I love LUSH skin care. I used to suffer from skin problems but I give this Gorgeous moisturiser the credit for making my skin glow and look healthy. I live in the UK and it costs £40 here which is cheap compared to when I visited the US and it was significantly more expensive. I never thought my dull, once acne ridden, oily t-zone and normal cheek skin could look alive again. But I get compliments now and I credit this. Give this a shot, this is what Princess Diana used (google it) - so it isn't no ordinary moisturiser! :)

First of all I love almost everything Lush. I haven't had anything I wasn't happy with in any department be it hair care, skin care or body. I had been eyeing this up for a long time but couldn't bring myself to spend almost 90$ on it, so I bought the Hello Gorgeous gift box which has a small, but decent amount of it in there (along with other great Lush products) and it was $40. This smaller sample type size has lasted me months using it everyday and with most Lush products a little goes a long way. I find Gorgeous fairly thick, but drotting it around my face it absorbs well and doesn't feel thick on my skin. I like the smell also as It's not overwhelming. It keeps my skin hydrated without it looking or feeling greasy which is also a plus. But all in all I don't think it's worth the money. I've had other moisturizers that do te job just as well. It's a good moisturizer, don't get me wrong, but I'm not willing to spend a ridiculous amount of money on something I can find just as good for a quarter of the price.
I'm glad that I got a sample of this before buying a full size, because it's a disaster on my skin. Gorgeous has such a strong, tart, perfumey orange blossom scent to it that it actually gives me a headache. A lot of the LUSH facial moisturizers have a strong scent that goes away within about five minutes, but the smell of this one lasts for hours. It's so overwhelming. And the cream itself just seems to sit on my skin. After applying this, my skin feels dry and tight, but it has a greasy film on it if I touch my face with my hands. It never sinks in. I wound up having to wash this off after a couple hours, because I couldn't stand the scent and my skin felt tight and stinging. Not a fan of this one at all.
Out of all the Lush moisturizers, this is my favorite. I have combo skin oily in tzone and dryer on the perimeter. Most moisturizers with oils in them clog my pores. This one hasn't. I love the smell, the fact that it is hydrating without clogging and that it sinks right in without leaving a residue. The packaging isn't the best but that is because its Lush and they don't really believe in packaging. I do like moisturizers in a pump bottle which is more hygenic, so I will transfer this one into a pump container.
Would I buy this product again? YES!!!!
I purchased this and did not realize how much I loved it and how much it works for me until I ran out and started using something else. The price is steep but how many of you would spend over $100 on shoes and they go on your feet. I cheat and buy the "Hello Gorgeous" gift set sometimes. It is only $40 it comes with a smaller pot of gorgeous as well as a bunch of other great porducts such as rub rub rub, a bath bomb, cuticle butter, body lotion and a bubble bar. If you want to try this ask for a sample or cheat and buy the gift set.
I have sensitive, acne-prone combination skin. I started using Gorgeous nearly a year ago during the dry winter (East Coast, USA). (I normally use Vanishing Cream; in fact, whenever I break out from PMS, I immediately switch to Vanishing Cream instead of using Gorgeous.)
PROS
--- love, love, LOVE how this smells (sweet orange blossom)
--- moisturizing without clogging
--- quickly absorbs into skin and feels lightweight / can't feel it
--- only need about a nickle-sized amount for my whole face
--- noticeably diminished crater scars from cystic acne (seriously, but only while wearing)
--- seems to make my skin "glow" with a healthy radiance. Relatives commented on my face.
--- amazing for under the eyes (my aunt prefers this over Lush's Enchanted Eye Cream, which felt oily to her and didn't work)
CONS
--- too heavy / moisturizing for humid summers (East Coast)
--- made me break out during the summer
--- wish it came in a pump-style container so I wouldn't have to dip my fingers into the pot
--- while it successfully dimishes/fills in crater scarring, the effects wear off within 2-3 days without using this moisturizer
--- extremely expensive at $90 for a pot. One pot lasts me 3-4 months, though.
NOTE: If you want to try this, get a sample of it first. Lush is usually very generous with samples, although they may be more modest with this product. If you ever do buy something from Lush and it doesn't work for your skin, don't be afraid to return it. It doesn't need to be a waste of money! They're very kind and understanding about returns and exchanges.

*Packaging: The usual black small tub which is terrible for this product! It is prone to leakage and a lot of product gets stuck in the screw lid!
*Price: The price made me hesitant at first to try it, but as I am on a mission to try each and every Lush product where I can get my hands on, I just HAD to try it. And it was worth every penny. Because not only does this moisturizer makes you feel gorgeous, a little goes a very long way.
*Smell: Orange Blossom - ish. I like it.
*Result: I use it every morning for since almost a year (I'm on my second tub) and I couldn't live without it anymore. It sinks in very fast, without leaving a greasy, waxy, shiny feeling behind. It makes my skin soft, glowing and healthy looking. No breakouts, no more exczema at all... perfect for my combination skin - will repurchase!
To be quite honest I have tried some cheaper Lush moisturizers, but I always returned to Gorgeous. This is a miracle worker. Please do ask for a sample at your local Lush shop.

It's taken me 6 months to write this review because I wanted to use this product for a long time to see if I love it. I DO. I'm very particular about expensive products, but this one is valuable and will be repurchased.
After my shower I spritz Eau Roma Water (do not pat) and apply a small amount- 3 fingertips- on my face for my morning moisturizer routine. It's just light enough to absorb quickly and my skin reacts well. It does not clog my pores. I'm 51, with normal skin that can be quite dry from my woodstove in winter.
Lush will give you a tester so I recommend trying it.

Ok so i got a sample of this in a gift box i got about a month ago. Ive been using it every day and im sad to say that i dont see anything special about it. To me its just a facial moisturiser and i would be able to get one from the supermarket for a lot cheaper that would work just as well! Also i dont really like the smell that much. On the positive side, it sinks in quickly and doesnt leave a greasy residue
I've been using Lush products for many years, also when they were Cosmetics To Go and am a huge fan of the company and products in general. I can safely say I've worked my way round to trying pretty much most things except for the Cacas henna hair colour as I'm blonde and have no plans on splurging on their new Emotional Brilliance colour cosmetics range as it looks clownish. Their bath/shower and body products are wonderful but over the years I've struggled with their moisturisers. I used to use Imperialis as I'm combination but it wasn't delivering that extra special oomf that my ageing skin craved, also I have had ill health and due to drug treatments also my skin suffered as a result. I had a failed romance with Skin's Shangri La (love the fragrance but it's cocoa butter content I think broke me out) returned to Imperialis, flirted with some unmentionables and then Lush brought out Gorgeous. I was loathed to try it at first because of the name didn't evoke how I was feeling and I'd been once bitten by Skin's Shangri La and also it's ridiculously expensive as Lush products per se have gotten over the years. However, as Lush is basically like my crack, it doesn't stop me making a bee line for their shop whenever I'm in town. After a tete a tete with a member of staff (I'm a sucker for the enthusiasm of the lovely Lush assistants) I threw caution to the wind and tossed a pot into my basket. It was love at first spread. It gave my skin a glow, didn't break me out, moisturised where it needed to and felt like it gave my skin what it badly craved. I've used it for a couple of years now and it's all been good, however my health has suffered again and my skin has started to age over the last few months (had more horrible but necessary drugs) so I am currently flirting with an anti-ageing aromatherapy range of serums, moisturisers and oils called Solace to see if I can get back on track with my skin. If all else fails, I hope Gorgeous will forgive me and welcome me back with open arms.
