I bought this as a travel body moisturizer because 3 oz of lotion allowed for carry on wouldn't be enough for a week trip.
I love it! It's not greasy, not overly perfumed like so many Lush products and made my skin so soft.

Just slather me all over, wrap me in tin foil and call me Truffles!

This stuff smells incredible, reminds me of dark chocolate mixed with bitter Seville oranges.

I rub this all over my skin before I go to bed, it is such a delicious way to fall asleep.

Leaves my skin silky smooth and feeling oh so soft.

Nice way to have your chocolate without the calories :o)

Great moisturizer.

I really get little fragrance from this bar. The SA told me it was packed with Neroli. Yeah, okay.

The coconut and cocoa butter come through, but not very long lasting in terms of fragrance. I would classify this as neutral in terms of fragrance. You should be able to layer just about anything over this without too much conflict --- I'd diplomatically suggest that much more are flights of imaginative beauty OCD fancy.

However, this is a moisturizing POWERHOUSE.

The days I use this my skin is like silk. Unbelievable. I've gone a couple of days using an oil moisturizer, one I consider good, but when compared to the Lush ..... there is no comparison.

This stuff makes my over 40 skin like absolute silk ....

A little does not go a long way with this. Very easy to go through a bar quite quickly.

Worth every cent, however.

The bar is shaped like an oval soap, it's not particularly slippy, so is easier to pick up. I use just after a shower when still slightly damp, and the skin is a little warmer. I literally hold the bar in one hand and directly rub it onto the skin, concentrating on my limbs first, before my middle and back. The cocoa butters and shea butters in the bar melt easily, and if your skin is damp there is virtually no resistance. I have tried using this during the day, and you have to warm the bar up more to prevent resistance, and give an effortless glide. Your skin does feel moisturised after use, with no stickiness, but I found the product to be quite greasy when left on the skin for up to an hour afterwards before it was all absorbed into the skin. I nearly came to blows with greasiness of this product, as I stuck on a pair of cheap harem pants after applying to my stomach, before I realised the waist of the harems was left with a big greasy mark. This mark didn't move much with plain tap water, and it stuck around the whole day, but did come out easily in the wash. After this experience I would recommend using the massage bar before bed, and certainly not before wearing your best dry clean only outfits.

Well the base of the fragrance is shea and cocoa butter, and the cocoa butter definitely comes through. There is also some energising citrus oils, along with the relaxing essential oils of neroli and lavender. The overall effect is a herbal chocolate orange smell, I actually think it is quite festive. I personally find the smell overpowering, and it does interfere with perfume, which is something I am not keen on. Although if you wanted to wear a scent alone this would be nice. A word of warning, the first time applied this was after my shower right before going to bed, and the smell was so cloying and overpowering I couldn't sleep, so go easy until you get used to it. I was particularly surprised by this as the sales assistant recommended this one for its light fragrance. Particularly as the scent lasts four hours plus on my skin. I have been wearing this in spring/ summer, and I find it too heavy at the moment, and think the scent would be more suited around autumn/ winter.

Not too keen on the smell of this. It is really moisturising though but I wouldn't buy it again because I have other moisturisers that do the same but have a more appealing scent to me. I found that towards the end, little pieces that broke off I could use a bath melts

This is my favorite massage bar that lush offers. It smells like a mixture of orange and chocolate. Many people say that it smells like lavander however, I do not smell lavander at all. I rub this all over my body and it makes my dry skin soft and smooth, kind oily so I only use this at night. I took off a lippy because it is $9.95 and it only last around 2 weeks, kind of expensive for a lotion. I would definately buy this if you are pregnant and are wanting to avoid stretch marks or if you have stretch marks because using this faithfully every night has reduced the color of mine.

I'll start off by saying that I like the idea of a massage bar and really enjoyed the feeling of this product. It glides on beautifully, leaves my skin feeling silky, and also leaves a nice sheen (although I could understand how many people would find this too greasy). Personally, my skin gets very dry, so I appreciate the extra moisture, and don't mind if a product doesn't quite sink into my skin completely.

The problem is, I'm really not fond of the smell. This smells mainly of cocoa butter (which admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of anyway, so silly purchase on my part), with an herbaceous overtone, and a sharp citrus tang. I could tolerate just cocoa butter (even though I don't love the smell of it), or just herbs and citrus, but not all of those elements together. It's just too acrid and mildly sickening to me. But oddly enough, I still don't hate it, and even like it at times. Weird. Also, after awhile, it mellows out on the skin and just smells like lavender with a hint of citrus, which is very calming. But I can get that same effect with a lavender body lotion or butter that doesn't require a "mellow out" period. Overall, I was very disappointed in this product and will not be repurchasing it.

This is the first thing I had ever bought from Lush. I really like it. When I first got it, it was really moisturising. It's been about a month and it takes longer to melt it into my skin now. I keep it in the tin that you can buy for massage bars. As for the smell, I actually really like it. And I know the person who sold this to me said that this helps get rid of stretch marks, so I use it twice a day on mine. I actually have noticed some fading, which is awesome. I really do think that this would last awhile. I use it fairly regularily and I still have a lot left. All in all, a great product.

I love this massage bar!

PROS: It smells like sweet orange chocolate, its super moisturising, it somehow got rid of the scars i had on my legs as well as dry scaly skin, even my boyfriend loves it! wonderful for massaging your muscles after the gym and a shower!

CONS: Packaging must be bought separately, the bar runs out too fast (or maybe i use it too much!), Its pretty expensive for what it is - Not enough to deter me, but enough for me to think about it when buying it.

Overall, I think this is a great massage bar and i will definitely be repurchasing at some point, after i try the other delicious scents and flavours!

I really love the texture of this massage bar. The oils soak right into my skin and never leave me feeling greasy. That being said I HATE the smell! I can't believe how many people like it. I will use this bar until it's gone but I dont think I will repurchase.
