LOVE. Nude is the perfect MLBB. Sheer wash of color. NO glitter or shimmer. No smell or taste. The only thing unfortunate is that the product can not be retracted. I am so sad they discontinued this.

Almay Multi-Action lip treatment (Kinetin). I tried this on my lips to smooth them & any minor lines. I can't really say there's been any difference. It's just like any moisturiser. I apply this so it just goes above my top lip line & it soaks in fine. I'll keep using it untill it runs out, but I don't think I'll buy it again. continued >>

I bought this in Nude and I wasn't impressed. While its scent and moisturization was fine, the color wore off really fast and left an orange stripe near the inside of my lip. I've tried several Almay products because it's one of the few drugstore brands that doesn't test on animals (and I don't want to spend a lot of money on makeup.) But I can't seem to find an Almay product that I like.

I found this dirt cheap - 2 for $1 and I only made it as an emergency purchase. Several weeks later, it has become a staple. With spf 25 built in, it is something I wear everyday. Just after getting out of the shower, I run it across my lips and just let it sit there until I put my clothes and do my face. By the time I'm ready to do my lipstick and lip gloss, it has been well absorbed and acts as a perfect lip primer.
I have #700 clear, which isn't exactly clear on me) and it does not give me that stellar gloss shine so I never wear it alone. However, in the manner that I use it (as spf, primer and moisturizer) it scores high marks.

although i feel the product is a bit pricey for an Almay product at a drugstore, everything else about this product is amazing.
not only does the product hydrate and protect your lips, but it *heals* them if they're cracked and sore.
it also feels SOOOOOOOOOO good on the lips, the first thing that hooked me. the second is that the colors are perfect -- sheer, nice finish, great for most skin colors.

The only reason i like this product is because the color "nude" which i got it in, is amazing on my fair with yellow undertones skin. The SPF is also a bonus. Now.. it is very drying to the point where you should put lip balm underneath because if you dont it will make your lips chapped. Another thing, it isnt a tint its a lipstick and its completely matte without any shine. What i do to make it more sublte and more of a tint look to it is instead of just applying it like you would normally apply lipstick, i dab it on and therefore it looks natural and gorgeous.

I got this at the dollar store and I love it. I got Mauve and berry. I like them both. I LOVE the SPF and the color is nice. They do not feel dry at all to me. I would have paid $3-4 for these but probably not more. At $1 each I may buy a few more to stock up on.

This doesn't moisturize, comes in weird colors and the packaging is awful (doesn't twist up and down easily). Pass.

great idea, Great packaging, bad product. luckily i found it at a dollar store so it wasn't much of a waste, but it was basically dry color on lips, no moisture at all

This review is for Clear. I found this when I was cleaning out my nightstand last night and I remember how much I loved it. I put it on right before bed and when I got up it was still on my lips (great staying power)! It makes my lips feel soft and moisturized without being heavy or greasy and gives them good sun protection. I thought it was discontinued but these recent reviews give me hope- I'm off to try and find it at the store!

I recieved this liptint called cocoa in a swap, and holy crap this sucks! I expected sheer color, while it does have SPF, I applied it, and it looked like I smeered poop on my lips. The texture was horribly gritty, and way too oily. It went around the outside of my lips, and it made me look like a clown. I think I will swap this away, don't buy!

I absolutly love this product. I bought it in Nude a while ago, which is sort of neutral dusty rosy color, and its the perfect shafe for my between fair and light complexion. It goes on more like a lipstick than a tint, only its on the lower end of the lip color cost scale (I don't remember how much I paid for it, but at drugsotre.com they have it as just under $5). The color is very natural, rahter matte, and the staying power seems to be pretty good. I love the level of spf, and I like the super slim container which I really like and is rather durable. It has held up well in my bag when I normally crack lipstick tubes.
Skimming through soe of th most rescent reviews I think the problems is really the name of the product. I really think its a good product, but calling it a tint is misleading, and as a result caused issues with people getting more color from it than a tint would normally give. It really is like a lipstick--high pigmentation. The color it is in the tube is the color it will be on your face

Like the spf that the product provides. i was looking for a balm or lip gloss with heavy spf for the up coming summer. i have four shades ( Mauve Shimmer, Pink Shimmer, Petal, and Clear ) they all look approximatly the same shade on my tinted lips with the execption of clear ( all very soft shaded not powerfull colors ). the shades go on expressing ranges of pink. pink shimmer is the lightest, muave shimmer and petal are almost the same exact color. clear isnt at all clear. it looks like a really soft peach color goes on creamy. on all 4 shades i always have to add on clear gloss because even tho it makes my lips soft it doenst have any shine what so ever and it looks weird with out it. i wish the colors were more diverse and that it added some shine. this product all in all i think its OK. i have to add a clear gloss when i wear it, color is ok not something to die for could have been more diverse love the spf but almay could have done better. doubt i will repurchase. id rate it 2. oh i got this only for 50 cents at a place called cosmetics warehouse but its normally 7-9 bucks ( found that prace range at target and duaneread ) each it was on sale so i wouldnt know the regular price. the bottle is pretty cute made for your pockets pretty small. i only bought this for the spf so i would recommend it to girls who are lookin for somethin along that line. no scent/taste.

This isn't so much a moisturizing tint so much as clown makeup. I expect great things from Almay products and it just did not deliver. I was expecting a sheer bit of color, maybe with some shine, but it was very matte and very bright (I have it in "Berry"). It also dried my lips out, and I never have dry lips.

I agree with everyone else...it isn't really a tint.

I didn't like this balm much at all. I have "Berry", which turned out to be a garish 80's hot pink, not very berry-ish at all. It's not very moisturizing either, it just kinda sits on my lips looking gaudy & smearing everywhere. I will NOT repurchase, and will most likely return the one tube I bought to ULTA tomorrow. continued >>

I have tried this in Nude and Clear. I find there to be no smell and no taste - a definite plus! And the SPF - an even bigger plus! However, the best thing IMO... the Nude colour is by far the best, most natural, YLBB colour I have ever found!!! (FYI: I'm a FFF, med brown highlighted hair, hazel eyes). The colour is neither warm nor cool, shiny but not shimmery, sexy and natural. Seriously, every time I put it on, I feel bee-oo-tee-ful!

I think I ended up getting virtually every color when these went on super clearance. A package of one lip tint and a clear lip balm was on sale for about .75 cents. Not bad! I don't love these balms/lipsticks. I usually use them underneath a lipgloss. The Cocoa and Nude are my favorites.

This lip balm is really great in every way EXCEPT for it's waxy taste/smell. It's not overwhelming but it's not pleasant either. The texture is very soft and smooth, it's moisturizing, it goes on nicely, it has SPF, and the tinted one is a very nice berry color. The red color is actually very, very pigmented. It looks sort of sheer in its tube but it's really not. It looks almost like lipstick.
