I have this in Chamois and its a perfect match for my pale yellow based skin. I also can wear BB Porcelain, LM Porcelain Ivory. I'm oily and this goes on smooth and looks good most of the day. I really love the pale yellowness of the color, I have a hard time finding foundations because most pale colors have pink and I'm yellow-white. I'd definitely recommend this.

This is a great everyday foundation. I sometimes get extra oily skin days, & this is good for that. It will look fabulous for around 5/6 hours (with normal activities), & then it will need a slight touching up. The coverage is fairly good, I'd say medium. I have combination/acne prone skin, & it does tend to cover well. Removes easily, blends well, easy to match to your skin tone, & best of all... Doesn't make me break out! You can't go wrong for the price (although it's been discontinued now, so when you do eventually find it, it's super expensive :(). Anyway, I'd recommend to anyone! Great for all skin types. continued >>

I like the performance of this product it does what it says. I have oily skin and prone to blemishes. But I got the wrong shade (BUFF), I'm NC25-NC30 I don't know which shade is right for me since there's no other available shade. So sad.

I have this in neutral and it suits my nw20 skin well. It is the only foundation I can use in the tropics which last all day without any oxidation. However this isn't suitable for wear in the temperate climate for me. I think it might be the salicylic acid content that makes me flake like crazy in temperate climates.. All in all, I will repurchase as long as I stay in the tropics.

Out of all the drug store brands that I've used, this has got to be the best foundation for my skin (Asian, medium, yellowish, oily and blemish prone with perioral dermatitis >___<). I was really sad when I found out that it's been discontinued but thanks to the person below I was able to find it at BIGLOTS for $4. Got it in buff 02 (only too shades left, buff 02 and sand 05) and thought that it might be too light for my skin, but it blended surprisingly well and actually made me look, well, "clean." I top it off with a powder and altho some of the color does eventually melt off my face during the day, whatever that is still left on my skin still manages to cover the uneveness on my face. Very pleased with this product and went back to BIGLOTS for that one last bottle of foundation in that shade. Hope these last two bottles will last me a while. continued >>

OMG, I saw this liquid at BigLots today. I had it in my hand ready to check out and I chose the Nearly naked instead because I couldn't remember what the reviews were on it. They were all $4.00!
I bought Revlon color stay also to try.
Let me know if any of you want some!!!!! Biglots in central Florida!
I'll go back and purchase to try.

I would buy this product again if it were still available! One of my friends in high school converted me from the mess that is Cover Girl cheap foundation to this stuff, and I had been a fan since. Wore well on my normal-to-oily skin and it never made me break out once.

I think I have been converted! Before this I used Maybelline dream matte mousse and Natio tinted spot cream because they did not break me out, but this product has combatted the flaws of these and then some! It is plentyful in Australia and the previous reviews about it being discontinued scare me. It goes on cool on the skin and is very light with application, but the coverage is wonderful. I would benefit greatly if it lasted longer as a all day foundation but I am extremely satisfied. I find i have to apply it, wait for it to dry and then dab a little more on to my blemished areas to cover greatly. It contains no sunscreen which breaks my skin out usually and does not clog pores, and my break outs are clearing up already from switching to this product. Ive been using it only 4 days. Definately try it!

I love this foundation and I can't believe that they have stopped selling it in the UK. I used to use L'Oreal Ideal Balance Foundation and then they stopped doing it so, after trying millions of foundations which apparently suited combination skin (but didn't suit mine) I found this one. I think it contains salicylic acid which helps to keep the breakouts down and, once you get used to the menthol smell when you put it on, it really helped my skin and gave it a really nice even finish. It didn't block pores and the neutral colour matched my skin well and isn't orange. The only slight downsides of it are (a) it gives quite a sheer coverage which if you are blemish prone like me often didn't cover them and (b) it does rub off fairly easily when fresh so touching your face with hand and clothing early on is best avoided (c) it doesn't have a pump fitting so it can be quite difficult to get the right amount out. I can't believe that they have stopped doing this foundation. I now have to find something else...any ideas gratefully received!

My favorite. Unfortunately it is no longer available. Gave me good coverage, not too heavy. Didn't look masky. Didn't irritate my skin at all either. According to their website, the Almay Clear Complexion makeup is the replacement.

WHY did they stop making this?! This used to be my HG all throughout high school. I was much paler then (NC35/40) but I used Neutral with the matching compact pressed powder in Light. It was a BIT chalky and light on me but you couldn't really tell because my skin would always look SO NATURAL and glowing. Everyone would compliment me on my radiant skin. Now they discontinued it and I spend way too much time in the sun so I'm like a NC43/C6 so that color wouldn't have suited me anyway. But still, Almay really made a bad move revamping their entire line.

This is great basic everyday, light foundation that smooths on and blends into skin. The shades are pretty good, but not enough range of colours. It doesn't clog pores or cause oiliness or dryness. Is pretty good for the price, higher-end drugstore product. Doesn't contain sunscreen, but this may change the consistency and colours of the product.

I love this. The shade I bought (Buff) may be a little too light with hindsight - but I do love being pale and interesting! This is a lovely light foundation that gives a reasonable coverage - plenty for me, at least! It doesn't clog your pores or feel heavy (I am not generally a foundation fan - I like to be light and fresh and clean) and doesn't irritate sensitive skin. A winner. I really do like it.

It gave poor coverage, and it did absolutely nothing to keep my skin from breaking out, but I feel actually encouraged more breakouts. This stuff was a complete waste of money, as is almost all of Almay's whole line of makeup products!

After trying so many foundations, I forgot I had this one hiding away. After trying I found it is just as good as all the more expensive brands. It evens out skin tone, however it has a very sheer coverage, but if thats what you like then this is great. Im not sure about it breaking you out because I only wear foundation to go out. Overall this is great for the price.

I miss this product every day. Actually, this product was the inspiration for my latest purchase of the clarifying oily skin from the new yellow-purple-etc system.
With this product, I actually found an improvement in my skin. It had great texture, no offending odor, and it didn't sting or burn. I loved this stuff and it'd be great to once again see it on store shelves.

I bought this make up when I was in high school and prone to oily skin and break outs. I thought this would cover up scars and blemishes without clogging my pores. Wrong! After using this for a week or two I broke out even more and my skin isn't even sensitive. The coverage is mediocre and the packaging is fine, just a standard compact with sponge. I personally would never buy this again. Other than the breakouts, it really is just regular-looking make up. The color was ok and it was easy to apply; nothing special.

This is a great product. Has it been discontinued?
Otherwise, I'll have to stock up.

Well I got this on clearance for 2 dollars since its going to be discontinued and I have mixed feelings about it. I got the color neutral and its much lighter than clear complexion's version of neutral. I now need to use a bronzer all over my face any time I want to look normal when wearing this (with clear complexion, just a little bronzer on my cheeks). Also it is much more runny than clear complexion and spills are more likely due to Almays packaging. I feel the menthol only when I apply it to my eyelids. This also makes my face soo oily! Im not gonna experiment with mystery foundations any time soon when this runs out.

My favorite drugstore foundation - purchased 2 of them (I've never repurchased foundations.
I wear SSC in Sand - it's a close enough match for my yellow skin tone but still not ideal. The coverage is okay... I thought it seemed mask-y under certain lights. But it didn't break me out, didn't make my skin even oilier, and was an all-around nice drugstore foundation. Note I rated both SSC and Prescriptives Virtual Skin 4's... but I think VS is much much better. (It's also more expensive... so that factors in too).
I would not repurchase SSC because I think there are better products out there - and 20 bucks extra isn't that much to pay for better-looking skin.
