This cleanser is amazing! I have pretty good skin, but it does get oily with blackheads, and this really helps clear them away. It smells very refreshing and citrusy and gently exfoliates so my skin is left super smooth. It's not exactly cheap...I got a 4oz jar from ebeauty.ca for $33...but it works so it's great value!

I have purchased this product twice in the past, loving it but then fancied trying other cleansers, nothing has compared to this. It's so fresh smelling, excellent cleanser and exfoliator and leaves your skin super smooth and balanced. Bit pricey but lasts ages and glass jar is a pain in the shower with wet hands!!

This face scrub is amazing! The more water you add the less it scrubs. It is a sugar base scrub. It turns into a white creamy cleanser and it smell Fantastic. Also I have sensitive/ dry skin and it hasn't bothered me at all. I only use it in the A.M. But It makes my face soooooo soft. You could try a trial size and you would see why I love it soo!

I have very sensitive skin and to be honest it is a little harsh for everyday use, my skin ends up quite dry, red & irritated. But for my once a week mini facial I find it terrific... it leaves my skin feeling really fresh and soft! continued >>

I have been struggling to find a cleanser that I really liked (and that worked for my skin) for a very long time. After an unsuccessful few months using the Clarisonic Mia with Spectro Jel, which still left me with oily skin and flaky patches around my forehead and chin. Not to mention the uneven skin tone and blackheads, I used a small sample size version of this that I find lying around and fell in love! Lots of people are bitching about it being abrasive, just rub it between your hands before applying it to your face. This is an exfoliating daily cleanser, if you don't want a bit of exfoliation, don't buy it. The majority of the sugar granules completely disintegrate before they really have a chance to exfoliate, which I prefer, since I use a different exfoliator once a week that is a lot more effective anyways. It has the most heavenly lather, it's very rich and creamy, and it leaves my skin sweet smelling and clean. It has obliterated the nasty dry/flaky spots, completely gotten rid of my oiliness, and I noticed a huge improvement in the blackheads. My complexion is near flawless looking, because it evens my skin tone so amazingly. I recommend this to people with combination skin, or redness, because it has worked wonders for me. Love it!
However, I took a lippie off for the price. $36 CAD???? It's crazy to say the least, but oh well. And the glass jar can be a little scary to use in the shower.

It's got linalool and limonene in it now. Ingredients list has changed big time.What gives? Last I checked, these weren't the most natural ingredients out there, but Suki claims they are derived from citrus fruits. Just because something is derived from a natural food, that DOES NOT make it okay to put on your skin!! Limonene is used to kill fleas on dogs. I'm sad Suki. I used to love your products, but what went wrong?

I really love this product - and several other SUKI products.
I use it in the morning because the scent of it picks me up!
I only use it twice a week - because I have dry sensitive skin and because that simply is sufficient.
I do wish it would be a lot cheaper though, then I would use it all over!

i loved the smell of this product....it reminded me of a box of lemonheads...lol! it left my skin feeling smooth but it broke me out horribly.

This is an amazing product. An all natural exfoliater for the face. The lemongrass and the sugar granules provide a hardy texture to exfoliate the face with. A little bit goes a long way. This also keeps an oily face at bay. If you have t-zone prone skin like me, I would suggest to use this once every 3 days on your t-zone. It clears your face within 2-3 weeks. I'm already on my 4th jar. It might be a bit on the pricey side, but hey, its going on your face, absorbed by your skin, into your body.

I got this in my birchbox and I must admit that after day one I love it. Its so soothing and smells great. The sugar just melts away and smells fantastic!

I've been using this for a few years and it's brilliant. My skin is prone to dermatitis and a lot of exfoliators tend to bring it out, but this one doesn't. It's also cleared up my blackheads and leaves skin really bright. I'd recommend this to anyone with oily/combination/dull or sensitive skin.

I've used it for at least 3 years and it is wonder to my skin. My big black nosedots has disappered and my skin is more balanced then before.
I use it every morning in combination with Sukí Concentrated Nourishing Toner.

I started using the Suki exfoliating cleanser about two months ago, along with several of the other product lines. My skin has never looked better....my friends are telling me that I am looking very different and they don't even know that I am using it....the usual comment is "What are you doing! You look 20 years younger!"
I read some of these other reviews and I have to say I strongly disagree. This is a fabulous product and if it's too scratchy, just put it in the palm of your hand first and mix it with water before you put it on your face. Then, once it's on your face, massage it in well with more water and leave it on for a minute or two. Finish up with one of the Suki toners and moisterizers and the results are amazing!

This was horrible. I am so glad i only got a sample. It foamed well so i was surprised how come such a rich foam doesn't remove any make-up AT ALL. Mixing lemongrass oil with sugar and selling it for 30$ is a bit unreasonable. When i was rubbing my palms together as instructed it felt like it's ripping off my skin. If it feels so stripping for my hands, what to speak of a face! It was inconvinient and unpleasant lathering it in my hands till all the sugar parts dissipated so i could finally apply the foam to my face. After applying it 2 times in a row without any effect, i washed my face with another cleanser. Waste of money

This is definitely too harsh as a daily cleanser. My rating is for it to be a weekly exfoliator. I started by using it daily but by the 3rd day my face started peeling and feeling rough so I stopped. Must say that it really does slough away the dead cells on the skin, making it super smooth to touch! Tip if the granules are too rough for the face - dissolve it first with some water, it will become more fine and softer to the skin. Loving the lemongrass scent!

Smells great (like a fresh lemon), and cleanses/exfoliates well. Ingredients are great. Cleanses well, removes makeup, exfoliates and doesn't dry skin. I have semi-sensitive oily skin and this works for me.
It can be harsh as other reviewers have noted: you can lather it in your hands to eliminate the exfoliating effect, or apply it full strength to increase the exfoliating effect - very versatile.
I'm not a fan of the packaging and find the pot is sometime hard to scoop the cleanser out of.
Recommended - will repurchase.

This product is really difficult to like. I haven't tried it without 'melting' the sugar with water, because my skin would never be able to tolerate this if I did. I'm giving it a 3 because it does well for my decollete area, but so do a lot of cheaper cleansers. My personal opinion is unless you can fuel your car with the oil on your face, then I wouldn't recommend this. This will over-exfoliate your skin, and if you use retinols, then it will, or could, sting. I use retin-A, and my skin can barely tolerate this. It gets irritated, and it's due to over-exfoliation. Don't even consider using a Clarisonic with this stuff. It does work into a medium foam, but...you will for sure over-exfoliate! I cannot imagine using this as a daily cleanser. I do like Suki products, but just not this one. I don't like the packaging, either. I understand that it's a scrub, but couldn't she package this in a metal tube, similar to how Weleda packages their products? I hate jars, and I hate glass jars more than plastic jars. If you drop it, it's gone and you wasted $30. This product is probably good for teenage skin that isn't inflamed with acne, but not for aging or mature skin. Be very careful using this if you decide to buy it. It smells wonderful! I love that it's organic, and natural, but so is poison ivy, and I wouldn't put that on my skin. Organic and natural doesn't mean it's good for you. Beware, this product isn't for everybody. Buy a sample, and not a full size jar. This isn't a product where a little ges a long way. Whole foods sells this, so ask a SA for a sample. Get a few. Suki sells generous samples on her website but shipping is a rip-off.

I really do love how Suki's products are very natural and smell incredible! I know a lot of people LOVE this foaming cleanser, but I did not at all. The cane sugar crystals are way too harsh for my dry and sensitive skin! Even when I followed the directions (mixed the cleanser with water in my hand), it still felt like it was ripping my face off!! I have no idea how people can use this as a cleanser every day, I was trying it just as an exfoliater once a week, and even then it was too much. :(
Only positives are the packaging is very nice and the smell is delicious!
Maybe people with more oily/less sensitive skin will have better luck with this product.
In the meantime, I am loving FaceNaturals Acai Berry Antioxidant Facial Scrub. :)
