I've had this nail color since it originally came out (which I think was couple years ago) and it's still perfectly usable- hasn't dried out at all. I've always been complaining that Chanel polishes chip like crazy, but if you use top coat it's really not that bad AT ALL.
And, of course, you can't go wrong with Chanel- sophisticated beautiful colors:)

What a lovely color. Ruby Slippers is my new Classic metallic red that I wear with most anything - although I am careful not to chip my manicure too quickly as Ruby Slippers is increasingly difficult to come across.
It is a lovely classic shimmery red, not too different from OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress or Essie Scarlett O'Hara.
As with most shimmery Chanel colors, the quality is good, but to make the polish last, make sure you use a good top and base coat.

i'd usually stray away from reds because i never found a color that looked good on me until i found this! it's a deep ruby color that isn't too shimmery. it's very nice for a pretty, polished, & sophisticated look.

Favorite polish & color ever! I wear this in the summer and winter - toes & fingers. I always get compliments when wearing Ruby Slipper:) The price is mental but I am willing to pay for the quality. Also, it really does smell horrible - I have never noticed such an offensive smell with other polishes, several people who have done my manicures have commented on the awful smell. Fortunately, the smell does not linger more than a day:) I have purchased several bottles of this and will continue to do so!

Ruby Slippers is a deep ruby red with a nice shimmer. There is no glitter in this polish which gives it a refined, sophisticated look. VERY nicely done! Great Chanel quality as usual lasting a month as a pedi.

This is a beautiful garnet red with a slight metallic sheen to it (classy, not cheap looking). Chanel polishes are long lasting... a pedicure with a Chanel polish can last a month without a chip! This color is a modern take on the classic red, a little deeper, with that gorgeous sheen. Perfect for winter, summer..whenever, wherever. Flattering on everyone and makes all sandals look super-sexy! Worth the splurge as an additional to anybody's nail polish collection (makes an awesome gift too!)

My favorite red! Yes, similar to OPI's Waitress, but I like this better- it is a slightly brighter ruby red than Waitress's more burgandy-red tone.

Gosh, maybe I bought a bad bottle or something... I am returning this polish to Sephora, though. It took forever to dry, and smudged from my sheets seven hours after my pedicure. It chipped on my big toe less than a day later. The dazzle is gone, and the color looks dull. This is my first Chanel polish, and I doubt that I would buy another. I wasted a pedicure on this.

One of my favorite reds. Ruby Slippers is a shimmery, sparkly red - just like Dorothy's infamous shoes!

It goes on smooth, doesn't take too long to dry and last for days!

Great color; stays on FOREVER! I paint my toes and it lasts for weeks and weeks.
