Ok my only problem is this being in a bottle, because it's too rich for one in my opinion. Other than that the smells is as the previous lady described, syrup lol. It smells awesome, lasts a long time, and makes my skin super silky. I also use this in my hair lol, I love it!

I really like this lotion's feel. It has a silkening effect on the skin, turning the worst winter flakies into baby softness. It's completely non-greasy, too, which is a bonus when you're in a morning rush and need to get those jeans on right after application. As for the scent, well, after you've eaten pancakes soaked in Log Cabin, have you ever just rinsed away the stickiness from your hands and then caught a whiff of the syrup smell wafting from your tips later? This is EXACTLY what Melissa's Blend smells like to me. It's suppossed to be a mixture of eight different vanillas, but I get the lovely burnt sugariness of pancake syrup residue warmed on fingertips. The scent stays close to the skin, only becoming apparent when the belotioned arm is thrust against your(or someone else's)nose. Really, it's very, very nice!
