This was an impulse buy and I almost thought - gonna regret this. But I am shocked to find out how often I use this eye liner!
It is a lot of fun and easy to use on the lower eye. Adds a pop of colour and brightens. Very convenient and fast if you are looking to add some fun to everyday quick makeup.
Pleasantly surprized!

If you're looking for teal eyeliner, this one is very good. The color is gorgeous, and it looks so pretty on your lower lash line! However, to get it to show up on my waterline i have to go over it a few times, which is weird, as when i swatch it on my hand it shows up easily. However, the staying power makes up for that, as it is great! By the end of a school day, it will mostly still be on my waterline. There is minimal fading, and my eyeliner looks fresh. I love how it doesn't smudge or smear easily.

I purchased "So There Jade" to go with my Guerlain Perles des mers (Summer 2009) Palette (the aqua color is really close to So There Jade) I really like the color - it could be a little more opaque- and the formula. But the best way to used this color is like Rihanna. I love the effect with a brown-gold palette on the eyelid and used "So there Jade" to rime the lower lashes only.

One of my favorite eyeliners because I think it's just colorful and unique enough without being over the top obvious and it really suits my green/blue eyes and very fair winter skin. I've even worn it to work with Electra on the lid and Aquadisiac in the crease. When I put it on my waterline and lower lash line it makes my eyes pop without being too garish.

So there Jade - oh what a beautiful colour! I always have to think of a mermaid if I use it! ;) I also think it suits every eye colour. I use it as a liner for eyeshadows of the same colour range sometimes, but most of the time I grab it if I want an eyecatcher.
I gave only 4 of 5 lippies, because it takes some lines until the colour shows up on my waterline (I guess that's because of the shimmer), but once it's there it lasts great.

I think I purchased this impulsively. Normally I stick to black eyeliner, or variations of black/brown. This is an iridescent jade/turquoise color that shifts a little in the light. It is a powerpoint, which means dreadful drying and breakage likely to be forseen near the end of its pencil sharpened life. However, it is good for an occasional pick me up under the lower lashline or blended alongside similarly colored shadows. The color isn't going to be as pretty on your eyes as it is swatched against your skin, just a forewarning. I guess there are some creative things I could do with it. I just don't find it great enough to repurchase, sadly.

I've been on a quest to find the ultimate pale pale shimmery jade eyeliner, and well, this isn't it, although So There Jade is a very gorgeous color. It's just NOT "jade". At least not any jade I've ever seen. I was expecting more of a "pale greige" type shade -- a pale pale soft greyed-green with icy silver shimmer. That would have been more of a "jade" to me. Having said that, So There Jade is still a stunning color. I'd call it a "frosty light shade of aquamarine". It's more green than a turquoise would be, yet more blue than a teal would be. Would I call it unique? Not really. I have a similar color (old) from Almay. sigh
I love double lining So There Jade above black or warm brown eye liner (love it with MAC Costa Riche), on my upper lid. This shimmery aqua adds a real punch of color to my eye look, and I don't need any shadow on my lid (aside from a crease color). STJ looks stunning with bronzey brown and plummy brown shadows in the crease (MAC Saddle, MAC Folie, MAC Bronze, etc).
Now...on to search for my pale shimmery true "jade" liner!

i walked into MAC thinking i don't need anything (isn't that always the illusion). I happen to be wearing my latest e/s duo from NARS (Habanera) and while waiting for friends to do their MAC purchases, i thought i would update my look to 'evening' and randomly picked up some MAC testers.
oops, one of the ones was MAC's So There Jade, a beautiful, frosty tealish-green eyeliner, that complements the minty green in Habanera (not the same shade, but definitely bumps up the sexiness). fell in love - the powerpoint pencil was smooth as butter - even better than my Urban Decay collection. The color was a beautiful finish, and it's been 4 hours and still lasting without a smudge.
when i was paying the MAC MA had this liner it on her lower line with a completely neutral e/s look, it popped. perfect. I'd buy it again, but as yet i've never ran out of any eyeliner before buying more/different shades. love this product.
checkout the photo in the product gallery i used the liner for the bottom of the eyes.

Beautiful color. Similar to my Chanel stylo yeux in Jade except this is more metallic. Staying power was disappointing though. Had no lasting power whatsoever in comparison to Chanel stylo yeux, UD 24/7 and even Gosh velvet eyeliners.

This is a beautiful aqua shade with a bit of a sheen. It is creamy but doesn't smudge and it has great lasting power. I love to wear it in my lower waterline as a pop of color with peach or beige eyeshadow on my lid and I think it is just beautiful. It lasts incredibly well in the lower water line. I haven't experienced any irritation with this liner. I will definitely repurchase this and recommend it to my fellow makeup lovers!

This is a very pretty colour. I have black eyes, and the vivid green/teal colour provides a nice contrast. I usually apply white liner to the inner corner of eye and waterline, then use So there Jade on my top eyelid. Paired with a peach bronzer and pink lipgloss, it gives you a very summery, pretty and youthful look. Almost like you should be in Hawaii sipping on magaritas.
A little goes a long way on me, so I doubt I will have to repurchase for a very long time. This eyeliner applies like a dream, is very creamy, and has fantastic staying power considering I am prone to greasy lids. Easily removed without a trace with some Johnson & Johnson's baby oil. continued >>

Of the greens that Mac has I feel this is the best light green for my NC45 skin tone. I use it for undereye lining for my NC45 skin tone. It is too washed out to use to as a liner for your eyelid. The MA said that it was the best replacement for Tin Tin which has now been discontinued. Sigh. But Tin Tin was a lovely more silver liner. It goes on smoothly enough. Doesn't break easily when you sharpen and I use just an ordinary pencil sharpener that I use for my eye pencils. Good for either daytime of night wear.

i love this color, it's really beautiful and creamy, the only thing, it's not super pigmented so you kinda have to go over the line a few times.

I was searching for a teal/blue eyeliner and I came across this one.
Wow, this is so smooth lolz. I think it might be even more smoother than my Prestige one! :O
Love love this colour, got it 2 days ago and I can't stop wearing it because it's so fun to play around with :) Looks awesome with MAC Parrot or Plumage as the 'main' eyeshadow colour :)

i luuuuuuuv this eyeliner! The color is a vibrant, metallic turquoise with a hint of sparkle. I use it with bronze/gold beauty rush (victoria's secret) eyeshadow on the top lid, mascara, and this on my bottom lid for a great beachy look. In the winter i use it with either silver shadow (from body shop shimmer cubes) or dark gray on top. Either way it always adds a little more sparkle to your outfit and makes your eyes look more awake. It draws smoothly and is easy to apply. It doesn't smudge and looks exactly the same when i remove my makeup at night, but it removes easily with baby oil. Defs worth it if ur looking for a little bit more excitement in your usual boring makeup routine.

I just got this e/l last week and have been wearing it everyday so far! I really really like this colour at the moment - it's summer over here in Australia and it's perfect for this season. I've been wearing it with Orb on my eyelid and just mascara for an easy casual look. It's also really nice as a combo with a navy blue e/l, (So There Jade on the inner half of the eye and the navy blue on the outer half). Nice for now but might be a bit of a fad in the long run.....

I like the unique color and the formulation MAC uses in the powerpoint liners! They stay put and come in a good array of colors for any look!
