It lasts a long time and I love the smell for some reason. You need to also use a make up remover of some kind with this soap. I have tried to use it twice in a row to clean up thick foundation but that just dries me out. Otherwise I like it. (I personally doubt when acne medication is in a cleanser, for the most part you wash the soap off so the ingredients go down the sink right?) I did clear my skin using this line so I can't complain.
Despite it's slightly high price this product is infallible! I've only been using it ,as part of the three step skin routine, for a week but I can already see vast improvements in my acne prone skin. I'm not claiming that it has stopped all acne in the week that I have been using it but it had definitely taken steps towards that as a final goal. I am in love with this product!
I was very happy with this product at the beginning. It helped to clear my skin and I thought that finally I found the right product to control my acne. But after using the cleanser for couple weeks I noticed some acne scars which I have never had before. I was so upset but I didn't stop using the product hoping that my skin will get better. After using the cleanser for two months my skin became extremely oily and flaky at the same time. I was very disappointed.
Since I stopped using this product my skin got better. I really regret that I even tried it. It was too harsh on my sensitive acne-prone skin.

It's highly priced, but I think it's worth is! If you use the three step system, twice daily, you'll see amazing results! This was even better than Proactiv, considering it doesn't have a high amount of harsh chemicals in it. I love how this foam wash feels on my face, it's just when I'm done with it, it made my face feel tighter. But It never dried out my face like other products did. I just stopped using it because of the high price :)
This is the best cleanser I have used for acne. I used proactiv in the pst, and went from maybe 5 spots daily to 2 every couple of weeks, which was awesome. I wanted to switch off proactiv and try something else because of the known harshness of proactiv (and the quest for no acne!). I have been on it for 2.5 weeks now and I am extremely impressed. The day after I started using this cleanser, I noticed the couple spots I had reduced drastically. Since those spots have cleared, I have had no new acne. I am using it with the benzoyl peroxide lotion/cream clinique has, which is assisting it as well, no doubt.
The one negative I do have to comment on, however, is the drying factor. The first few days after I started using it, I noticed my skin getting very dry - unusal because I moisturize twice a day, and wear a hydrating foundation. It only lasted about a week or so, and now my skin is back to normal, although I have to use a hydrating facial mask and heavy-duty moisturizer at night, but this product is totally worth it.
Firstly, I have hormonal breakouts. It's usually one or two mega-huge pimples which are an eyesore. Thus, I'm always on the hunt for an HG cleanser that would give me perfect, flawless skin. If others could find theirs, why wouldn't I? Anyway, this did not give my ideal skin. I still have the monthly one pimple or two breakouts :( And for this price, vichy is better in terms of the foam consistency and pimple prevention.
Excellent Product. I have stubborn skin that usually breaks out with one or two pimples here and there. This product works amazing and has really helped my skin. I purchased this for my boyfriend (who now swears by it) and i was converted instantly. Doesn't over dry skin. and is cheaper then other alternatives.

This stuff is the ONLY thing on the planet that I now use because it works. I use the entire 3-step twice daily and it is literally the only thing that has gotten rid of my acne and keeps it away. I'm 19 and have been struggling with acne since I was like 12, so this has been my Godsend.
For as long as I can remember, I was the pizza face in my family (AND extended family!). I've used COUNTLESS acne treatments since I was 10 (!!!!). (I've even used the hardcore Accutane drug and it didn't do much for my zits, but it did help with my cystic acne.) Most things just DO NOT work for my skin; and it just does NOT want to work with anything. Boo. :( After years of trying RX only medication, I was advised by my dermatologist to try out Clinique's Acne Solutions line. $60 to try out a three-step system was certainly cheaper than what I was used to shelling out for RXs, so I was up for it.
I use it the product daily (important!)- morning and night (with or without the toner), always before the lotion. I usually wait a couple of minutes before applying the toner (if I use it at all) and lotion, and that's when my skin feels "tight." I think the medication is soaking up all the oils in my skin to prevent acne from forming (I used to be combination/oily prior to using this acne system). It's a bit uncomfortable, but I guess it's a necessary evil.
In my personal case, I saw a difference in a WEEK. My acne slowly faded and after a few months, they just stopped coming in altogether. Overall, I find it worth the try and cannot imagine my daily skin routine without this product. I will say that the three days (on two occasions) I was not able to use the cleanser, two mean cystic acne heads the size of a nickel appeared. Both cysts stayed on my face, buried deep under the surface of the skin for almost two months. (Even with nightly exfoliation and following my regular skin care regimen.) So I think for you to get the full effect of the product, you must use it morning and night without fail.
I've been using this diligently for over two years now and I'm still in love (even with the cystic acne setback). I no longer use any RX acne medicatione!
_____________
Pros:
- clears acne QUICKLY (although results may vary?)
- keeps face clear
- feels drying and can make skin feel "tight"
- one bottle lasts for at least 2-3 months
Cons:
- if not used regularly, cystic/acne appear and stay for long periods of time
I went to Clinique to have a skin assessment because I have sensitive skin and I broke out after trying Olay Total Effects. I always knew I had sensitive skin and I know Clinique products are hypoallergenic. I was suggested to try their Acne Solutions products. I had the complete set from cleansng foam, toner, moisturizers, scrubs. Although I like the cleansing foam, it didn't seem to do any difference with my breakouts. My skin does feel clean after washing with this. I find the foam okay to use, but is it really economical? I repurchased again but I will not repurchase for the 3rd time. Now use cetaphil as recommended by my dermatologist with Neostrata.
