I disagree with the previous reviewer ... i love this one. It is a sparkly red that definately shows up on my quite pigmented lips ... its a soft red though (so if you're after something stronger, maybe this isnt the gloss for you).

I quite like the apple smell (candy apple) and love the easy to use applicator. Like all of these glosses they are not sticky but wear really well. The best part is the price! So damn cheap! I also have berry bella ... think i might be buying a few more (at the cheap price, who cares if they arent all great!)
EDIT - CANT STAND THE SMELL! ITS TOO PLASTICKY! the only one i actually like the sugar plum ... grrrrr

In the tube, Apple Red is gorgeous, a shimmering true red, the perfect red colour for fall and winter months! Unfortunately on lips it clear and only offers a hint of warm red with red shimmer. I’m very disappointed that it does not show up pigmented on my lips. My other Shiny-Licious gloss, Cola Float, is very pigmented, and I thought Apple Red would be like that too. From reading the other reviews it seems that a lot of the limited edition shades show up clear for the most part. Apple Red has a candy apple smell to it that is somewhat authentic, though I’m just not the biggest fan of apple scents. The texture is thin and slightly sticky, and you can feel the glitter when you press your lips together. Boo, hiss Maybelline!
