I liked this a lot, but it wasn't moisturizing enough for me. It stung very slightly when I first put it on, and it had a strong scent -- a nice one, which I think was the neroli oil -- but not something I want to put on my face. It did soften my skin and make my face look relaxed in the morning, but it wasn't $90-worth of difference.

Now that I'm in my 40's I find that I need a pretty intense moisturizer or I end up looking like the cryptkeeper. This is not a great moisturizer.
HOWEVER, I use this once a day and it does give me a very pretty glow and is truly a noticeable difference in my skin. It evens out the coloring on my face so well and even makes my freckles look cute (no idea how, this must be magical).
I do have to use a heavier moisturizer aimed at preventing wrinkles etc once a day (typically at night). But I will buy the (HIGHLY OVERPRICED) gorgeous over and over.

I found it best as the body cream :) i have been using it over a year now and i would say it keeps my skin so soft and even out the skintone. Love it!!!!!

Awesome product. I was very hesitent to use it due to the fact that my skin easily breaks out and the product has alot of fruit oils in it, but once I tried it I was sold for life! It is expensive so I suggest going into a Lush store and asking for a sample (they will only give you a tiny amount).

I got this as a sample from the SA at the Lush store. I didn't look at the price at the time...I got home and tried it, and was not impressed. It's just an average moisturizer for me and truthfully, it left my skin a little on the greasy side...
Then I saw the price. >
$90 for a bottle. I want to hear angels sing the next time I put $90 moisturizer on. Angels. Singing. Loudly.
Absolute waste of money---there are so many other products out there that would do the same job for a fraction of the cost. continued >>

I'm using a tiny lipbalm pot of this stuff now, debating on getting the full size when I use it up. It's moisturising without being heavy, sinks in easily, doesn't break me out or exacerbate my oily spots too much and helps out a lot with my dry, flaky spots. Smells nice, and you don't need much. I'd prefer a pump to a pot, but it doesn't bother me too much. The price is pretty steep, so I'm still undecided.

I got this moisturiser for half price. I've wanted to try it for ages, but baulked at the price. And now... I'm hooked.
It's a heavier moisturiser, and I was a bit apprehensive but it hasn't broken me out or clogged me at all. In fact, when I apply it at night, in the morning my skin is matte, bright and clear. My pores have decreased in size and my skin is soft and smooth.
It takes a while for it to sink in, but I don't really find this to be an issue as I use it mainly at night. If I put it on in the morning, I just top it with translucent powder and I'm ready to go.
This is the most impressive moisturiser I've tried for a long time, and I will definitely buy it again, even at full price.

Yes, it's very expensive, but it's totally worth it.
I've tried every facial moisturizer from Lush, and this is the only one that hasn't broken me out. Instead, it just makes my skin look unbelievably amazing. It brightens like no other. Also, a little goes a long way (since you're supposed to apply it on slightly damp skin; do this -- you'll see much better results and you'll get more bang for your buck), so a tub should last you, like, a year. I have never gotten such amazing results from a moisturizer, and my skin is difficult: sensitive, combination and breakout-prone. This stuff somehow moisturizes the dry parts of my skin and mattifies the oily parts. I will definitely repurchase.

AMAZING!!!!!!! The only downside to this moisturizer is the packaging. It comes in a recycled tub, which is eco-friendly, but it will spill easily so be careful as this is expensive. This is the BEST moisturizer I have ever used. I was a little apprehensive because even though it doesn't have mineral oil in it, it is made with many other fruit oils, and I was afraid I would break out..NOPE!! It actually clears your skin up, and creates a beautiful (Gorgeous) :) lit from within glow. I don't even need to wear makeup with this product. I look stunning just with the moisturizer, and you will too! It doen't have an SPF though, so that's another downside. But I have a sheer tinted moisturizer with SPF 15, I just put it over it. As for the smell, I personally love it. It smells like oriental flowers or a citrus scent. I know it's expensive, but here is a little tip! Order from the UK website and you will save like $40 with the conversion! Just pick the Royal USA shipping option. I got mine in less than a week! I will def be repurchasing this product again and again!!! :)

I bought 3 trial sizes of these during one of Lush's sales and they have lasted me over 3 months with using it everyday. THe scent of this product smells like a combination of fruit and tortillas! I can literally smell this on my face for hours after I put it on, which I do in the morning and night. Overall this product makes my skin feel much more moisterized and leaves my face feeling full if that makes sense, I may switch to using this only at night because it is a bit greasy for daytime use, however if I put this lotion on my face before my foundation it does give me a "glow". I like the natural ingredients that this product uses, it makes my skin feel so much fresher and healthier than when I used products such as cetaphil and proactive face lotions. I will probably buy this again because while it does NOT prevent acne or help clear up acne I feel it gives me great results as far as calming and soothing my skin is concerned. However, for 90 dollars a tub, I dont really notice any drastic changes, I am just hoping all of this pampering my skin will help for when I am older.

Got a sample of this because I obviously didn't want to spend AUD$100 for a product I wasn't sure about. The sample the girl gave me was so tiny I was only able to get 2 uses out of it and I only used a bit each time. The 2 uses I got out of this was not enough to convince me that this product is worth the $100. It did feel really nice and moisturising and smelt great. I did notice though that my skin has broken out a bit and this is the only new face product I've used.

There is something amazing going on with this moisturizer.
Disclaimer: I only have a sample of Gorgeous, and I've only been using it for about 2 weeks. I'm not putting it all over my face yet. (I've stopped taking BC pills after 11 years, so I'm struggling with breakouts right now while my hormones are going crazy.) I'm afraid of the oils clogging my pores, so for now I am using this as a spot treatment on dry patches. Mostly I put it on my nose, my upper lip, and near the corners of my mouth.
I've had a red spot above my lip for about 3 years now. I had a zit there and the red mark never went away; I've been covering it with a dab of concealer ever since. Someone on the Lush forums mentioned Gorgeous helping with red marks, so I've been putting it on that mark for 2 weeks. Today, the red mark is completely gone!
I do want to try this on my entire face, but it's a little scary since I've always used moisturizers free of oils. But I like the smell of this cream, and it keeps my face (in the spots where I DO use it) soft and moisturized all day. If it does to the rest of my face what it did to the troublesome area on my upper lip, I'd absolutely spend $90 on a tub of this.

This wasn't good for me. It did sink in well and didn't make me greasy during the day, but it did clog my pores. The ingredients are mainly oils, so I shouldn't be surprised. I just had a sample so didn't invest the $, but this is pretty expensive to buy. I should say that 98% of moisturizers I've tried clog my pores, so it's not that it's a terrible product, just not for me. Didn't get to see if it had any any ageing benefits because I only used it for one day.

I purchased Gorgeous 3 weeks ago and have decided to use it as my night moisturiser. I have normal to oily skin and am prone to some minor breakouts as well as having a few chickenpox scars on my forehead.
Every day I have woken up with glowing, clear skin! This moisturiser is phenomenal! The orange blossom smell might not be for everyone, but I find that I really like it. I am with other reviewers when I say that the packaging is not ideal however, I do understand that it is environmentally friendly so it's not a huge deal. Overall, this moisturiser is amazing and I can definitely justify the price considering the small amount that I use every night, at this rate it'll keep me going until Christmas!

This is my first review so here goes; After trying many, many different moisturisers over the years, this the best I have ever used. Just right for my combination skin and gives a nice even glow and evens out the skin tone.
Is it worth the hefty price tag? IMO yes, as for me it delivers.

I snagged this as sample and I have been using it everyday. It makes my skin very nice and soft and does appear to make my face look fresher the next morning. I don't think it is strongly improving my skin tone (my skin has darkness around the mouth) but the moisturizer definitely lasts throughout the day.
I'm not too crazy about the smell, but I have gotten used to it so it isn't a problem for me anymore. I don't think I will purchase the full size because it is not a miracle cream for me, I am sure I can find much cheaper alternatives that so the exact same job.

I know what you're thinking... geez that moisturizer is crazy expensive! Well yes it is, but honey, it is worth every penny! I have combination skin and I do have scars from acne as well. I swear this product is improving my skintone, and making my skin just GLOW. It is simply amazing! Tip: Order from the UK website and save about $30 than if you bought it from a US store or on the NA website.

This is a great product and can easily compete with highclass overprized cremes! I have blemish-prone combination skin and use this as a day creme. It gives my skin such a nice glow and is perfect under my powder-foundation. To me, this creme even has some kind of makeup-effect, my skin tone is much more even and redness reduced after I put it on. My skin really loves this one, it`s so moisturizing without beeing heavy ore causing breakouts (even reduces them, I would say). It sinks in really fast and if I overlook the unsanitary pot-packaging it`s the perfect creme.
Nevertheless I`m not sure if I`ll repurchase. I prefer using all skincare-products from the same line and I´m not overly impressed by the Lush-Cleansers, not to speek about the terrible scrubs.

I received a small size of this as part of a gift package. I put it in my travel bag because of it's small size. I used it while on vacation and I could not believe how soft my skin was after just one use! I'm not crazy about the smell, but it dissipates rather quickly. The small size (0.3 oz) lasted forever. You need just a little bit of product. It is suggested you use it after cleansing while your skin is a little damp and a little product goes a long way. My face feels moisturized for hours. The only minus is no sunscreen. This is generally OK since my foundation has sunscreen but I would like my moisturizer to have sunscreen for days that I do not wear make-up. The price seems very high but it will last a long time. LUSH is usually pretty good about giving free samples at the counter, so give it a try. Or order the "Hello Gorgeous" gift package from LUSH and you will get a lot of wonderful LUSH products to try including this. Beware however, you may become addicted to LUSH products!

Gorgeous is gorgeous!
I have a sample, and I adore it! It makes my skin so smooth and soft, and it's good for ALL skin types.
It's really fab on my combination skin, evening it out and such.
But... it's $85 a pot. That's really expensive. That's the only reason I wouldn't buy this. But if I could afford it, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
:)
