I'm in the minority here. I like this product. Light moisturizer with mild mattifying qualities. The ingredients are very good and do not cause any reaction with my acne prone combo skin, I use this in the morning after washing my face and under my primer. I've had the small bottel for quite awhile as it doesn't take much to cover my face. I like the liquid consistency as heavy creams are just too much for my face. Good for those who want a light daily moisturizer without too many synthetic ingredients.

I think I've tried every oil control product there is, and after several tries with this one, it's as ineffective as most of the rest. I picked this up on sale at Kohl's 80% off... that should have been a sign. This didn't control oil at all - I tested it today by doign my usual routine and putting this on half of my face. An hour later, that half was just as oily as the other, which had no oil control products on it. However, this is moisturizing and has good ingredients, and I loved the way it felt on my face. The bottle is annoying because you can't just squeeze out a small amount and end up with too little or a dollop.

I have combo skin; oilier in summer. This lotion did not control my oily forehead or nose. I think this will be nice for my winter skin.

Lots of empty promises here. I thought it was overly fragrant and underperforming.

Grassroots is a new line of bath and body products featuring natural ingredients. It's sold exclusively by Kohl's Department Stores and manufactured by the Estee Lauder Co. Given it's cosmetic heritage I expected a great product. However this item may still need a little tweaking before becoming better. I was looking for a light moisturizer and shine control for my skin which becomes oily in the summer. After looking over the items in this line I selected Stay In Control. It has a light minty scent plus cucumber, Brown Algae extract, Silica, Linoleic Acid, Barley & Wheat Germ Extracts, Aloe Vera Gel, Caffeine, Sucrose, Vitamin E and Sodium Hyaluronate as key ingredients. The formula is very light and liquidy, this being the first problem. Because of it's texture and the design of the bottle (with an open top, not a dropper or pump) you can easily pour out way too much product. Moisturization is light at best and it's non-irritating. The oil control was very limited on me - it's second key problem. I still needed powder on top of this to control shine. This won't be a repurchase unless they reformulate the product and improve the package design. continued >>
