True, this product hasn't been reviewed since 2007 (a shame!!), and true, it's a simple moisturizer with no bells and whistles and fancy ingredients. But I was looking for exactly that - something to use that doesn't have retinol or AHA or SPF, that I can use under makeup in the afternoon/evening when I don't need that other stuff. This had a perfect record of five 5-lippie reviews so I bought a little, tiny tube and boy, does it rock! My skin is combination, but after I cleanse it it gets kind of tight and dry and this works like magic. If you over-scrub, or over-exfoliate or over-anything, a little dab of this light cream will work in seconds to even out the color and soften your face. It smells delicious - like the woods, sort of. And even though it clearly a veteran product, it's easily available (in a few sizes) on Amazon, where I bought it, and shouldn't be overlooked in favor of the newer "better" products. I love it and chances are when I run out, I'll buy it again.

I am really enjoying this cream right now both as a night cream and under my makeup. It seems to be smoothing and healing and very moisturizing without being too heavy. I'll update if anything goes wrong but so far this could render everything else in my stash useless.

Amazing!! This product is just amazing. I love it. I had been looking for a very good moisturizer for years now. I used to use Aveda's Hydrating lotion, but that just makes my face oily; recently it's made my face both oily and sticky. This moisturizer got good reviews from another website and I tried it. I can use it in the summer; all I have to do is reduce the amount I use. A little goes a LONG way. I live in Fla and the other day we had a cold snap. When this type of weather comes thru, my face gets dried very easily. If it was the Aveda that I had used I would be reapplying 2-3 times for the next 2 hours, but with this moisturizer, I put a little on and for the entire day it was like any other day outside. No dryness or oily feeling. It does what it's suppose to do. This is my HG of moisturizers.

I do not have enough positive things to say about this product!! It's 100% amazing. I was out of my Clinique moisturizer and went looking for a cheaper replacement. Let me just tell you..... I have insane skin - flakey and dry in some areas, and oily in others. Most moisturizers I've tried have dealt with one issue or the other, but not both. This moisturizer does everything, it's all-natural, feels amazing going on (because of the glicerine, I assume), has nearly done away completely with my dermatities, and I can wear it under make-up. Although, truth be told, ever since I started using this stuff, I don't even NEED make-up - my skin looks that nice! Throw away your other creams!! This product blows them all away!

I've been on this ongoing quest to find an inexpensive, adequately hydrating moisturizer by a company that doesn't test on animals. I thought my quest would never end, as every product I tried either failed to work for my very dry, sensitive skin, or it worked but was too expensive.
A friend recommended Herbacin Moisturizing Cream to me after she accidentally bought it thinking it was hand cream and decided to try it. This product has good moisturizing ingredients, skin calming herbal extracts, vitamins A & E, and best of all, is not tested on animals. I have been flake-free since I started using it, but thankfully, it is not too greasy either. And at $5.49 Can for 100ml, I can't find a better bargain. I'm really happy with this cheap, effective moisturizer!
Update - I found a store that carries this for $2.04 Can! This is now my HG moisturizer! continued >>
