The formula is VERY moisturizing. A bit greasy, but that's hard to avoid if you really need moisture. I can wash my hands, even in hot water with drying antibacterial soap, and they stay smooth and soft after using this. 4 oz. tube for $9.00 seems fair to me. I use only a dab, so this will last. (As of 12/14/07, this cream is listed at $9, marked down from $14, but I paid $9 several months ago, and haven't ever seen it at $14. This one probably goes on sale often so don't pay $14 for it.) It is strongly fragranced, and the scent lingers on skin, which I normally like, except I got a scent that I don't care for, Lime Sugar. (back when a different scent menu was offered). It was too sweet and cakey, without any citrus freshness. I would definitely buy this again, and the 4 lippie rating has nothing to do with the fragrance, but I hope the other scents do not have the same plastic sweet cake note, because then I'd reconsider. I still have Neutrogena Norwegian Formula in my purse in the winter, since AZW's is too big, but otherwise, I'd use this exclusively in winter.

I love this stuff! I can't believe there are mixed reviews, but oh well, to each her own. The formula is rich and nourishing, instantly improving the feel and look of my hands, yet not so heavy it's greasy. I got this in Marshmallow Ambrosia and while I do love the fragrance, it wasn't what I wanted. I was seeking something more marshmallowy, less fruity (to tell you the truth, the only fruit I could detect in this was lemon); I think the name should reflect that it is more lemon with a subtle hint of sugar or marshmallow. Still, this is so pleasurable to use. I love reapplying this often, not because it doesn't moisturize enough that I must, but because I love how my hands feel and smell when I smooth this on. I'd purchase this again, though first I'd probably check out other fragrances. :)

I like the shea butter formulation--it's emollient although a tad greasy. What I really wanted was to love the scent and the hand cream. I ordered the Blackberry Musk because so many MUAers raved about it in other reviews of AZW lotions/creams. Sadly, for me, it was too much blackberry and not enough musk. I appreciate that AZW sent me a sample of pink sugar with my order. Sadly, I didn't care for that scent much either. I wrote AZW and inquired about scent samples because I believe that the quality of their products is very high, but I just want to select the right scent for me. The scent descriptions at the AZW web site just don't cut it for me. Hopefully I will hear back from them about the scent samples and maybe select some to sample/purchase.

I don't like this product at all. After I purchased it, every time I opened the tube it leaked water. Gross. I was wondering if anybody else had the same problem? Maybe I received a bad batch? Also, I'm not very impressed about the hard packaging, how can you squeeze anything out of it? The fragrance was nice - vanilla cream cake, I probably would try this scent in a different form. I will not repurchase this hand cream, there are much better ones out there.

I got this today in a swap from a wonderful MUAer! The scent I have it in is Yuzu.
Yuzu is a very light and pleasant, almost yummi, citrus scent.
It comes out very thick and luscious and immediately sinks in your skin, leaving it, for a minute or two, a bit greasy (just a little bit!) and then vanishes and leaves you a beautiful silky and smooth sensation.
I really like it a lot and I like its packaging: very convenient and ideal to put in your purse and great if you're travelling.
However I'm not sure about its price...I think it's a bit expensive, especially because, I find it to be IDENTICAL to the Shi kai hand and body lotion in Yuzu. The scent is EXACTLY THE SAME although Shi Kai's texture tends to be a bit more liquid, but it's much cheaper and you get a lot more in a bottle.
Nevertheless, this is an amazing product and since this is my first AZW product ever, I'll def. be trying other things from this brand!

i got a bottle of the shea hand cream from a super kind mua-er in yuzu,my fave scent. i love the texture of this and the way it makes my skin feel! very moisturizing and not greasy. my hands and feet are very happy! ;0)

This is a pretty decent hand cream. It comes in a handy & portable tube, which I like a lot. When squeezed out it is very thick. Rubbed in it is greasy for about a minute or two & then it is completed absorbed. I got this in Vanilla Cream Cake & boy oh boy does it last a long time. continued >>

Intensive hand cream is my HG of hand creams...coconut cream pie and marshmallow fluff are the best and I'm so pleased. I can use this all day long and it never feels greasy. It does last even after washings but I just love the scent so much I put it on constantly. Very thick!!

This would of been ok if it wasnt for the terrible scent. I got it in Marshmallow, what a big mistake. It just smells like a stick of butter once it hits the skin. Yuk. I would never repurchase.

Not sure what I think of this. When you squeeze this out of the tube it's a very thick consistency but when applied to your hands it feels really watery, not the luscious, creamy feel you would expect from a cream like this. It stays greasy for several minutes but does eventually sink in. It does last better than some hand creams I've tried and did withstand a hand washing or two fairly well. This is very heavily scented, so make sure you like the scent that you purchase and be forewarned it could interfere with other scents you are wearing. I have to say this is one of the most tenacious scents of any scented product I've ever used. It lasts and lasts and lasts. I went to bed, woke up and could still smell it. As much as I complain about scents that fade away 10 minutes after you apply them I sort of wish this one would fade a bit over time. Inhaling the smell of vanilla cream cake all day long does start to give me a headache after awhile. This was OK but I don't think I'm wild about it enough to ever repurchase.

I have this in Vanilla Cream Cake and I love it! The consistency at first is a little watery/oily but it sinks in after a few minutes. The scent really does last.

I have this in marshmallow. Smells really good. A bit greasy at first but it does blend in after a few minutes.

Very creamy handcream! I have the Lemon Meringue Pie and it is absolutely delicious. A friend sent it to me and I just love her for it!

I love this hand cream. I have it in the Lemon Creme. It's super moisturizing but not greasy and contains 30% shea butter. Much better than L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream for both cost and quality.

This Hand Cream is awesome. The texture is perfect and the smell is lovely.

I absolutely love this cream. It has 30% Shea Butter, but it does not feels greasy. I put it on and can still feel it hours later(after several hand washings).
