It is a good eyebrow pencil. I have mine in 02 Cendre (Ash Blonde). Before that I had a 01 Blonde, but it was a bit too light. Ash Blonde for me could be a little bit too dark, but I use lightly.
It's not soft, but not too hard either. Good spoolie on the other end.
My only complaint is sharpening, it won't fit into either of my sharpeners, and I don't want to buy their sharpener just for that eyebrow pencil.
The price is $11, and I wait when it is on sale for 50% off.

This is my current brow HG product. It has surpassed anastasia beverly hills' pencils and everything else I ever owned (and believe me, I've tried MANY products).
I'll try to keep it short. So:
Packaging & price:
for an yves rocher product, it isn't expensive at all, however in Europe they are not cheap either. I paid the equivalent of €7, which isn't THAT low :) or i might be cheap. However, for a pencil, it isn't dirt cheap, that was the point :)
The pencil is long, it has a beautiful soft spoolie at one of the ends and two protective caps. I think the spoolie is by far the best I have ever seen in a brow pencil since it's not harsh, the hairs don't scratch the skin and they aren't so tightly packed together to collect lint or dirt. It also works perfectly with the pencil's consistency to blend the lines out, which is a major plus for me.
Color/pigmentation:
I have mine in Cendre, which i find to be the closest shade available on the rather-lower-end market to Anastasia's Medium Ash. it isn't as gray but it mimics it 85-90%. Perfect.
I think Cendre is the perfect universal shade, since it can be used by pretty much everyone regardless of their skintone and hair color, just like ABH's medium ash. It's very hard to find this type of product, especially a lower priced one, so Yves Rocher really did a wonderful job and I feel like I've hit the jackpot by purchasing the pencil.
Consistency:
it's a hard(er) pencil, not as hard as ABH but still. It doesn't even compare to the plasticky feeling low end brow pencils give, the residue they leave, and the mess my brows can become after using them, especially if in a hurry. You can just draw your eyebrows on and it would still look natural. Quite powdery finish, pretty much like ABH's. Amazing. I hardly need to set my brows with powder after using this pencil (and I always do that..).
Would I buy it again:
Hell YES! I am actually going to the YR counter tomorrow and stocking up, I think having at least one spare is gonna make me feel less stressed about not being able to find it later on (this particular shade tends to fly off the racks in my city).
Overall.
It is a great find, for the price, the quantity (long pencil, pretty much Lancome length if you know what I mean, and it doesn't need frequent sharpening), the SHADE (which is the biggest prop), the spoolie. Such a great product that totally deserves a shout out. I am surprised no beauty blogger/vlogger said anything about this product, it would help the ladies' wallets so much if they knew about this. I think it's a great price to pay for great quality. Very recommended. continued >>

Funny, the exact same color that is called Blonde on the US site, is called Light Brown in Sweden, country of the blondes...
Anyway, it is a good light brown, not too warm (but not cold, either), very natural looking with my light brown hair. And I will have to buy another one right away, as I gave mine to my mother after seeing drawn on reddish brown eyebrows on her. Her hair is silver, and this color still works.

love love love! I've always had trying to find brow pencils that match my hair and skin. Most brow pencils are either too brown or too grey. The color I use is "Cendre". Its a perfect brownish-grey. It applies easily and comes with a spoolie at the other end. Yves Rocher products go on 50% very often so it only costs 6.50$ CDN. HG for sure.

Have to chime in with my own review, these brow pencils are awesome; just the right color and texture, both when I was a blonde and a brunette :) Very natural-looking color, and they don't fall apart when you sharpen them. Have purchased 6-7 times and am always very pleased with results. The short brow brush on the other end is perfect for traveling.

This is about the 7th brow pencil in a row from them so I guess I don't need to tell you how good I find this product? ;-)
I have it in Intense Brown which matches my browcolor perfectly! Smooth to apply and longlasting. 1 of my HG!!!

the color taupe is great, and i have very sparse dark brown brows, but dont like to look too "painted on". I got this during one of yves rocher's huge sales. it has a little brush on the end which is great also. goes on easier than the red maybelline pencils that i also use.

After running out of my Smashbox brow powder I picked this up. This is an awesome pencil! I bought it in Blonde and it matches my brow color perfectly. I like how it goes on easily and there is not a lot of trying to grind the colour into the brows. After using this I use the wax that was left over in my Smashbox duo. For the price you can't go wrong either. I think it was only $10. Usually I use the Clinique brow pencils but they get too expensive having to replace every 3-4 months. I didn't have any problems sharpening the pencil and it didn't fall apart.

Probably the only right color for my sparse, very uncontrolled brows. Not too black to make my brows totally "drew-on". Goes on easily. My only unpleasant experience with this product is sharpening. Is it my sharpener? I kind of lost a quarter of the whole pencil during sharpening. I am watching the website for its next sale.

This is a first-rate product. The taupe looks great on me, fills in my medium brunette brows very naturally. I've used it successfully as well on a white-haired elder whose brows had lost most of their color--she looked amazing, so I gave her the rest of my pencil! The blonde works well on my friend, a brunette with heavy highlights. I used Lancome's pencil in the past. This one actually has a better texture than and the same handy brow brush as the Lancome pencil, at a fraction of the price. $8 each, though almost always available for $4 with the usual Yves Rocher promotion.
