This is a wonderful, non-irritating cleansing gel for combination skin and is effective for removing oils and light make-up, but if you need something that is more effective at removing heavier makeup and/or sunscreen yet rinses clean and does not sting eyes, I highly suggest Peter Thomas Roth's Foaming Facial Wash!!!

I'm constantly trying new cleansers, and this gel cleanser is wonderful! It's a very thick, translucent gel with a light scent, and just a pea size amount produces tons of lather and really cleans your face. I don't feel like I have to wash twice to get all my makeup off like I do sometimes with other cleansers. Combination Skin Cleansing Gel is definitely not the best for dry skin, but if you have oily or normal/combination skin, this is great! It feels luxurious and refreshing going over my skin, and I find it to be worth the price.

This cleanses very well. It removes all my makeup and keeps me from breaking out. It's perfect for my oily, blemish-prone skin (may be too drying for people with dry skin).

I really mean to give this a 2.5--a neutral. It's not an awful cleanser, but it's no different from a drugstore brand.
I have combo skin, and this product leaves my skin feeling refreshed, but I tend to get some dry patches afterwards--so perhaps this is better suited to someone who has true oily skin.
It foams up nicely, has a clean, not-overbearing scent, and rinses well. However, I could use the same terms to describe Neutrogena, Clean and Clear or any other brand.
At $30 a bottle, this is a bit pricey for a simple cleanser that doesn't do anything that soap can't do.

Even though it says it's for combo skin, it also works great for oily skin like mine. It has a great, thick lather and just a pea-sized amount will take off all my make-up. I also like that it is fragrance-free. It isn't cheap, at most places it's $30, but I found a store where I get it for $24, which is still pretty pricey but it does a good job and one bottle lasts me a very long time.

This stuff is nearly identical to the Sensitive Skin Cleanser. It performs the same, has a slightly different color and seems to tingle my eyes more when I open them. It also contains fragrance. In light of that, I'm going to stick with the Sensitive Skin Cleansing Gel.

This is a really good basic cleanser. It does exactly what it's suppose to do without overdrying the skin. The only problem is it's really expensive, $30 for 8 oz. It does last a really long time though, has no scent, and the packaging is very utilitarian.
I've found it's works about as well as the Nivea Foaming Cleanser, which cost about $5.00 and has similar ingredients (although in different order).
