I used to adore this when I was younger, then I wore it a lot and really went off it...got it for christmas and realised a few of my friends wore it and I quite liked it on them so I decided to try it again. It's so-so, a pretty smell, I actually prefer it after a couple of hours when it dries down to a powdery-ish smell like the one I smelt on my friends (the majority of whom seem to wear this!) and actually really like. But unlike how I used to feel, I don't think there's anything special about this perfume. It is nice and I'll continue to use the bottle, however for the price it's nothing special and I won't be repurchasing. (Plus I'm a bit bored of smelling the same as all my friends!) I do get a lot of compliments while I'm wearing this though.

I really wanted to like this and understand the hype of it all but when it comes down to it, I'll never understand.
Even from the bottle itself, I don't find the smell appealing. I like the tea note though, but I think its the way the patchouli is used in it. The mixture of all the ingredients almost smell grandma-ish to me. When I spray it I find the scent quite annoying throughout the day. I know it's not my body chemistry because it smells the same in the bottle or on a sample card.
I honestly like sweet perfumes, but I don't think I would be able to be taken seriously wearing this. I feel that I'm a respectable 21-year old independent lady, but when I wear this, I feel totally different. This is almost reminiscent to some of the VS scents I have, but to me it feels like a mess of all those scents combined.
The design of the bottle is gentle though, and you can tell that it was a breakthrough idea to make the bottle a shape of a grenade and the staying power is amazing.
The only thing I have left to say is: If you are thinking about purchasing Flowerbomb, think of Flowerbomb in the most literal sense you can imagine.

Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb smells simultaneously very sugary and flowery. I don't think you can find something like that in another perfume which is why I think this perfume is so popular. The smell is so distinctive that when somebody wears it, I can immediately tell that it's flowerbomb without second guessing myself. The staying power is great and I would say it's very strong. I can't say anything about the bottle because I bought the roller instead of the full sized perfume, however, from the pictures that I've seen, it looks really cute. The bottle looks like a granade...a very cute feminine granade. hahaha. I don't know about you guys but I thought that was really funny. I don't wear this perfume everyday, but everyonce in a while I like to wear it, when I want something bold and sweet. Hope this review helped.

This smells so good on my friend but not so good on me. It doesn't even smell like the same perfume. That goes to show how chemistry plays a huge role in picking your perfume. On her, it is a soft, warm, inviting floral. It is perfect for her. However, on me it is a heavy amber and floral mess. I won't buy.

This is my new HG date night perfume!!! I've read a lot of the other reviews and I agree with some of the points others have made. However, some of those cons are pros for me.
The scent IS sickeningly sweet on first application and incredibly strong. After about 30 minutes though, it settles beautifully into something softer and very sexy. I don't think it is cheap smelling and neither do others around me (work professionally around people not afraid to tell you if they dislike your hair/makeup/perfume!)
It IS expensive but it lasts throughout the day and i use the tiniest amount. One light spray is enough for me.
It doesn't smell like flowers - pro for me! regardless of the name, florals aren't always great on me.
Every man who has smelled it on me says it's delicious. Boyfriend, friends, colleagues, relatives.
Cons..
If I spray too much it can give me a headache.
It is pricey

Smells like dark chocolate and musk. A little bit lasts a long time. Which i wish all other designer fragrances would do the same. I don't really like it because it is nothing really special to me. The bottle is pretty to have. It looks like a gem. Wouldn't purchase and is overpriced for what it is.

Someone said this would be more appropriately named as Sugarbomb, and I agree 100%. There's absolutely nothing floral about flowerbomb. The patchouli note is candy sweet, the overall dry down reminds me a tad of lolita lempicka but less complex and more linear. Reminds me of trips to Bath and Body Works where your olfactory is bombarded with a rampage of synthetic candy sweet concoctions. This is a great scent for those who love Pink Sugar, anything by Victoria Secret, BBW scents or teen star fragrances.

It starts with an explosion of cotton candy, and ends at pure cinnamon. For me the cinnamon is so clear, evident and lasting, that i`m surprised i haven`t seen anyone mentioning it here...

I'm very disappointed. I love floral scents and was expecting a magnificent, flowery blend because of the hype surrounding this fragrance. However, I hardly smell any floral scent and it's rather sweet, which I'm not crazy about. I compared it to juicy couture and danielle (two other ultra-sweet scents that were considerably cheaper and now collect dust in my perfume cabinet), and those scents even smell better than the flowerbomb to me (well, the danielle does, the juicy couture is tied with the flowerbomb). I will add the flowerbomb to the drawer of undesirables until I can give them away to one of my teenage relatives that don't mind smelling like candy.

I really like the scent of this fragrance, it's quite sweet, not overwhelming though. I have it both in bottle and roller ball versions and I'm quite happy with it. Though, in one of the reviews below I saw mentioned that they test on animals, which will prevent me from ever repurchasing or giving them a 4/5 in ratings, a 3 though for the scent and quality.

In the perfume encyclopedia, next to the entry for "gourmand", should be Flowerbomb. It is a very sweet, suculent, dessertlike scent. Its name is deceptive, since the floral notes are almost imperceptible under the vanilla and chocolate. It smells delicious, yet it is lacking in depth, though by the drydown you get some nice woody notes. However, the most you smell at akl stages is something like burnt marshmallow. When I was 19, I loved this. Now, though I still love vanilla based gourmands, it is a bit to sweet and simple.
Excellent staying power and sillage.

I've been wearing this for many years, but lately I got really tired of the smell. So now we're taking a break..
But this really is a lovely smell of flowers and I've gotten so many compliments while wearing this. Plus the bottle is so pretty!

I think by my ratings you can tell that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this perfume, ever since I was around 9/10 I became really interested in perfume and fragrances and every time I went into a place like Fenwicks I would spray this and I would take loads of samples and place them around my room because as it is a strong fragrance one or two sprays were enough and it lasted ages. Thankfully for my 13th birthday I was bought the perfume because I always sprayed it but with it being £70 I never dared to buy it. Now I have it I am really cautious to use it as I love it so much, so I only use it if I really need to or if its a special occasion. I still have over half left and love the amber floral tones in it because for a floral heavy perfume its really sweet and its not too overpowering. The only slightly negative thing about it is the pump that you spray it with, its made of a strange lacy material and it frays and gets bent and makes it look unattractive but I found a place where i could buy the normal spray cap for a cheap price and now it looks much much better! It's my favourite by far and Im such a fragrance fanatic! thanks xox

This does not work on me, smells of horrible old lady talcum powder, slightly stale and flat. Very disappointing. I use it as a room fragrance if I am stuck.

This smells a lot like sensual amber from bath and body works. I'm not a huge fan of sensual amber though...

The parfum spray is absolutely wonderful! The scent is that of flowers and reminds me of tropical islands. The Patchouli really adds that extra something to the scent. This is perfect for everyday wear or for special events. The scent is so uplifting and fresh I garauntee your friends will want to know what you are wearing so they can purchase some. Don't tell them though...LOL...keep it a secret so only you smell fantastic! Enjoy and feel wonderful with this awesome perfume.

This is by far one of my absolute favorite perfumes. Very beautiful! the first time I sampled this years ago, it stopped me in my tracks and I couldn't get over how amazing this smelled. The lasting power is great, the packaging is great and the bottle is awesome. It's expensive but definitely worth the price. I've repurchased a few more times since then.

I have several samples of this perfume and I don't know why I never bought a whole bottle. The bottle is gorgeous, I love the nude pink colored granade-shape to reflect the name "bomb". The scent is more like Sugarbomb than Flowerbomb. A really sweet, candy-cotton smelling scent which reminds me a bit of Pink Sugar (without the spicy pepper note) or Jessica Simpson Fancy.
Sometime I will buy a full size bottle of this fragrance as I love gourmand scents and this is definitely it!

I don't get the hype. The bottle is beautiful, but it smells sickeningly sweet. I like sweet smelling perfumes, but Flowerbomb smells cheap. I've heard people say that Flowerbomb is "the sex."
Well, I'm here to tell you that NO, it's not. Not for me, at least. If you're a self-respecting woman in your mid 20's who wants to give off an air of class, elegance, grace, and understated sexiness, don't reach for this. This will make you smell like a high school girl who went overboard with Victoria's Secret strawberries and champagne body spray.
I only gave it 2 stars because of the packaging. It's absolutely gorgeous!
