I was looking for an eye cream with SPF. I thought this eye cream got everything I was looking for. I guess i had my hopes up too high.
The sun protection and the concealer part were okay. Not great - just okay. While I didn't need major moisturizing, this "eye cream" was just way too dry! I had no idea how drying it was until i accidently squirted a bunch onto the back of my hands. I rubbed it out, and after 30 mins, my hands looked completed chapped with visible lines. I freaked out and decided to never buy this again.

I really wanted to like this product! :( it was suppose to be my cheaper alternative to the Shiseido sunscreen for eyes, but I was really disappointed.
1. never mind the lack of moisturizing, I have oily lids already. what really drove me nuts was the fact it "balls up" when I put my Laura Mercier secret camouflage over it. I seriously have no time in the morning to gently and slowly pat my eye concealer over this sunscreen so it won't ball up!
2. beware of this product if you wear false lashes! I wear false lashes on a daily basis, and even though I wear an eye makeup primer over this sunscreen, the sunscreen tends to over dry my eye lash glue. causing my lashes to slip off by mid-day.

I didn't like this at all. It is not moisturizing and does not feel like an "eye cream." after reading the other reviews, however, it occurs to me that there may be some worth to this just as an spf for eyes. I use 55 or 70 on my face every day, but I guess I am a little slapdash--I probably don't worry as much as I should about making sure that my eyes are spf'd. Still, there has got to be a better option than this. The tint is laughable, totally non-existent. I shall have to look around to see if there is any other eye cream with spf. I will say that it doesn't sting at all, and perhaps that is the issue with eye creams with spf.

I use this for sun protection. For me it is not moisturizing, but not drying either. I like the price, the slight tint, the fact that it's a physical (mineral) sun block (spf 30) thus works well with mmu - and it has never burned my eyes - not upon liberal application nor from perspiring during exercise or outdoor activities. As a sunscreen for the delicate eye area it is a great choice.

I couldn't get this in Canada and swapped for it. I'm just in my mid-twenties, and don't have noticeable wrinkles (yet) but wanted something to use daily to prevent them. So far, I have no complaints concerning the product. Since the tint matches my very fair skin tone, it blends nicely and makes for easier undereye concealer application. It's not greasy and absorbs quickly, and I find that it doesn't get or make the skin on/around my eyes oily either (which is my main problem with skin products). I use it every day with my existing routine, and likely won't stop using it until it's time to upgrade to a wrinkle fighter.

Unfortunately not, and I love Neutrogena products. Was excited about the spf30 have been looking for sometime in a less expensive brand. It goes on INCREDIBLY dry and the tint has the opposite effect but actually leaves color on you which due to dry consistency is difficult to rub in and is frustrating when you're dealing w/an already fragile area. Skip this one, ditto for the face cream.
**UPDATE** 3/18/08 *2* more lippies
I began using this again w/my Origins White Tea Skin Guardian as a primer and am pleased w/the results, it countered the dryness and even the tint has me looking more refreshed and less post-mortum than I'd complained about before. I **could** buy this again but I'd like to try Khiel's spf 30 stick w/my own concealers before I do. All in all a solid purchase I think

I like other Neutrogena products, but not this one. It is not very emollient, and it makes the skin on my eyelids look crepey.

I was looking for a more reasonably priced alternative for Clarins Sun Wrinkle Control Eye Contour Care SPF 30. Well, this is the one. There are not so many sun protection products on the market that are suitable for eyes area. Regular sunscreens hurt my eyes SO much! This eye cream have a very nice texture, a tint that does not change the color of the skin at all, and a high SPF rate. Super find. I use it on my whole family, and even the my "terrible two" has nothing against it. Amazon sells it for $11.

I'm really undecided about this product. I was looking for an eye cream with a strong SPF, which this delivers. However, I was also looking for an eye cream that would hydrate and moisturize, which I'm not sure it does. The tint is a nice touch. I have tried using this over a light layer of more moisturizing eye cream, which tends to work pretty well as long as I wait long enough for the first layer of eye cream to sink in before I put this on. It's a nice product, but I'm not sure it delivers all that I'm looking for.

I can't believe this doesn't have better reviews! I am going on two weeks of using this and I think it's great. I am very pale, and the tint is just fine on me. It's not thick and sunscreen-y. I use RAM on my face and just started Ystheal eye contour on my eyes so I wanted to put something other than the Shiseido SPF 55 PA+++ lotion. Will repurchase.

It is great to have SPF in an eye cream and the tint covers some darkness. However, it is thick and I have to wash my hands after I put it on or it will get on my clothes and because it is tinted and doesn't absorb very well I can't just rub it into my hands. It has not made my skin break out or irritated my eyes at all but it also doesn't stay on very long so the sun protection wears off pretty quickly. But any sun protection is hard to find in an eye product so it is better than nothing. It is not perfect but I am willing to use it if it helps me avoid wrinkles around my eyes in the future!

I purchased this product because it was the only eye cream I could find at the drugstore with an SPF. Other than sun protection, it does nothing for my eye area. I won't repurchase.

After trying this, I reread the label to see if it really said anything about moisturizing. Yes, it had the words "moisturizes" and "hydrate." This came as quite a surprise because my eye area wasn't moisturized or hydrated! In fact, it made my fine lines look worse (maybe from the tint?) and I returned the product.

While the tint provided enough coverage for me to skip concealer, and the SPF 30 made me happy, this product cakes and flakes up as soon as you try to blend it.

I recently purchased this product because I wanted an inexpensive eye cream with SPF. I normally use Prescriptives Vibrant, which is more of an eye brightener, is more expensive, and does not contain SPF. I love this product and highly recommend it. Several of the reviewers have complained that it tends to "ball up," but I have not had this problem at all. Also, it's not a super rich or moisturizing eye cream, but if it were, I wouldn't like it for daytime use, anyway. This eye cream has a light texture, and that's perfect for daytime use, especially in warmer weather. Also, while the tint is barely detectable, it does slightly brighten the eye area, which is nice.

This product is only lightly moisturizing, so if you have dry skin, you may need to use an additional product. It's not a luxurious feeling eye cream and it's not the easiest to rub in. However, it gets 5/5 because it offers truly good sun protection (10% zinc oxide) that is unlikely to irritate your eye area. It also contains antioxidants. It's difficult to find another eye product that offers such good protection, and the price sure isn't bad. I think that the only purpose of the tint is to cancel out the whitish cast left by the zinc oxide. The tint doesn't show up at all on my very pale skin. Update: I wonder if Neutrogena has improved the formula? It's much easier to apply now and feels silkier. I hope they never discontinue this.

Love this! I was using Clarins sunscreen for my eyes - but it's so expensive! I tried this Neutrogena product and it's perfect. It absorbs quickly, doesn't sting my eyes and the price is right! Even though it's tinted, it fully absorbs and doesn't leave any color on my PPP complexion. I haven't had the problem with the product balling up on me like some of the other reviewers. I do agree that this isn't extremely moisturizing and I use other products if my eyes are dry in the winter. This is a great daily sunblock for the eye area though and I will definitely repurchase.

Love this, my HG eye cream. It has spf 30, and is tinted. The tint is light, so it doesn't make a huge color deposit on your skin. The cream itself is light weight, and sinks right into your skin. I apply after moisturizer, then apply concealer, with no cakieness, and it doesn't settle into lines. 10 dollars for a tube, that will last you a very long time.

wow-- can't believe how disappointing this is---NOT moisturizing, and the coverage is fair...it looks quite good FROM FAR AWAY. But dont look too closely ladies....this balls up into a million little orange balls and looks as if it is actually DRINKING the moisture away as it works. Not easy to blend at all....ugh. I fell for some beauty editors pick and i'm sorry. ALWAYS READ YOUR MUA REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!
** in an effor to make it work i use a brush to apply this which makes it ONLY A BIT better.

This is too watery, and as stated, balls up when you rub it in. Not recommended. I used Clinique's Super City Block SPF 25 for my under eye area only. Great consistency, and great price if you're using it for the eye only.
