This is an OK gel. Neither the worst nor the greatest I've ever tried. It's a bit crunchy, but not overly so. Hold is on the medium side. I did not have any problems with flaking. This is VERY strongly scented. I like the herbal essences fragrance, but even I found this a bit overpowering. If you want a basic gel and the idea of a very strong herbal essences scent is appealing to you, give it a try. Otherwise, skip it.

Smells good, holds well, not too much crunch, but flakes everywhere!

It is a thick gel, much like older formulas. Is not the best you can get out there. Somehow flakes.

This stuff made my hair crunchy which I didn't like. That's why I'm not going to buy this again.
