From the Italian collection of 2001. Not current, so I was pleased to come across a bottle of this (which had a black label and a thin brush)
I think the older style thin brush is preferable to the wide brush as much easier to control.
I would describe the colour as salmon peach (not salmon pink) and It does have a subtle gold shimmer that is visible in the light.
This is a much muted version (less in your face) of Hot and Spicy from the Hong Kong collection. I really like the colour which reminds me of smoked salmon (with a shimmer)
A nicer summer colour that complements a tan and a nice alternative to pink
I rated this a 3 but if there was an option for 3.5 I would have chosen that

I searched high and low for a pinky coral nail polish for months with no luck. This colour just happened to be hiding in my nail polish drawer. I am so glad I found it because it is exactly what I was looking for. Don't let the color in the bottle fool you. I thought that it was going to go on pink with a little bit of a gold tone to it, but it comes out coral. There is a little bit of pink and gold undertones, but mainly a peachy coral color persists. I am not sure if they sell this color still, since I bought it years ago, but this is a hot color for spring that looks lovely on my fair skin tone. Love it!!!

This is very pretty. A pink with gold and orange shimmer. This is very nice for summer. It's a more toned down version of "Bright Lights, Big Color"

This is a great pinked coral with a generous amount of gold sheen. Too bad it has all that gold....I want this color minus the gold glare throughout. Though, this is beautiful for ladies who love lots of gold in the polish! Wonderful application... 2-3 coats with base is opaque.

This is the best shade with any kind of warm toned skin from fair to tan.

It is a brilliant salmon pink to coral tinged pink. It has an eye catching shimmer but it's not over the top frost. I've gotten really good wear, seems to last 4 to5 days before chipping (I put 2 coats on over a base coat). It will cover well for just one coat if you are in a hurry, and even that will last longer than one day.

Looks fantastic with my fake tan (the only kind I can tan) and best of all I found a coordinating lipstick from Clinique.

Try Golden Brandy by Clinique in their long last lipsticks for a shade that tones beautifully with this gorgeous nail polish.

I actually fell in love with the polish, then went searching for a lipstick thinking I'd like something new to go with the nails for a wedding I'm attending.

I'm all set.

Such a gorgeous colour! I bought this on impulse because the gorgeous shimmery coral pink colour caught my eye (the saucy name sealed the deal).
I wasn't disappointed. It's such a fun and summery colour. Even though it's rainy and miserable outside here at the moment, knowing I'm wearing this on my toes makes me want to break out my sandals.
Like all OPI polishes, it goes on smooth and opaque. I only needed one coat to get a solid, opaque colour, but applied two, anyway. continued >>

One of my favorite OPI colors. It's such a gorgeous peachy coral that always makes me think of summer. And it goes on nicely, like all OPI polishes.

I won't go in to the color or quality of this polish, as everyone else has done a great job of that already. I just want to reiterate the fact that this nail polish is VERY similar to the Nars Orgasm nail polish, and about half the price. This polish is perhaps a bit warmer (as in, a bit more peachy than pink) in tone than the Nars, but it has the same subtle shimmer and I am absolutely in love with it. I hope they never discontinue it!

This may very well be my favorite summer polish EVER. I have a neutral-to-warm skin tone and have a hard time finding a color that really stands out. The best way I can describe this color is Nars' blush - Orgasm. It is the same peach (maybe a little bit more pink) with a gold sheen.

No more boring whites/pinks for summer! continued >>

This is a pretty shade, but way too warm a pink for this NW25. It just clashes with my skintone horribly - both the base and the shimmer. Such a shame, as I hunted high and low for this, paid a fortune on ebay, and have now had to swap it away, as it deserved a good home, with a lucky warm toned gal who can pull it off.

I actually bought this thinking it was Melon of Troy, and I'm glad I ended up with it. It's pink with lovely gold shimmer in most lights, bright coral in a few. It is very girly and pretty, even on my orange-toned skin.

This my absolute favourite pink for summer. It's a mid-tone pink with flecks of gold, which really warms it up. This was one of the polishes I always reccommended to customers just because it worked on so many skin tones. The actual reason I love this polish so much has to do with the finish. It actually dries to a flat metalic finish. Almost as if it's brushed metal. I remember I found a polish from the Gap that dried like that and I was absolutely in love. I've finallly found one that'll do it for me from opi.

I love corals but I was a little hesitant to try this polish thinking that it'll look too orange against my neutral skintone. I was wrong. It comes out more pink that orange and looks great on my toes. Very, very summery and um, sweet looking for lack of better words. Being a little tan (which I am right now) defenitely helps to bring the color out. It probably wouldn't look great on someone who is very cool/pale. Anyway, I'm really glad I discovered this color and I plan to use it a lot, especially during summer. This is a definite highlight of OPI Italian Collection.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this to be so bright! On my hands it's just a little bit too much and I'm gonna have to change it before Monday to something more neutral, but the color itself is gorgeous. It's a coraly pink (more pink than coral) shade with gold shimmer. Very good for warm skin tones. I like it a lot, it's very fun and great for warm weather. This color is from OPI's 2001 spring/summer Italian collection.

This goes on very bright! It looked like a pretty coral and went on as an electric coral pink. I love the color, it's gorgeous. Unfortunately, I have cool toned skin and get pale in the winter, so it's not flattering at all, it just looks wrong and out of place on me. This looks pretty in summer when I have a deep tan, especially on toes, and within a few days it fades and the color is more muted anyways. I just wish it suited me when I haven't been spending loads of time at the beach.

I am a medium complexioned African American woman (NW40) and I love this color. I would describe it as a salmon pink with golden sparkles. This color gets the most use out of my 10 OPI brand polishes that I own. My clothing collection is mostly neutral or cool colors so this compliments them well.

I am very cool-toned and on me this shade is a coral, orangish salmon with super frost. Does not flatter my skin tone in any way. It still applies well, however I only tried it on my pinky and took it off immediately so I can't speak for it's longevity. I can see how this would be a lovely light shade for true warm-toned gals!

Overall, I would absolutely buy this color again. I am pleasantly surprised. The short story is that I bought this online from Transdesign SIGHT UNSEEN trying to find a polish by OPI that my nail artist used when I was pregnant. She used a medium pink OPI color and it lasted for THREE WEEKS!! I took a shot in the dark and this color came to my door. I love it. This is the first salmon I've ever tried and it's totally fantastically pretty against my light warm skin.

THE COLOR
The shade is a very light but very bright salmon pink. It is nearly a coral, but it's too pink and too shimmery. It is very shimmery and the shimmer flash is a very bright Barbie pink. But the undertone is pure salmon. It just looks stunning on me. I doubt I would stick my neck out and recommend it to a cool toned gal. I actually think it would look nice against all but the coolest and darkest of skin tones.

THE TEXTURE
The texture is lighter than I'd expect for an OPI. Very very easy to use and not gloppy, nor dry. Very moist and light. Easy to apply but I am still getting a rough texture from my base coat either being too thin or else buffing needing to be done on the ridges and rough toenails. Absolutely not the fault of the polish.

THE WEAR
Unfortunately, I gave this an hour or so to dry then put on a pair of nylon booties to wear with some flats and the tips of the big toe got a little rubbed out. I immediately filled in with polish and it's so sparkly that it should probably not look bad. A really mirrory smooth polish would not be able to disguise the patching.

If you are interested in salmon pinks or shimmers OR think your warm to neutral tones could look nice next to this color, please do not hesitate to put Your Villa Or Mine in your basket! You will love it. I am ranking this as my favorite OPI as of today. It gets my highest ranking which I am saving for my HG products. continued >>
