I used to use EOS shaving cream, which was pretty good, but decided to try Aveeno when I ran out. Boy, was it a good idea. I love the barrier it provides for my skin, & I haven't suffered from in-grown hairs or razor burn for months. I definitely will be buying this again... hope it never gets discontinued! *knock on wood continued >>
this product did absolutely nothing for me. i had high hopes based on the reviews and my overall liking for the Aveeno brand. i'm prone to in-grown hairs and i was looking for a product that would provide a nice glide for the razor. when it comes to shave creams...i prefer gels. they provide a thicker barrier and adhere to the leg. the Aveeno product is a foam and i feel it doesn't provide enough protection and barrier for the razor. I would have to use a TON to get a decent spread. also, the can will rust in the shower! my can rusted around the spout causing the cream to clog...and when some did come out, i wasn't really wanting to put rusty cream on my body. i dunno, i was highly disappointed...i've had better results with body wash. definitely not worth the $7+ i paid for it
This is an essential for me. If I try shaving w/o it, or w/ a different brand my legs get super itchy. It's very odd because it never gets a rash or anything, just itches like crazy. As long as I use this I don't have that problem, and like the reviewer before me I find that I actually need to shave less when I use it.

Love this product. I love the texture, the smell, the way that the positively smooth shave gel actually makes me SHAVE LESS! *Yup, after 1 month of use, I've noticed I only need to shave every 4 days instead of every 3* I so recommend this product!!!
I bought this in late summer because I ran out of my previous bottle of shaving gel. I stopped shaving during the winter so it stayed in my shower for a few months. I needed it right before my trip to florida during the winter, and the packaging rusted and stopped pumping out gel! This will rust if you have a humid bathroom. No likey.
I have never used shaving creams due to my sensitive skin, I always used soap because the skintimate, gillete, etc. irritated me, but I tried this awhile ago and it is great! It smells nice and it prevented razor bumps and has a very nice consistancy. A great shaving cream!
I have itch-prone, sensitive skin, and this shaving gel has worked the best for me of all I've tried (including other drugstore brands and Philosophy's blue one). It doesn't break me out in a rash. It protects me from the blade. It gives a thick coating of foam.
One lippie off for the gross residue it leaves on my bathtub. You'll need to clean the tub that more frequently.
(On the plus size for Philosophy's, didn't leave the scumminess, but it made me itch slightly.)
A good product and worth trying if you have sensitivities or like a thick, protective foam from a little gel.

I suffer from razor bumps because all the other shaving creams have fragrance or something in it that just doesn't agree with my skin. I have SUPER sensitive skin... I am prone to razor bumps in my bikini zone, armpits, and sometimes my legs. I love Aveeno's shaving cream because it really helps prevent the severity of bumps. The smell is a little "too natural" and weird, but it doesn't stick to you all day. I'm always buying this!
I like the shaving gel. Compared to others it does do it's job in keeping razor bumps away. I would repurchase for this reason. However, I find the oatmeal scent slightly nauseating. It smells more like play-doh or clay IMO.
