Pale pink roses float on top of a light musk base. Beautiful, feminine, understated beauty. I feel good wearing it. And that's the whole point. I wear 'it', 'it' doesn't wear me. I have already repurchased.

YSL Paris is the type of classic that needs no improvement imo. So, you can understand why the limited editions have not measured up, in my humble opinion. Roses Enchantees is quite pretty, and it is a wonderful interpretation of springtime. However, my frustration with this is the same as the other YSL Paris LEs: It is too faint to make a lasting impression. There is so much more that YSL could have done with the springtime LE concept. Disappointing.

I bought this frangrance at the airport duty free shop in Brisbane Australia. I absolutely love this scent as it is a sweet floral that is not too overpowering yet still smells unique. I prefer to wear it in the spring and summer months. I am generally not a huge fan of YSL fragrances (Babydoll smells like rotten marmalade on my skin) but i would definitely recommend this one.

Roses Enchantees is a very pretty YSL Paris limited edition perfume, very light, feminine and easy to wear. On my skin it is a blend of young roses, slighly green in character, and quite sweet (almost, but not quite, too sweet!) I also agree with the reviewer below that there is a faint hint of lily of the valley. This is a lovely springtime fragrance, but it would have to spritzed liberally and frequently as it does not last long - about 2 hours on me!

This is a lovely, clean, light eau de toilette for Spring and Summer. Gentle and soft, perfect for hot weather. The mixture of different colored roses makes it soft, not sharp, unlike some red rose perfumes. I wish the scent was a bit stronger, but I guess the whole point of these limited edition YSL Paris in big bottles is to spray them lavishly.

I used to love the first Paris, has been my signature scent almost 15 years ago and these new light editions are really well made, light but well balanced.
Roses Enchantčes is my favourite one, because it's the smoothest and more feminine rose scent, where the other editions are sharper.
Light but present and not morphing, perfect if you're in hot weather and still you want to feel like a woman and not like a basket of lemons.

This is sheer and perfect for summer, when you don't want anything too heavy. True, it doesn't last a whole day, but again, it's a great summer fragrance that you can mist on without thinking about it.

My love affair with Yves St Laurent's Paris line continues! Every year I buy the special spring addition. This is just lovely and the bottle is worth the price alone. I own Paris, Paris de Printemps and Roses des Bois. Yes they all smell similar, but each definately is a little different. I always get positive comments whenever I wear any of my Paris fragrances. I love that not everyone wears it, I hate to smell like everyone else. This is just rose and a slight bit of soapiness. If you don't like rose based fragrances, any of the Paris' aren't for you.

While I am not a fan of the original Paris, I absolutely adore Roses des Bois, the 2004 Limited Edition.
This new one seems bland in comparision and has absolutely no staying power.
Will pass on the bottle I have already bought, and will go on-line and purchase another bottle of Roses des Bois.

When Paris first came out I purchased both the perfume and the EDT. I liked it,but then it just seemed to be too strong for me,especially considering that roses go a LONG way with me.Obviously very feminine, and long-lasting.I gave it all away. Now I've tried Enchantees, and this is what I was looking for! The same rose accord, but more subtle. It is not strong when I sniff myself, but has a great sillage.

In my quest for a lovely, yet not overpowering rose scent, I found this product. At the store, it smelled lovely so I decided to purchase it. It is a lovely soft rose but I don't see how anyone would know it. After spraying it on myself, it seems to literally sink into my skin. A hint of it remains on the surface but, overall, I don't think it would have a "smell" impact on anyone that came within 1 feet of me. I wear it and can barely notice I am wearing it. This is such a shame too. To be such a lovely rose scent, YSL should have added that one ingredient that would have kicked it up a notch and made it more noticeable. This perfume is like the pretty girl in class in sits in the corner and never says anything. Although she is pretty, no one notices her; this is exactly how this fragrance is--pretty but not noticeable or note worthy. My quest continues.
Because this scent is so light, I antiicipate using it up quickly as I likely will use it as a splash. continued >>

I tried this, thinking it would smell like Softsoap's delicious Rose & Milk hand soap, and while this has both a soapy smell with rose... eh. It's not the same. This also has a touch of musk for me, which I dislike, and the "soapy" smell is not a pure soapy smell, either. It's tough for me to describe, since I can't describe notes well (sorry!). Roses is the main smell of it, and while it's pleasant, the drydown on my skin is just meh. It smells like slightly powdery, slightly rosy, slightly cologne-ish, slightly musky, so it's not for me. I can appreciate a rose & soap smell, though, so 4 lippies it is. Just doesn't work with my body chemistry, but it is pretty pleasant overall. continued >>

This is a beautiful rose scent - I tested it the other day on my wrist. It does not have a lot of sillage, but did last as a faint rose impression on my wrist all day. Definitely less strong than the regular Paris EDT or EDP, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. This is a very pretty light rose, with something else (not sure what). I am considering a purchase.

"An array of multicoloured roses in pink, apricot, and lilac, reminscent of an enchanted garden. A fresh, floral harmony enhanced by green notes of rosebuds."
I must agree with Annieytown: This fragrance is like a breath of fresh spring air. It's a lighter, sweeter rose scent, not spicy, sultry, or heady in any way. I also noticed a soft peach note in the drydown. The bottle is so pretty, like a rosy sunset of pink, yellow, and lavender, with a black and pink cap. The staying power is not as strong on me as I'd hoped, but at this low price, I'm willing to spritz myself generously ($46 for 4.2 fl. oz. at Lord & Taylor, including a box of four mini soaps). continued >>

This is a limited edition fragrance from Yves Saint Laurent. The names seem to vary from Roses Enchantees to Springtime Roses(on Saks.com) and Paris Springtime(on Sephora.com). It is one of my new favorite fragrances for spring. It is a beautiful fresh rose based scent. The notes are roses(pink, apricot and lilac)with a base of sandalwood. I detect some lily of the valley and green notes. It has wonderful staying power and is a steal at $45-$50. I sniffed it and immediately purchased it. It really feels like a breath of fresh clean springlike air. Cavewoman wore it recently during a shopping trip and everytime I caught a whiff, it was just heavenly. I can not rave enough for this one. High lippies.
