I like the smell of this cleanser and the fact that it foams up well. It cleanses well too, and feels great on my combination skin!

I think this is a good product for acne prone skin. It doesn't dries out my skin and doesn't seem to irritates when I have breakouts. The reason I will not buy it again is because of it's price and since I've aged, I don't breakout as much. I replace this with two cleansers, one for normal day use and one for when I breakout.

I bought this a few years ago for my combination skin. It is a gel cleanser that easily foams up. I find that this cleanser does not clean well and leave residues. It can be drying in the winter season too. Not worth the price.

I used this for about five years on my sensitive oily combo skin and it was a good basic gel cleanser. It has a pleasant fragrance and rinses clean. It would probably be too drying for normal - dry skin as it is not designed for that, but for my skin at the time it was fine. The one thing I hated though was that the cap would alway break on the inside and then it wouldn't shut probably and would leak - into the cap and further. This happened to me on at least five bottles. I used it at night to remove my makeup (not eye makeup, I think that would be ouchy) and it seemed to do a good job. However, I have recently changed to Clinique's Mild Liquid Facial Cleanser which is remarkably similiar, except not as drying and less fragranced, cheaper, better packaged and they don't test on animals. One lippy off for unnecessary fragrance and one lippy off for crappy packaging / ethics.

This is my fourth tubes and just got my 5th tube in my store room! I love both the smell and the fresh feel after cleaning my face with it! I use it as a regular clearnser twice a day, in the morning and at night. I finished one tube every 6-8 months and am going to keep purchasing it! After my 3rd tube, I did try something else, which either cost less or were at a similar price with different brands. But then I found that I was wasting my time and money. So, I come back to this again!
One thing I don't like is if I let the tube stand like the pic showed above, every time when I open it, the gel will pull out too much before I even squeeze the tube! So, I put it up side down!

This product doesn't dry out my skin which is one of the things I like about it. However, it doesn't get all the makeup off my face which is something that really bothers me. Given how expensive the retail value of this product is I would not repurchase it. There are definitely better face cleansers in the same price range.

Not a bad product, but I don't reach for it very often. I've had it for more than 6 months and have barely used 3/4 of it. It's effective I suppose but I have other products that I prefer. No complaints other than it stings if you get it in your eyes. I probably won't repurchase only because there's other stuff out there that I believe to be better for my needs.

My skin is so sensitive and I've been using this cleanser and Lancome toners for years. Before and besides that I have always broken out. However, I recently discovered that Lancome STILL continues to test on animals and have decided not to support them. Does anyone know a good comparison?

This product is utterly HORRIBLE! I have sensitive skin so I thought that this cleanser might help clear up my skin....WRONG! It actually irritated my skin, leaving it red and super super itchy! Considering the fact that this costed me a bundle, I expected it to work and I found that it was even crappier than my Cetaphil Cleanser! I had super high expectations and Lancome, after this product, I will NEVER EVER BUY ANY OF YOUR CLEANSERS ANYMORE!! >=[ continued >>

I find this cleanser lasts a really long time, and a very little bit goes a long way... makes my face feel smoother. I used up one tube, and am on my second tube, but don't think I would rebuy this one again... I feel tired of it... would like to try the mousse clarté though for a lighter formulation

This light gel cleanser was too drting for my normal-to-dry skin so I returned it.

Again, a nice premise, however, this cleanser didn't deliver for me. Liked the fragrance, but this cleanser had terrible rinsability, and left my face feeling like it had been shrink-wrapped. It just set my sensitive skin off and stung like crazy. Again, really wanted to like this product, but my skin won't tolerate it-even in a small amount. Meh.

This must have been my 2nd one now, it's a great Cleanser it really does clean your face, i wear quite abit of make up but i do remove it before with wipes, however i gave it 4 lippy is before after i use it my skin is dry and tight ( i don't have dry skin thou) however it does feel very clean, just need to put some cream afterwards...
The packaging is great but i've had it happened to me a few times when it leaks from the tube, or it leaked into the cap, so doing it up tightly when you finish using it.
recently ( winter time now) my skin has become super dry and after using Benefit's Benetint my face broke out and became really gross and ever more dryer than before ( don't know why) i just brought the Lancome Mousse Clarté, i'll see if that's any better

Really expected to like this. I had been using other Lancome products which i loved such as Hydra Zen, Tonique Douceur, and now Aqua Fusion. Unfortunately i tried this for one week and it left my skin with red patches and seemed i had even more acne. Something must have irritated my skin. Did not dry out my skin though. I prefer something more gentle.

I thought this product was great the first couple of days i started using it as my skin was glowing but after that i just broke out and it didnt do anything for me. It was too strong for my sensitive skin and dried me out. Would not rec for sensitive skin and would also suggest trying some cheaper options as i dont think this is worth the money.

LOVE THIS! My skin feels super duper squeaky clean after this. i use it with the Clarte exfoliator which i also love. Expensive, yes, but if you purchase from StrawberryNET.com it's half the price so well worth it. not much else i can say except i highly recommend it to anyone.

This product did nothing for my combo skin. It has nice smell, but that was the only thing i liked about it. I will not repurchase because i think i can buy cheaper good-smelling products with the same impact on my skin.

I have been using Lancome Gel Clarte (blue tube) for years in the shower every morning (at night I use Philosphy's face wash). I am 39 with normal\combo skin. I find this cleanser does exactly what a cleanser should do - it washes my skin without making it feel either oilier or "stripped". It has a light, non-offensive scent and the packaging is perfect for getting just the right amount - and a little goes a long way. I am sure there are many other cleansers out there that would probably do just as good a job, but I continue to use this one for now because it has yet to give me a reason not to. I'm ok with the price as it lasts me a long time.

My combo skin broke out when I used this product after just one use. I used it for 3 more days just to be sure, but it was definitely because of the product. I have never had this reaction before to either cheap or expensive facial cleansers, so it was an unpleasant surprise. Skin cleared up almost immediately when I changed to another cleanser (not Lancome). Expensive mistake for me.
