This is my favorite eyeshadow trio and my favorite color (the taupe color) of all time. Unfortunately, they're no longer making this trio and the taupe color is not available individually. I was able to find one on eBay, but I'll be on the hunt for a close match.

I really love Smashbox shadows. They are richly pigmented, last all day without creasing and blend smoothly and evenly. That being said, the Split image trio is a great nuetral trio with a little punch. You get a shimmery off white highlighter shade thats super pigmented. A shimmery mid toned taupe (kinda like mac coco pigment or satin taupe). Finally for a bit of punch you get a glittery coppery brown shade. Its not too coppery/red but just enough to add some color. Also the glitter is really fine and doesnt fall all over the lids like UD. Overall, a great trio. Retails for $28 and a great quality product.

I love this trio, which is available alone on Smashbox's website, or on QVC as part of the Cover Shot porfolio (a great value). You get a cream with a slight sheen, a shimmery taupe and a shimmery orange-y copper (that looks less shimmery on than in the pan). The formula for these shadows is smooth, long lasting and nicely pigmented. This trio yields tons of pretty and flaterring combinations (I'm an MMM/GGG) and the shadows mix well with other shadows/bronzers, etc. for additional looks. Two thumbs way up. :)
