I have this in 105/yuca and 110/caja. The colours are quite similar, a skin toned sort of glimmer, with caja being a bit bronzey and yuca a bit rosier. I bought themfor cheap at a warehouse sale. I'm glad I didn't pay a lot for it because it wasn't worth it for me. I have deepset eyes and find not only is the colour invisible on me (other than the shimmer), but it creases and fades in no time flat. Sorry to bring the rating down, but this was a disappointment.

I was getting my makeup done for a wedding and couldn't help but buy this product after seeing what a soft shimmer it gives. I have this in 100 acacia, which is a soft pink. It is great to highlight under the brow and in the corner of the eye, but I love it on my cheekbones. It's expensive but you only need a little bit per application. Will definitely buy this again!

I use the Yuca shade, which is a gorgeous light sandy/pink color with a glowy finish. I love that it's a thick formula, so you only need a tiny dot for each eye. It spreads wonderfully, never creases, and just gives my eyes a nice glow. It's also never irritated my eyes. I only wish this came in more colors, since I could see myself using these exclusively. It's just so easy to swipe this on & go! continued >>

I wear this on my eyes when I want a little bit of shimmer and a natural look. I can wear it to work or put some on before working out, that is how flexible it is. It is so light and it really takes just a little tiny bit to cover the eye area. Anything left can be used across your lips or as a highlighter on your check bones. This is one of those easy yet so effective little makeup pieces that you could take it with you camping and still look natural yet glowing. I have light eyes and skin but this would look awesome on anyone. As a matter of fact, the friend who recommended this to me is half African American and she loves it.

i have the same colors as kazberry, below, and i love them too! the yuka is a neutral rosy shade that that warms up my brown eyes perfectly; any extra product on my fingertip, i rub over my cheekbones as a highlighter. i have found that these shadows tend to seperate - shake up the little tube before applying, and as others have said, you only need the tiniest dab. these are great alone or as a base for other shadows, they're creaseless either way. nice *gleaminess* without glitter. the umber has a golden smokiness that is great with a bronze liner. they were given to me and are costlier than eye makeup i usually purchase, so would i repurchase? yes, although so little product is needed i can't see using them up for a looong time...

This is a great cream eyeshadow. No creasing whatsoever, great colors. Just don't apply it with a heavy hand. I just use my finger and blend it in -- it looks natural, fabulous and QUICK. Great for on the go -- I LOVE IT!

I have the Aveda Uruku Eye Accent in 105 Yuka and 110 Umber. And I love them both.
Yuka is a neutral mid-tone pink while Umber is a golden taupe; both of them have a ton of gorgeous shimmer and since it's more liquid than powder, there's no sparkle-fallout on your cheeks. (Yay!)
The Uruku Eye Accent product, in general, can be easily compared with MAC Paints. They're about the same in price and have a similar mode of application. However, the texture of the Eye Accent is much creamier and you have a bit more play-time before it dries. While these may seem like they might only have a sheer wash of colour, they are much like the MAC Paints in that they are very highly pigmented and I find I only need a tiiiiny dab if you want subtle colour and you can layer it if you want more intense colour/coverage. Unlike MAC Paints, the Eye Accent comes in a plastic tube (as opposed to metal) so you don't get that nasty spillout that the Paints are so famous for.
Although I do love the Aveda Uruku Eye Accents, my one complaint is that there isn't really much range of colour. Actually, the two colours I have are so similar in tone, I have to look closely at the label to see which is which. And there are only four (4) different shades available in this line right now. I hope Aveda comes out with more.
Anyway, the overall effect is a beautiful, natural-yet-sophisticated shadow with just enough shimmer to be noticeable but not too dramatic. I tend to use MAC's Vanilla pigment on my browbone with either of these. Perfect for daytime. continued >>
