I really love that they have their 5/$26 deals on cotton panties only because I genuinely love the styles and lace--and I can never get around to buying from any other place for my panties (tried Target, Kohl's...no bueno for me!). Almost 80% of my panties are VS/Pink line. I think the VS cotton panties are more higher quality than their Pink cotton, because I've noticed that my Pink panties unravel, fade, or just don't look good more quickly than my VS panties, so I tend to buy from the VS line. I have a couple of their Pink bras and I feel they are a little flimsy compared to VS bras, and so I am more geared onto buying VS bras haha. I recently got hired at a VS store too, so I got to try all sorts of lingerie. I love their 3/$33 deal as well, even though it's a little pricier than their 5/$26, I'm obsessed with the feel and the lace. I recently got their Dream Angels & Very Sexy bra and am glad to say that I am very satisfied with both. I will probably get the Bombshell soon as it does wonders & makes me feel more proportionate. Other than that, VS can be somewhat of a hit-or-miss because of their panties, but I feel that a lot of their products are of good quality.
I have a C cup now (bought and paid for lol) and I decided that since I finally had boobs, I needed a sweet bra to "enhance" my investment ;-) I think I paid around $50 for one bra! Gawd!!! Anyway, I oh so carefully hand washed it and babied it like I do my car. Well, my amazing husband did my laundry after my back surgery (oh the irony haha) and it turned into a stringy, bent mess! WTF?!?! Never ever ever will I pay that much for a bra that as soon as it hits the front loader, it becomes something unrecognizable! grrrr It's back to BX and Walmart bras for these ta ta's.
I have bought multiple bras from Victoria's Secret over a few years and I have to say washing them is a pain in the butt. I have to wash them every two weeks and they only last me two years at the most. I am not blessed in the chest as some would say and I loved going into the store and trying on several in their dressing rooms. In there, I actually had some cleavage and they fit perfectly, as soon as I got home, in real light and adjusting it myself, they are a boob death trap where wiring pokes out and stabs me and the straps slip down over and over again. Very annoying that I can't notice that in a dimly lit, small dressing room where you can't stand back enough to really look in the mirror. I also have several panties from there, the only reason I have these was from free give always and presents. I love the lace detail on a few but again, after two washes, they do not last and I find my new sexy panties being thrown into the period panty pile. As for yoga pants and t shirts, sizes are never right and adds to the frustration of small chest syndrome and superior in the posterior. They only go to a size L in most things so my self esteem takes a hit everytime I go in. It also doesn't help with a picture of Adriana Lima staring at me looking super hot in a small, while I go off in search of something that fits. Needless to say, I will not go back unless it is for perfume
Once upon a time, way back in the 80's and 90's, Victoria's Secret had pricey, but excellent quality flannel pjs. They had excellent everything, but this review is about their pjs. They were thick and butter soft, would last you for years and years. The ones they make now are thin and not so soft. They even look like irregulars, because of the poor stitching. Honestly, the quality is comparable to what you'd find in the Dollar Store, no joke. Not a surprise, as they're made in China. Think sweatshops, people. I'm done with supporting this brand.
I give VS a great ranking for their bras and swimsuits. Their bras make my 32B boobs look better than any other bra ever and without having to add a bunch of padding, what have you. Getting a proper fitting there really kind of changed my life because all my clothing looked so much better with the right fitting bra and I had a lot more confidence. I also love their bikinis, which are very flattering and there are tons of different style options. I've bought a few of their clothing items (sweaters, dresses) over the years, which are generally fine, but not really worth the high prices because much of it is sort of basic. I've also bought a couple pairs of Colin Stuart shoes, which I always wore for years until they broke. However, everything I've bought and liked there, I've bought on sale. I think $55 is insane for a bra! Hell, I think $40 is insane for a bra! I wait until the semi-annual sale and stock up then on $12 and $19 bras in the final days. If you aren't picky about your color, you can definitely find options on clearance. I also buy my swimsuits during the swim clearance and usually pay about $19 per piece of bikini. Paying full price for VS is crazy and something I just can't afford to do!
I'm hot and cold when it comes to VS. Their PINK panties are pretty cute, but extremely overpriced and flimsy. I only buy them when they're on sale 7 for $26 and I have a $10 off coupon, and even then it's hard to find a pair that doesn't have 'SPANK ME' written across the butt, or is made entirely out of lace. I'm not a prude, but the sayings are obnoxious and the all lace is uncomfortable. I will say I love their boy shorts but they seem to be harder to find. Overall I can find better quality panties for cheaper on the clearance rack at Macy's.
As far as their other PINK clothes go, their yoga pants are a holy grail item for me. I love them. I love them so much I don't mind paying $35 per pair for them. They are durable, don't get stretched out, and are pretty flattering to my curvy shape. I have found that a comparable brand is Jenni, which can be found at Macy's for about $10-$15 a pair cheaper, and they are just as cute and well made.
Now, onto their regular clothes and bras. Both are not very good quality, and are very expensive for what they are. Their bras fall apart with normal wear and gentle cycle washings, and their clothes honestly look like something I could find for cheap at WalMart. Nothing against WalMart, but I don't appreciate paying so much for so little quality. On the plus side, the things i have ordered have both fit. Their swimsuits are fine and you can get great deals on swimsuits online.
I like their bras and underwears. As for the clothing items, they r a huge disappointment. All the clothes I have ordered online hasn't lived up to its quality Nor looked same as it did online
I purchased many times from VS in the past few years, that was the time I was in a foreign country and the brands were limited there. In my experience, probably 8 out of 10 items that I purchased from VS had disappointed me. Main reasons were often the size doesn't fit (I know it happens all the time with online shopping) but also the quality is nothing like what I expected. They only show you the most beautiful people wearing the well fitted clothes in a perfect photo shoot that is taken by a professional photographer.... of course every thing on their website will look its best, but never in the real life. Although the price usually are not too expansive, but it's still over priced for the quality. I purchased 4 sets of swimming suits (which they are famous selling for) and 2 of them were returned because they don't fit properly, though I kept the other 2 sets, I was still not happy with the quality. I only kept them because I desperately needed some swimming suits for the summer beaches and not many options are available in the local stores. I got rid of them as soon as the summer was over. The colors faded due to the sea water and they were also very uncomfortable to wear. The clothes I have purchased were often in very poor quality too and don't fit well so I ended up returning or exchanging pretty much for every order that I made (the international shipping costs were also ridiculously expansive, which added to an even higher price for my returning orders. Every single pair of shoes I got from them hurt my feet like hell and again because of the poor quality :( I'm disappointed over all with VS, now I'm living in Canada and there are a lot more brands North America can offer, I don't think I will ever purchase on VS website again, may be only in their lingerie store where I can see the actual quality and size.
I love Victoria's Secret. I buy from there all the time and a lot of my clothes are from there. They are a little pricey but the quality is great. I've had t-shirts from there that are years old and still look very good. I have some beautiful dresses from there too that the quality is just perfect. My only complaint is the price, it can be expensive its too easy to pick a couple things and suddenly your total is in the hundreds. BUT all their products are very cute, sexy, iconic and overall good quality.
Also I wanted to add that their sports bra is the best I have ever tried. It fits perfectly, the cups hold everything in place so much better than any other one out there. Suddenly I am seeing cup-style sports bras everywhere but a few years ago I could never find them. VS was the first place I found one. As a large breasted girl in the Army, I need a good sports bra. I would recommend it to anyone.
Ive been shopping at VS for years ...ALL of my bra's are from VS because they are the only ones that fit me perfect and they are SUPER cute and great quality. I still have my first VS bra I ever got and it still looks brand new. I also get all my panties from vs from thongs to bikinis to boyshirts..they have never ripped or got holes, the only time I end up throwing them away is just because I had them for TOO long haha.
I love their makeup and perfumes and lotions, great quality although I think their perfumes are overpriced (id rather buy chanel!)
Ive never worn their clothing before so I cant review that.
