My hair looks so dry like i put my finger in an electrical socket. I have never seen my hair look so bad. I will be returning it.

Leaves my hair soft, but volumized and not sticky. I have fine, greasy hair that is long and I use this on my roots for a bit of pick me up for hairstyles likes pony tails, etc. I will even use a bit in dry hair for when my hair is a bit oily and I am going out - does the trick!

I have fine limp color treated hair that gets crunchy and frizzy easily with styling products. I bought it because of the reviews I read and i love it. My hair is full and smooth with bouncy waves. I can run my fingers through my hair without it sticking and tangling while I am drying it. I used mine on mostly dry hair before making a sock bun and it came out great. (I have bra strap length hair) I will repurchase, may have found my HG.

I used this mousse while at my Mother's house one day. I was plesantly surprised at the curl control it gave me. My hair is thick with rather coarse medium/large curls, but this product added a sheen to my hair that very rarely occurs. I used a blob of mousse about the size of a navel orange. First I applied a squirt or two of Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny. After drying with a diffuser I was left with an insane amount of shiny curls.
I woke up the next day & what do ya know- my curls were still perfect !!! I just shook my head, moved a few curls & hit it with hairspray.
As ststed these products were my Mother's (who has very baby fine hair). They plump her hair up and you'd never know her hair was thin.
I will add this mousse and the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny to my HG list, because it truely works. continued >>

I have Asian hair--it's thin and there's a lot of it, and it gets limp quickly. This mousse definitely works--I keep it out of my roots though, finger comb it through the rest of my hair damp. Then I blowdry with my hair upside down, and honestly, at first, I was concerned there was too much volume (it worked too well!), but it deflated a bit and lasted all night as long as every couple of hours or so I flipped my hair over and tousled it. Hair is soft, but I can't run my fingers through it without getting caught, which I'm not used to. Not a big deal though! I like this. I will rebuy.

I have naturally wavy hair and got this product in a 2 oz size so it wasn't much to lose in trying it out. I was quite surprised with how much it gave my hair volume while keeping it in place without being too sticky. Definitely a product I'll continue to purchase.

Gross - i really had high hopes for this product. i have shoulder length hair that tends to get oily by the end of the day. i love aura lemongrass mousse (alcohol- free) but can't seem to find it anywhere in canada so i tried this. it felt heavy in my hair, gave minimal volume and made my hair oily after 6 hours :( i will be returning it!

I'm another fan of this product whose search for the perfect mousse has ended. I love it. No crunchiness, makes my hair silky, soft, and shiny and not too 'poufy', adds shape and some definition to my fine, color treated hair without making it look puffy or frizzy, yet it is not greasy and my hair does not stick to my head. I love this mousse, my hair feels moisturized and not dry when I use it. It's a little more expensive than most drugstore brand mousse, but it really stretches out when you emulsify it in your palm. I had a trial size can and that "sold" me, I used it all up and bought a full size which lasts a really long time. The can is huge. Great smelling, too.

Best mousse I ever tried. I have long, fine, damaged hair and this gave me lots of body with incredible shine and unlike every other mousse I tried it did not make hair feel dry and tangle.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff!!! Usually, volumizing mousses tend to dry out my hair or make my frizz worse; not this one! It volumizes nicely and leaves my hair so super shiny! Best of all, it is easy to purchase - right at the drugstore or grocery store. Nexxus better never stop making this product. This has truly become my HG. I will continue to buy this product again and again. If you have naturally curly, fine hair like mine, then this product is definitely for you - very nice volume with lots of shine! Give it a try!

I agree with the previous review. Anyway, I wanted to give this a try, because it does read: alcohol free on the can. It has a nice fragrance and manageable. Some hair styling mousse feels sticky, and this one doesn't. I have extremely fine, poker straight hair that is thining with age. It may not hold body/curl all day ( goes back to my hair type ), I still prefer it over most brands on the market. I also use an alcohol free hairspray made by, Ion ( Sally's Beauty Supply store ).

My search for the perfect mousse ended. This product kept my long thick curls in control without the crunchie / dryness I found with other mousses. I highly recommend it for curly hair. Thank you Nexxus!

Wow! I cannot believe the poor reviews of this product!! I loooove this mousse. Admittedly, when I first tried the product I wasn't impressed, but that's because I was totally inexperienced with mousse and didn't know how to use it. I ended up giving it to my mom. She used if for awhile and liked it, but she prefers to use gel. During the time she had the mousse, I tried several other mousses including So Sexy by Victoria's Secret and Sexy Hair Concepts. I found these to be drying and stiff! I snagged Mousse Plus back from dear mom and am so glad I did. I find this mousse gives incredible body and shine to my hair without buildup or weighing it down. My hair feels so soft and never crunchy. It also allows my hair to hold fabulous curls even in high humidity (usually my curls will last thirty minutes then fall completely out). The packaging is very classy, and the lid design keeps it from falling off in luggage while traveling. This is my all time favorite styling product, and I will be buying it as long as they make it. Oh, and I adore the smell--very fresh and clean!!

I give this mousse a 4 because it works well, like a good mousse but nothing outstanding. The soft hold lasts all day on my hair, it didn't dry it, bottle lasts a good time, i don't need a lot to get good results.

When the nicest thing you can say about a product is that it has great packaging you know it's not good. This product has the coolest lid--you have to line up the little notches to open it, a feature that comes in handy with a preschooler who wants to be just like Mommy and apply all sorts of products. Unfortunately, that's where the overall good ends. The product is light and airy, applies easily, gives good curl formation--and leaves my hair dry, brittle, and straw-like. Honestly, it feels fried and crunchy. It's taken a week of babying to get it back to normal. I'm a hair care product junkie who loves to RAOK items that don't work for me, and I cannot even rationalize giving this to someone else to try.

Though this made my hair shiny, soft, and smooth, it didn't really do much for me in terms of thickness or volume. It has moisture that I don't need due to my oily hair and scalp. I think the few times I've used this, it eventually weighed down my hair throughout the day, not as bad as a couple other salon mousses I've tried lately but nothing I'm going to spend $10 on again. Oh well, maybe Nexxus Vitatress Bodifying Mousse might do something for me. The Vitatress line is supposed to be for oily thin hair.
