Happy for Men is one of those scents that actually do put you in a good mood. It's simple, fresh and lasts. I've always liked the fact that it is an uncomplicated smell - I can't stand ones that are like being hit with a giant flower petal! I'll always keep Happy as part of my collection for days when I just want to step up my scent a notch without being overbearing.

Very distingushable. This is a men's cologne that is not easily mistaken for any other fragrance out there I can think of. This is an odd one, for sure, and worth trying if an unordinary twist in a fragrance is something You like.
The official, listed top notes of Kaffir Lime, Kalamanzi Fruit, Mandarin, and Yuzu may hint which direction the oddity takes here.

Ok, Love it! Not too strong, not too fem. nor too oriental, or woody. I always have a bottle on hand. This is my use it anytime and anywhere type of fragrance - so is Curve for men. But Clinique Happy for men is the cleanest smelling... very long lasting, but not overwelming fragrance I have found. I know the same fragrance does not work on everyone, but this one works for me! Women Love it on me!

I bought it for my brother, he didn't approve of it -he prefers strong fragrances- and now I'm using it! It is definitely too light for men, but it is ok for me!!!

I love, love, love this on my husband! Both of us find most colognes to be too musky and overpowering on the woodsy notes, so the mostly-citrus makeup of this scent is perfect! True, it's rather "young" smelling and requires quite a few sprays to get any staying power, but I think it's more complex and classy than "Hollister" and "Abercrombie" colognes.

Blah!!!!!!! So many words fill my mind when I think about this citrus trash, Clinique should stick with 3 step not men's fragrances, this is the worst in the world, it smells so chemical

Yes ladies I know this is a fragrance for men but after trying it at a Clinique counter I was hooked. I was given a sample to take away for my husband to try and he didn't get a look in. Once that was done I went back and bought a bottle - for myself. I find the women's line to be a bit teeny for me and this is a perfect scent. It's not too masculine and has some herb undertones. My husband think it smells pretty sexy on me. Mmmm perhaps that says more about my husband than me!

Okay, gals, I hate to break your heart. This fragrance for men DOES smell good. But, like Abercrombie, Hollister and Tommy, this is a fragrance for your 17 year old nephew's birthday . . . not your 20 or 30 something boyfriend.

Seriously, if you man is wearing this, consider "dropping" the bottle and buying him something more his age.

I experienced this on my friend the other night, and I've been thinking about him ever since. He looks like a bottle of Kenneth Cole Black- tall, dark, and handsome-a real smooth operator, so imagine my suprise when he told me he was wearing Clinique's Happy for Men! This is a brisk but mellow, citrus scent-almost too clean, but on him it had a smooth, harmonious texture. I don't think everyone can wear this, it must meld into the chemistry just right. I can also see it being used as a unisex scent.
