I didn't scrub it frantically, rather just gently rubbed it off. I didn't actually even find it that scrubby. Then I went in with a nice fine scrub and gave my face a really good massage. After washing everything off, I slathered on my usual treatments and went to bed. When I woke up, my cheeks were glowing, any active pimples had either shrunk or completely dried up, and my skin looked more even and smooth. It wasn't dry and it wasn't oily. It was lovely! And I've done the same ritual a couple of times since, with the same results. I love this! I think it'll last quite a while if I use it twice a week. I don't think it has really diminished my blackheads on my forehead much, but it definitely dried up the bigger ones so that the next time I scrubbed my face they just came off. Fabulous product if you use it right!

Love this stuff! It smells nice and minty and makes my face feel fresh and baby-smooth afterwards. I like that it has scrubbies in it so when I wash it off I can scrub off the dead skin too. It can't say it's made a huge difference in my face, but what I do know is it feels great and it hasn't made me break out, which is always a plus!

This stuff will really clear you out. It leaves my skin spotless and clean, just as a good mask should!
I recently tried switching to Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque, which has great reviews, because MoM is a bit out of my price range at the moment... the MJM isn't nearly as good as MoM. It's not as exfoliating, and it leaves my skin more dried out. I need to get my hands on some MoM again!

The Mask of Magnaminty was FREEZING and SUPER MINTY! My eyes were watering because of how insane it felt! I could feel jets of air in my pores! I left it on for about 10 minutes 'til it dried, and then mixed with water in swirls on my skin. The little black pieces in it made it sort of look like mint chocolate chip ice cream, and I'd say that's the best way to describe the scent too :). I have never felt so refreshed and clean! I'd say this is 10x better than Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask. HG Mask por vida!
