I had such high hopes for this cleanser. My skin is dry, sensitve and prone to blackheads. This cleanser left such a film on my skin, my skin felt like it couldn't "breathe". I even tried using a wet baby wash cloth to remove the cleanser but that didn't seem to help. I will not repurchase.

This was a terrible cleanser for my skin. It left a film which no amount of rinsing would take off and then it made my skin sting for hours afterwards whenever I used it. Ive never experienced such a horrid sensation before with a cleanser! Binned!

I really love this cleanser and my skin does too. It is very gentle and moisturizing- feels more like a very rich lotion than a cleanser. It removes makeup relatively well though i have noticed that it takes two washes to remove heavier eye makeup. For that reason, I have to agree with the previous review who said that she thinks she goes this product pretty fast. Leaves skin feeling very soft and moisturized in fact, I might even say that it leaves something of a film on the skin, so this product is probably best for someone who has dry skin or for someone who wants extra moisture in the winter. I like the packaging, it's very simple and nothing is wasted because its in a bottle that has a cap with a nozzle. The only negative thing I have to say is that this cleaner can be very hard to find. Blue Mercury and Nordstrom, which carry the MB line do not stock this cleanser at all and Ulta only carries it in the 6 oz size. So you have to mail order th 16 oz ($20) but that's cheaper than the "Yes to...." line and MB usually offers free shipping on orders over $30 every now and then. If you buy two bottles at a time, it's not that bad.
Overall, a good basic cleanser for someone who wants to add extra moisture to their skincare routine.

Really fantastic cleansing milk! I have really sensitive skin, I break out so easily and this has not caused any problems at all. It has made my skin so so soft and it does a good job of wiping away all my make up. One negative thing it that I don't think the bottle lasts very long, especially if you wear make up often, so it could get expensive... but it really is a nice cleanser. It has a pleasant smell and really leaves your skin feeling moisturised after using it.

This is an excellent cleanser for my very sensitive skin. My skin is so soft upon removing the cleanser with a tissue. I have very reactive and sensitive skin. I cannot use products with fragrance. I'm glad I discovered the Mario Badescu line. I have found many of the products to be formulated specifically for my dry sensitive skin. I also like the packaging, very basic and the price sure beats what I was spending on Clarins!! I highly recommend this product for dry sensitive skin!

I bought this to use as an eye makeup remover and it's fantastic. What i do is rinse out a baby wipe under water so that it dosn't sting my eyes, then squeeze some lotion onto the wipe and gently rub off. It doesn't sting my eyes but removes the makeup effectively. After using various drugstore/chemist brands that didn't work as well as more expensive brands like Clinique that are only ok i think i've found something i really like. I use it in conjunction with MB Enzyme Cleansing Gel for the rest of my face and the combo is awesome. FYI i probably can't recommend it for really hardcore makeup like Revlon Colorstay but i am using Avon's Wash-off Waterproof mascara and Urban Decay liquid liner and it works a charm. I would love to discover a cleanser that removes heavy makeup without drying the rest of my skin but i don't think this is possible when you think about it! Yes i may be using two products but they will last me twice as long, my next goal is to switch to baby wipes that are biodegradable, i feel so guilty about the wipes going to landfill but i can't give them up (and they're so cheap!)

With winter round the corner, my skin has been acting up again, especially the dermatitis patches on my U-zone. I went into Kit Cosmetics in Australia wanting to buy the glycolic cleanser coz I had good results using glycolic peels recently, but got recommended by the lovely SA to use this to help moisturize the dry patches first, before starting on the glyco cleanser.
I thought this was like any other milk cleansers that I've used, but was pleasantly surprised. Texture is light and spreads easily. It seems to turn to water upon touching the skin. I only used a small amount, but it's sufficient for my face and neck. My skin cannot do without it now, it acts up if I stop using it for 2 days.

This cleanser is actually decent and my dry to very dry skin didn't feel dry or tight afterwards. My only dissapointment was the cleanser didn't have a smell of any sort.

as with all the mario badescu products ive bought, im now hooked. my skin has never caused my problems, i had always been very lucky and people would comment on it (which ill admit was helped by make-up!) but earlier this year my skin was really problematic. its sensitive anyway but was reacting badly to something i was doing, still not sure what but possibly my cleanser (clinique mild soap) which was too foamy and drying. anyway started using this and now my skin is pretty much back to what it was. really gentle but really does the trick, and now my skin has cleared up and rarely get any spots. cant recommend this and mario badescu in general enough. never mind will i buy it again-itll be my cleanser for life!

This very gentle cleanser with carnation and rice oil is really good for taking off makeup. I actually wash it off rather than tissue it off so that I get most of it off and then can apply moisturizer. The directions say to tissue off and then follow with toner, but I use it differently (as explained above) and it still works very well for my combo acne-prone skin. It conditions the skin as it takes off even stubborn eyeliner, glitter, and mascara off my eyes, as well as foundation and everything else, without leaving my skin dry or irritated at all. It's very mild, and I really like the natural ingredients it contains. Mario Badescu's products have turned around my skin, for a low price too. This Cleansing Milk with Carnation and Rice Oil is one of my favorite Mario Badescu products to date. I also love the fact that his products are not tested on animals. So many pluses! :)

I have just bought this,as I needed a rich, creamy night cleanser. This is perfect! Leaves my skin so soft and smooth.Doesn't cause breakouts and is one of the best tissue-off cleansers I have tried.Great for dry/combo skin.

this is a non-foaming creamy cleanser that leaves a kind of oily film afterward. This is not a bad thing for extra dry skin in the winter time! It doesnt seem to clog pores or cause breakouts, and it does get rid of makeup, so I would recommend!
