I believe this was the first TM I ever bought, and I am currently on my second bottle. I love it so much, I have combo skin and this TM does not make me more dry or more oily. I gave it 4 stars because I am on the hunt for something with a little bit more coverage, since my skin is not perfect and I have more to conceal, as in acne and acne scars. Until my acne gets better and the scars as well I will continue to search for something else. So if you do not have problem skin, I recommend this for you. If you do have problem skin I recommend something with more coverage since this is very sheer.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer is really great for light, even coverage without the caked-on feeling of most liquid foundations. It does not provide a whole lot of blemish coverage, so it usually needs to be paired with a good concealer or corrector. However, while the color might be sheer, it definitely brightens the whole face and is a great replacement for wearing foundation. The SPF 15 is a great bonus. I don't personally like the pump that it comes in, as it can be difficult to get the last quarter or so of the product out. But this is especially great for the humid summers here in Florida, where most foundation will simply melt off your face the moment you walk outside.

This is expensive for a drugstore product, but definitely cheaper than the other tinted moisturizers I was considering. I purchased this in light-neutral, and the match is pretty good. Not perfect, but acceptable. This product is thin and somewhat watery, but it blends nicely and layers easily. I really need two to three layers to even out my skin, but even so, I get a nice finish that doesn't look heavy at all, even after setting with powder. I gave this three stars for all of the above reasons. I will not repurchase it, however, because this makes my skin so oily after a few hours that I look greasy and tired, and somewhat orange as well. I paid about $14.00 for this, and I will not repurchase. I do recommend trying it if you have dry or normal skin.

Absolutely loving this tm! It evens out my skintone with light coverage, looks like skin, is non-cakey, doesn't emphasize my fine lines, & leaves a silky smooth finish that isn't drying. My skin looks radiant, healthy, natural and the fact that this has the extra benefits of retinol, antioxidants, & spf....WOW! My nc25-30 skintone matches perfectly to the shade light-neutral 30. continued >>

I am loving this so far. It goes on smoothly and gives a radiant glow to the face while covering almost all the imperfections. I am reminded of the Purple Lab silk sheets foundation, although silk sheets does give more coverage. Its very silky and goes on very smoothly and gives an almost plumped up appearance. I am a medium-tan skin tone and I purchased the medium to olive as I have yellow undertones. It is just the right color choice for the summer. For the price it is neat!

This is good stuff, evens out my skin tone, has spf. It isn't hugely moisturizing, but it doesn't leave my skin dry. I feel like the balance is good, very very happy to have found an everyday drugstore face product.

I came to the conclusion that at 24 going on 25, my skin needed a little more love. Retinols, here I come.
There is one serious problem with this light foundation - (as this is what this is - light foundation.) The bottle is translucent. Light degrades retinols and antioxidants. Even keeping it in a dark pouch might not help, since the product has been out in the store for who knows how long. That's not to say the retinols are useless, but they're not what they should be. Too bad, because otherwise this would be HG.
The good news is it has titanium dioxide for solid UVA protection, so even though it is only SPF 20, the spectrum is broad. The lightest color is a tad dark for me, but it's easily remedied with proper blending and I use a physicians formula powder on top. The end result is matte, breathable, and very natural looking.

I bought this on the recommendation of my sister. So far I like it better than the other 2 tinted moisturizers I've used (Tarte's Smooth Operator and Physician's Formula). I have it in Neutral to Tan 40 for more of a summer skin face (my natural tone is olive which goes pale in winter, tan in summer). Wouldn't say it's an HG product, but I like it better than Tarte, which treated my skin well, and it's a lot cheaper. Reasons for liking it better than these other two are: more coverage, less ashy/chalky look, more of a matte finish, and the fact that it has retinol so is a treatment as well. It's not moisturizing enough to use on its own for my skin, but that doesn't bother me. I used it over Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre. I heard the packaging is not good for getting all of the product out, we'll see!
**NOTE** -- After trying Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream, I can't really go back to using this, because it does leave somewhat of a chalky look... but then again, it's a lot cheaper than the Smashbox product too!

I like this foundation/ tinted moisturizer the more I use it. It provides light coverage, more so than some tinted moisturizers, and looks natural and skin like. I was worried about the Retinol as I hadn't tried anything else with this ingredient before but I have not had any negative reaction to it. I think it really may be improving my skin texture as it has been looking brighter lately but then that could be just getting a full night's sleep. :) I do find it odd that I need to use the lightest shade (Ivory/Fair) as even that shade looks like it would be too dark for very fair ladies, but on me it blends in well.

So far this is the best tinted moisturizer that I have used. The coverage is nice, you obviously still see freckles but it helps to neutralize any slight hyper pigmentation and broken capillaries. I love it in the spring/summer when it gets hot...little coverage without having a full face of melted makeup. It does have retinal in it but the package is clear so you either have to keep this in a dark spot where ever you do your makeup or just use a separate retinal product. I love that it is a pump. One to two pumps is perfect for me to cover my whole face. I like that it is oil free as well. It isn't super easy to make your own tinted moisturizer unless your foundation and moisturizer have the same base (water and water, silicone and silicone) I still use a moisturizer when I wear this. I find that if I don't it doesn't give me enough moisture. The shade range is ok, wish it was a bit more on the neutral side ( I find them a bit to pink to really match the skin). This wears beautifully on my face even in the summer.

I just bought this yesterday and so far I really like it. It's a great tinted moisturizer and makes my skin look nice. I also got the mineral sheers pressed powder foundation, which I wear over the Healthy Skin Enhancer, and it's a nice combination - not too heavy, nice finish.

I first bought this because I was going on vacation and didn't want to have to put on a face all the time, so I opted for a TM. The only other one I've tried is from Elf which was okay, not really impressed tbh. So I was hoping this would be better.
I love that this has a pump and the container is sturdy. I don't have to worry about it breaking or being smushed inside my bag. For my entire face, I will use 1-1.5 pumps depending if I need extra coverage somewhere. Now the coverage is light; it masks the redness on my cheeks which was my main concern. For other darker spots, I will add another layer of TM and then place concealer.
Overall, I am quite pleased with this product. I do not think it is HG status, but it definitely opened up my eyes to the world of tinted moisturizers. The texture is also quite nice. Application may be a little thin at first, but it feels wonderful and smooth on the skin. I've been using this product consistently for two months, and I believe my skin texture has gotten considerably smoother and plumper. I no longer need as much foundation as I did before.
I will buy again once I run out, hopefully I can get this on sale!

This is a very good sheer tint, which blends out well and plays well with concealers. The sunscreen ingredients are very welcome and do not leave an ashy cast on my skin. If I set lightly with powder on my t-zone and use a blot powder in the same area around midday, the coverage lasts all day (at least 8 hours).
My only real quibble with this product is the packaging: the pump is difficult to use at first and feels flimsy. I'd be happier with an opaque tube given that some of the ingredients may not be photostable.

I thought this product was amazing for all of a week...great texture, great color, great packaging, great light to medium coverage on the face...AND then the cystic acne set in. I'm not talking one pimple...I'm not talking three pimples...I'M TALKING 7 CYSTIC PIMPLES IN ONE DAY! And I have pretty good skin, maybe 1-2 small pimples during "that time of the month". Three of these cystic pimple mountains were so bad that I had to go to the dermatologist TWICE to have them injected with cortisone. I know it was the Neutrogena that caused the severe bumpy-road-face reaction because it was the only new product I had added to my roster and I realized that Isopropyl Isostearate is one of the main ingredients (major pore clogger on the list of comedogenic make up ingredients). BEWARE.

For the summer, this is perfect. I used this all summer once I found it at Walgreens. It's a bit expensive, but it lasts me from 2-3 months. It doesn't cover up blemishes well, or acne scars, but I still loved it. Just don't wear this when it rains, and definitely don't wear this swimming or even if you plan on crying. It melts off. If you sweat a lot....it will run off of your skin so fast. I love that it has a higher SPF and it smells rather pleasant. It is light and airy, and I will be buying it once summer rolls around again.

This stuff is fantastic! I'm combo/oily and this stuff lasts on me all day. I wear spf under it but I always appreciate additional in my color products. It does a lovely job of evening me out without looking like anything on the skin. I'm an NW20 for reference and wear shade 10. I'm sure I could get away with the 20 shade as well. I use this and some concealer, sometimes some powder over it and it looks like I just have naturally flawless skin.
It's much nicer in texture than Bobbi or Laura's tinted moisturizers and I much prefer the color. It also has treatment and a reliable spf in it, so I think this is a big win overall. I have to say that I'm a fan of Neutrogena overall though. They have lots of products to choose from for all skin types.
For a drugstore product, the price is decent I suppose. I haven't compared this to the per ounce price of h/e tinted moisturizers but I think this product does more (retinol treatment and zinc oxide spf) than Laura M's or Bobbi's, so IMO it's superior.

I cant live without this. Everything about it is a miracle product. My skin (all-around) has improved greatly with this stuff. It's very light, it doesnt even look like I have makeup on. Which is what I love about it. It evens out my tone & covers up ,my blemishes without looking caked or discolored at all. The packaging is good, the price a little steep, but I dont mind paying $13 for nice skin.

This is a great everyday product that gives you just a touch more coverage than the typical tinted moisturizer. I consider it for my uses more of a light-coverage foundation than a moisturizer. I find myself going to it more lately when layers of moisturizer and primer feel heavier --- with this you just need the one product and you're good to go. The downside is this thing can streak and be tough to blend, and like many Neutrogena products, can go on uneven and "balls up" on my face.

I really like this and have repurchased several times. If you are getting this to be a true blue "moisturizer" then forget it. It's not nearly moisturizing enough alone but mixes so well with just about everything. If you are like me and don't need a large amount of coverage on normal days and just need to even out your skin tone, mix this with your fav everyday moisturizer (right now im using clinique even better), conceal zits/undereyes, then set with anything (im using mac studio fix , but I use a light dusting)
Overall, I like how it feels on my skin and really appreciate that im using an SPF and there is retional treatment in there as well.
