This is HANDS DOWN (pun intended) the BEST lotion I have ever used. For those that don't think it works, I have to wonder if they have the driest hands on the planet?! I even think the price is reasonable considering how well it works. Unfortunately, my B&BW no longer carries it (sounds like other stores might reading some of the reviews), but I just order from their website. LOVE THIS!! continued >>

This can be had for cheap at BBW sales and with a coupon. I don't think I've ever paid more than $3 for these. I love this as it moisturizes with no greasy film and has a very light scent that dissipates quickly. One of my HG hand lotions.

Expensive but amazing product. I bought this in a C.O. Bigelow set and love it! It has the perfect consistency, not too watery or greasy. It absorbs quickly and smells good. Definitely recommend this!

I work with lots of paper everyday, so my hands get especially dry and are subject to many paper cuts throughout my work day. That said, I'm on the great hunt for a good hand moisturizer.
So far it gets the job done. I like that it doesn't leave my hands greasy, and leaves a sort of layer for a while.

I got this as a gift. It is a so-so product. It gives kind of matte finish, however I would prefer more moisturized finish. I usually mix a little bit of baby oil with it.

I bought a small tube of this about 3 years ago and I still have it. About this time of year I dig it out and promise myself to use it up before buying something else but it keeps ending up in the reject bin after a few uses. My hands get really dry this time of year and it only gets worse as winter rolls around. I don't think it's all that great a moisturizer (this is silicone based) and for the price there are much better products with better ingredients. I just can't get myself to toss it or use it up.

Most hand products I've tried over the years come in a cream form, all of which I find leave some degree of stickiness and residue that make it difficult to type or pick up small objects immediately after applying. C.O. Bigelow's Quince Hand Lotion differs in that it is a lightweight lotion. I enjoy the comfortable, yet protected feeling of this product, especially in hot summer months. The tube is perfect for stashing in my desk drawer at work and the apothecary-type packaging makes it appropriate for men as well as women. It is also fragrance free. I didn't notice any scent after using a tube for several weeks, but there is a slight neutral note (maybe from the quince?) if you focus on finding it.
From the back of the tube~

Wow that feels wonderful on the skin. dries quickly without the sticky icky feeling, and its good enough to put on your feet. the smell is minimal so quince is a winner in my book.

I love this lotion! It just takes a little bit to leave my hands feeling smooth and moisturized for a long time. I don't think that there is any oily residue and it seems to sink in pretty quickly. I also like the upside down tube, it makes it easy to get all of the product out of the container, which is important considering the price. The smell is ok, I don't find it offensive, just a little "herby" I guess. I will repurchase this even at full price, and it is very rare for me to spend so much on a lotion. I live in the desert and this really helps my hands to stay healthy looking instead of turning into reptile hands. If you have super dry hands, this is definetly worth a shot.

I'm surprised at the low ratings on this product, because I really like it. The quince scent is citrusy and uplifting, not cloying or nauseating. This hand lotion has a consistency more like a rich buttery cream, and is light yellow in color too. It sinks in quickly and is non-greasy. I would definitely repurchase this to have in my rotation of hand creams.

This, like pretty much of all the C.O. Bigelow products I've tried, is just okay. Does nothing for serious dryness that one may experience in the winter.

I gave this product a 4 instead of a 3 because while I don't feel that it's an amazing miracle product, I would repurchase. It makes my hands softer but doesn't cure them of dryness. What boosts its rating is that it smells really nice and lasts forever even when being used every night.

Dr. Hiosous Quince Hand Lotion - There's nothing special about this lotion. The scent to me smells fruity, but like a bunch of fruits mixed together - very general. And the smell does not last long. It's only slightly moisturizing... not that great for dry hands in my opinion. The only thing I commend about this hand lotion is it claims to create a protective barrier on your hands to lock in moisture, which does work to an extent because my hands do not lose moisture quickly as they do with cheaper hand lotions. For the price, however, I wouldn't purchase it again.

Eh..No real scent to speak of. It sinks in nicely and doesn't feel greasy afterwards. My hands felt good after using it but there is nothing stand out spectacular about it. Shea Butter is 5th on the list of a ton of ingredients so that is a plus, but I think it was just kinda thrown in there after the fact as the 1st few ingredients actually make up the lotion base...

And $9 for a 2 oz tube? Really, It's not worth it. My Gold Bond Ultimate works better for far less and you would get way more. Don't get me wrong this is a decent lotion but not worth it, not even on sale... There is better out there.

I received this as a sample at BBW. It was enough for 2 uses. The lotion doesn't have a fragrance to it, it absorbs pretty good and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. Too bad it doesn't keep my hands moisturized for more than 5 minutes. Not something I would buy.

I love this lotion and I use no other after discovering this because it absorbs fast and it doesn't leave a greasy feeling like all other lotions I've tried. I really think no other hand lotion can compare to this.

I love this hand lotion. It is moisturizing, but absorbs very very quickly and leaves my hands soft. It is not greasy at all which earns big points with me. The product is designed to be unscented. You can smell the citrus quince scent when you first apply, but it is supposed to disappear very quickly and not leave your skin scented. I absolutely would buy this again.

This is a real pleasure to use, both for the juicy scent and the moisturizing quality. I feel like I'm wearing silk gloves for hours! It comes in a nice small travel size, which is cheaper (around $8) and after you use it you'll want to get the larger tube, which is about $15.

i love this hand lotion, i consider this to be one of my "day" lotionds because it absorbs quickly and the scent soons fades so that it doesn't interfere with any other products that i am wearing. the scent is the natural quince, so it is suppossed to fade. i noticed that listed as a complaint from other people. to set the record straight, any product with the natural fragracne it going to fade within several minutes and the best way to have a fragrance that lasts longer is to have artifial fragrance. this has a very nice texture and sinks it quickly. it cures my dry skin and lasts throughout the day with few touchups. i am almost done with my first tube and will pick another one up soon.
