This is a review for the Alba Hawaiian coconut milk body cream. This has to be the best body moisturizer I've used. It's incredibly creamy, it moisturizes brilliantly without being greasy, and the smell is heavenly. I've even used this on my face when it felt dry, and it worked well. The only downside is that it's in a jar, so you have to keep washing your hands before dipping in, but the upside is that the jar lets you see and smell this delicious concoction.

I love love the smell of this body cream! I first bought this when I found it in a package on sale at target. It came with the body wash and the body cream. LOVED both, but if I had to choose one I'd go with the body cream. Everytime I put this on, my bf's mom always thinks its a body spray...There should be a body spray. That would be awesome. so is there one?

Wow, I'm surprised about the negative reviews on here. This product is my HG moisturizer for days my skin really needs to quench or simply feel soft and smooth. The smell is better than any other moisturizer I have tried and I love all the scents: coconut, kukui nut, pineapple citrus, and papaya mango! The latter is the sweetest, so I pick which scent to lather depending on my mood. It took several uses for me to eventually like the scent of kukui nut though. They all contain shea butter and Vitamin E and are paraben free. I'm not sure why they don't sink in to other ladies' skins, this is no problem for me. TIP: these creams feel the best when someone applies them to your skin and gives you a massage! Definite repurchase for sure.

This product smelled good in the store, but when I took the lid off and tried it at home it smelled terrible. It has a plastic-y, fake fruity scent that I find to be overwhelming & it gave me a headache. I had trouble washing it off, too. This product is very thick but didn't absorb very well. Very moisturizing and very delicious smelling cream. This is the way to go if your legs are feeling extra dry, but be prepared to have some residue left on your pants, sheets, towel, etc. Even after letting my legs air dry for 30 minutes, the cream hadn't yet fully sunk in. I don't mind the scent so it's not a huge problem, but I've noticed that all Alba lotion products tend to dry into the same weird musty lotion smell. I don't know how else to describe it, but it smells basically like lotion used and left out for a bunch of days. lol. Anyway, this is still a very good product for dry skin - it WILL help your dry skin - but just be prepared to deal with some residue!

The quality of this product is good. When I first smelled this scent, it smelled heavenly and wonderful. It didn't take long before the scent really got to me - to the point where I had to get rid of the product. Every once and a while I still smell it to see if its improved to my sensory receptors, and it has yet to. Something in the scent structure that was initially melodious, falls short.

Loving all of the alba moistuizers. Dewy skin, non greasy. Usually buy when on sale at whole foods. Can't justify paying full price when there are so many cheaper steals that work just as well- Fruit of the Earth.

I stock up on this product so I never run out! Its amazing. Not messy/greasy feeling. And it smells amazing.

I wish I could write a review for all of the Alba Botanical Products as every product that I have tried I really enjoy and they work! Besides the fact that the lotions and body creams leave my skin beautiful and hydrated- the ingredients aren't bad for me either. Why hydrate or clean with something that works against my natural skin, whereas using good ingredients only help my natural skin be better. I love the Hawaiian inspried scents yet I will use the fragrance-free ones as well.

THis is my favorite lotion ever! I got this as a present in a pack with some other good stuff. I loveee the smell and the creamy texture and how smooth it makes my skin and just everything about it! I just wish it came in a pump bottle.

I found this to be more slimy than moisturizing and the smell was overpowering. Cream just sat on my skin, it never absorbed so it made me feel like I needed to take a second shower to get clean. I usually love mango but this was too sweet and artificial smelling for me. Bought it on sale at Walgreens for 1/2 off so it was not a huge waste of $ but dissapointed since I really love several other Alba products.

Obviously, scent perception is completely subjective. However, once I've plied myself with this stuff I keep sniffing my hands and hearing myself go "mmmmmm". Often, I love a product's scent initially, then come to hate it because of how it develops on the skin. I usually end up nauseous and frustrated with my purchase. This stuff I just found and LOVE. LOVE! Like a madness. It's also VERY creamy and soft but not gloopy or TOO heavy. I would say its too heavy for the summer though. I'm using it mostly at night on my hands when I can go a little crazy and put on too much just for the fun of it for the overnight. I agree with those who would prefer it in a tube, not a tub, for sanitary reasons and not having to screw the lid back on with greasy hands. This is my first review here! I just took another whiff and will add that the scent COULD be a little too much for some, but I'm in heaven.

Like the previous reviewer, I also got this with the Costco Alba package. I have waaaay too many lotions, and this is definitely one of my favorites--and that says a lot! The smell is fruity and not too strong nor too faint. I love how this cream does not leave a greasy film on my hands and body. I just wish it came in a tube because then I'd feel like I can put only clean hands in it.

I got this in a put together kit from Costco & out of the 5 items included, this is one of the best. I love body butters but they can sometimes be too greasy. This stuff is PERFECT. The smell is AWESOME. I will buy this again for sure. I go to Hawaii every summer & this is the first summer I cant make it, and this stuff transports me back. LOL continued >>

This smells incredibly good (a but strong though if you are scent sensitive) it is very tropical and reminds me of being in hawaii. It is a great moisturizer too. Kinda like the body shop body butter if you have tried it, but goes on a little lighter. it left my skin so incredibly soft and i have really dry skin, so i was really impressed. it did leave a little residue on my skin, but it wasn't greasy or anything, so i didn't mind. hours later after using this my skin still felt soft and hydrated which is rare for me. I like it!

I love this body cream. Light texture, goes on like a dream. Good moisturizing power and smells gorgeous. Would prefer a tube rather than a tub. Otherwise, it's another winner from Alba!

the smell is long-lasting and a bit too aggressive. I wouldn't mind, but my BF does, hence the "would not buy again" verdict. other than that, it's pretty good for the price: definitely moisturizing, but not too heavy. could do without the parabens though.

This is a lovely product. Pair this with the body wash and scrub and you can have a decadent spa experience for cheap. The cream is heavy enough to add decent moisture esp. in the winter but is not so heavy that you feel greased up. I find they duplicate the papaya-mango scent very nicely. I do like the scent of the kukui nut body butter slightly better, though.

I rarely use anything up because I get bored with it, but this I have actually repurchased because it is so great on my skin. It does wonders as far as going on smoothly, and the scent (which I love) has good staying power; I mostly use this under my tropical scented calgon sprays that I don't have the matching lotion for because this compliments them well.

I bought an Alba Hawaiin travel kit, and it included a generous sample of this body cream. From reading reviews, I expected a lot of fragrance (either good or bad), but this stuff just does not smell! If I stick my nose right up to the container, I can make out a faint fruity/waxy smell, but that's it. Maybe they forgot to add something to this batch? It seems to moisturize ok, but I'm just not impressed.
