This product, did NOT work for me. I would never buy it again! It is a waste of money. I have been using it for 2 months now and it honestly, did not work at all. My acne is still there, just like it was 2 months ago. After use, my face just felt heavy. There wasn't any feeling of a clean touch to the face. I don't know, how it would work for you though....

When using this product do not discontinue use after the first week and decide its not working. Wait a few week's for best results. This product is at a reasonable price and the smell is not terrible. I warn you to only use on the face and neck.

I used to use this face wash as a teenager before Clearasil changed their look and formula, and it didn't work for me so I moved on. While staying at my in-laws they had this in their bathroom so I used it as a general cleaner to get my makeup off and clean my face for the night (since I forgot mine at home). It smelled so good and made my face feel so smooth. I have been using Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub which has worked okay but severely dries out my skin. I have switched back to using the Clearasil and it's been great. I have a bad habit of squeezing closed comedones which usually leads to a bad, angry red pimples. This dries out the pimples without drying out my skin. I love it!

I like this cleanser. I didn't experience any adverse reactions to it. I think it helps to clear my breakouts. I'm not too thrilled about its ingredients & will look for a closer-to-natural alternative but no real complaints about this stuff. continued >>

This stuff had been sitting on my shelf for awhile, I had used it and found it to be nothing special until I read reviews on here saying to give it time. So I gave it another fair try and a couple weeks of consistent use later I'm happy to say that it is clearing up my mild acne. My skin is a lot smoother and clearer. As long as this continues to work, I will continue to buy it.

I was losing hope in this product since I'm always looking for fast results for everythingggggggg, but it was so worth the wait, because my skin is SOO clear. I had a whole mess of ugly big whiteheads on my nose and parts of forehead, and now their all gone, and my skin is so smoothhh. Just wait a couple weeks for it, it defintely works <3 continued >>

Love this!!!!! I recently got off my meds and this is a life saver, my skin is the clearest it has been in a long time. I use this with the clearasil ultra night lotion. I can't use bp anymore, I have to use sa and this has been a life saver. It has castor oil in it so I was a little scared to use it, but it is awesome!!! I break out with everything and this has cleared me up!!!!! Some say they can't stand the smell. I love it!! Besides, the smell goes away , so who cares?

I can't tell if this product is working or not. It does it's job of cleaning my face, but I don't know if I see a difference in acne. A lot of product comes in the bottle which is good. However, I don't think I will purchase this again.

In the throes of early teenage acne, I turned to this reassuring-looking bottle convinced that my mother's recommendation to stick with natural was baloney. She was right. As usual. When I first tried this, my skin cleared almost immediately -my skin does that pretty much any time I vary. Within a month, though, my acne was worse and had gotten more severe. I went from a few light pimples on my nose and cheeks to deep, red, large whiteheads and dry chapped skin. I went back to natural products and have never looked back. This was far too harsh for my sensitive skin and smells icky anyway.

I absolutely looooove this face wash!! It is very creamy. I love the scent too. It smells clean and refreshing. I use it in the shower and as soon as I open the bottle I can smell it. The packaging is very nice. It looks very modern and fashionable. I normally have oily skin, but right after I wash my face I can tell a difference. My face actually feels clean. It was a little expensive, but definitely worth it!! (:

This is such a great product! It got rid of my redness on my cheeks,somewhat cleared blackheads, and it gets rid of acne by the next morning! I use it at night to remove my foundation and sometimes in the morning. I loved it so much that I told my best friend that she should try it because she has horrible acne on her forehead and nothing will get rid of it. She used it one time not even 15 minutes later her forehead started looking better! I reccommended this!

My journey with Clearasil first started out when my friend reccommended it to me. I then bought it and started to use it. First of all i love the smell and when i washed my face it felt smooth and fresh. As the days went by i notced that my acne improved..but after a while I didn't work anymore and it broke me out. The initial use was great but in the long run I really didn't like this product. Personally, I think it's a waste of money.

This is a review for the Clearasil Ultra Cleansing Cream Wash.
I tend to break out really badly when the weather starts changing- I'm talking awful cystic acne, but just on my chin, and nothing seems to be able to combat it without irritating the heck out of the rest of my face or causing me to break out in other places too (I'm looking at you, Clean and Clear Daily Pore Scrub...ugh). Last summer I used a Clearasil cream wash (from the StayClear line I believe) that I really enjoyed, but it was too drying to continue to use into the fall, and I couldn't find it when spring started creeping up and my skin decided to start freaking out, so I picked up the Ultra in it's place. Anyway, backstory aside, I really enjoy this cleanser. It has a fresh scent, lathers up really nicely and removes all of my makeup. I use it at night (I can't use it twice a day or I find my skin gets really itchy- it's definitely because of the SA) and use Spectro gel in the morning, and my skin has honestly never been better! I stopped breaking out, and the stubborn blemishes I had before that the Spectro gel and BP lotion weren't able to tackle disappeared quickly and haven't come back since (my skin has a tendency to always break out in the same place over and over...I thankfully don't have scarring...yet). The only thing I don't really like about this cleanser is that it kind of separates in the tube, which is why I deducted for packaging- you have to shake it really well before you use it, or you just get a clear liquid that leaks out when you squeeze it rather than the cleanser. I'm not sure what that's all about, but I feel like a pump bottle might eliminate that. I also like that although it's an acne cleanser, it doesn't dry my skin overnight and leave my face an oil slick in the morning like SO many cleansers I've tried over the years have. I would recommend this cleanser to anyone who doesn't have overly sensitive skin and is looking for something to tackle stubborn breakouts.

This product is making my skin better as of now. I've noticed my oily skin has drastically cut down with this wash. The only things I don't like about this product is that it smells nasty, it's not oil free, and it's a bit pricey. But overall, I'd buy it again and I recommend it to those with oily skin.

This is probably the best BHA-based cleanser I've ever used. This and Acne Free face wash are probably the only cleansers that have had a noticeable affect on my skin just from washing. They don't clear everything up, but you can't really expect your acne to go away only by washing your face. This is a helper -- it helps me keep my skin under control. I don't use it every day however, because it can dry your skin out. I also really like that this stuff has no scrub in it. The only downside to this product is that for some reason they thought it was a great idea to make it smell like men's deodorant. It smells absolutely heinous. I wish companies would realize that something can smell like fruit or flowers and still work on acne -- no need to make it smell like medicine or toxic waste.

This is my all time HG face wash!
I've used this since the 7th grade and have never had acne, and every time I stop using it I seem to regret it and get a little breakout and come back here. My friends ask me how I get my skin to look good, I always point them towards Clearasil :D
In the winter I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser in the morning b/c it's quick and it doesnt lather- and i'm NOT a morning person.
At night I remove makeup and use Clearasil!
Recipe for great skin! Definitely try it. The old formula smelled the same and looked the same; worked the same too. But It definitely lathered more than this does... I don't know why :( But I really liked it.

Boy was i stupid for ever doubting this product. TRY TRY TRY!!! :D I've recommended this to ALL my friends.

I used this for a year or two up until 3 months ago when I got bored with it and switched to some "fun" cleansers... lol. I never had acne, still don't... BUT when I stopped using this I got small bumps on my forehead (skin colored, barely visible...but they still bother me), I also get small pimples here and there one one side of my face. I'm using up the face wash I have now and going RIGHT back to clearasil.

I started using this only like two weeks ago and all my clogged chin pimples are gone. All I have left are the spots from the pimples, like little red spots. It is seriously a miracle product for me. Before I was using Neutrogena and some Clean and clear face cleaners and I think they made me break out more. I wash twice a day and it isnt drying my skin, but I have really oily skin. To me it doesn't smell that bad either like I see on some other reviews.

Yikes! This thing broke me out within days! It left my skin super dry, red and itchy. I don't even get dry skin from 5% benzoyl peroxide but this made me scaly dry. This went to the bin :(
