This perfume is definitely a head turner. Friends laugh about the impact of this perfume Especially amongst males. It's a very stong and sexy fragrance not really for the daytime - I'm a chanel chance girl in the day

Coco and Allure Sensuelle are my favs from Chanel. They are both very unique. Allure Sensuelle inspires warmth, coziness..pleasant smell. Later edit: the smell does not last (i have the edp) as much as coco or allure classic does..would not repurchase.

I smelt this on some family members and really liked it- I decided to add it to my collection of fragrances, it differs from my usual Gucci Envy, Vera Wang Lovestruck, Ralph Lauren Romance (floral/fruity) scents- It did not work on me- it was far too peppery for my liking - made me sneeze and get serious headaches- the scent lasts long so good quality in that sense- I couldnt wait to wash it off- Really disliked it on me. Dirty pepper note for me- I think that it is an evening/mature scent maybe?!!! I prefer the Chanel No.5 (still not my fav somewhat soapy) or the Chance by Chanel.

If you are someone who likes sweeter scents then I would stay away from the Allure S.

At the beginning I really liked it, but now I find it a little bit too overwhelming and nauseating. It's not overly complex and it's a perfume many women wear, especially when they go out (theatre, tango classes, ... ). It's easily recognizable but I prefer my perfume to be rare. You neither want anybody to wear the same dress nor the same perfume to the party.

As with some other perfumes I love, this comes off a bit masculine at first. The amber, vetiver, vanilla and lavender are the strongest base notes and can be a bit reminiscent of men's cologne for the first hour or so. The floral middle notes and the citrus top notes start to rise after a while and turns this into a beautiful, and excuse the pun, sensual fragrance. It is probably always a bit androgynous, which I think is very sexy. It's a deep, dark, earthy type of sexy, not light and airy like a lot of people like these days. It also has great staying power, and the fade on this is lovely. Only down side is this is really more of a fall and winter scent, sadly I don't wear it between march and october.

Chanel Allure Sensuelle has been my number one favorite for several years now, nothing else captures the old world glamor quite as well. The floral, spicy and woody notes comes together harmoniously for a scent that is warm, sexy and elegant all at once. The blend is characteristically Chanel, it showcases classic glamor at its finest!

I have had this fragrance for three years now I got it for a gift from my boyfriend.it comes in a very elegant sophisticated bottle. It is my first chanel fragrance I have ever owned found the fragrance to be very sharp and somewhat overbearing it didint smell particularly floral to me nor fruity but I smelt a hint of vanilla in it.it didn't suit my body chemistry and I think it be best suited on an older woman not a twenty something like me.its still sitting in my case still barely used maybe when I'm a bit older it may grow on me but its definitely not a young woman's fragrance.

I was wearing this perfume for long time untill my friend didn't buy it as well. She asked me what I wear, I told her but I didn't know whe will immediately go and buy it. I wouldn't mind this but she started to wear it in my presence, she sprayed herself I suppose so many times that the perfume lost any beauty. On her it was so sharp that I couldn't stand the smell. Anyway if you spay it less the perfume will show the best of itself. I cannot wear it anymore. I hope that one day I will war it again, because the perfume is beautiful, a little bit masculine but I think this makes it special. I could wear it all the time, day, night, summer winter, of course in summer don't spray too much, just a little bit....I suggest before buying to wear it for a few days, try to get a sample, I sample all the perfumes before I buy, because I have to find out first if the new perfume is my "other skin". The review is for EDP, sillage is extremely good, the drydown - after couple of hours, doesn't have to fit everybody, so once again wear it first.

Warm, soft, confident - this fragrance is all these things. SO great - lasts all day on me - it's an oriental, to be sure, but it's understated and classy.

I get vanilla, musk, and a hint of something woodsy - even a bit of patchouli, but it works for me. Smells good enough to eat

Of course, it's super expensive, as it's Chanel, but a 1.7 ounce bottle of the EDP lasts me for over a year -

I used to like this perfume at the beginning, and now I smell this heavy bitterness it's weird. For such an expensive bottle would definitely not buy again. One that never ever fails me is Narciso Rodriguez :)
