I have come over from the UK to Edmonton and suffer quite horrible nasty winter skin. I'm not used to the cold dry conditions at all. I usually have an oily t-zone during the day but this winter my skin has changed dramatically. It became itchy, sore, flaky and everytime I would spend more than 5 minutes outdoors I would have red flaky itchy patches on my skin. I tried a lot of products that I felt were thick but when they didnt work or were too greasy I would stick to good old Vaseline (I know its not ideal). Then one day I was having a look around Shoppers drug mart and the helpful lady recommended this cream to me and its the first face cream I've ever used that instantly made a difference to my skin. My skin was plump, clear looking, dewy and had a healthy glow. I agree with everyone who has said this a holy grail because its fantastic! I've had this cream for two weeks and that just shows how quickly this product works! Usually by this time I'd be researching another cream to try and wondering how I'm going to get rid of the rest of my bad purchase however, this will be repurchased again and again! Also, I was getting major dry cracked lips, I put this cream on my lips every night and you guessed it, it sorts it out!
The sales lady also gave me some samples of the serum and its equally brilliant and exellerates the results of the cream. Its my next nuxe purchase.

I was looking forward to try this because it said it was hydrating. But the smell was weird, at it made my skin really greasy, and it wouldn't sink into my skin completely.

I prefer the emulsion version to this cream. This one is a bit greasy. I use this only at night and in the winter and it's just okay. I wouldn't buy this again but I would buy the emulsion version again even though I have very dry skin.

I received a sample of this cream, and tried it today. Perhaps it is best for someone with extremely dry skin, or for the winter (for reference, my skin is quite dry, but I don't need as heavy a moisturizer in the summer). I found this cream to be very greasy -- I applied it three hours ago, and my skin is still sticky from it. Not a winner for me. In fact, I feel like I want to go wash it off :(

I don't like NUXE and all the hype around this company
-This cream is so thick , it doesn"t soak into the skin.
-Broke me out.
-I hate the smell.
-I don't like the pot ( not hygienic and very heavy ).
-Makes my face so oily and shiny erk!
-Expensive in France , so I think it's even more expensive in the USA and all over the world ;-)
Overall: I have combo/dehydrated skin ans this moisturizer donesn't do anything for me , it makes my face so oily.

I'm very dissapointed - I was prepared to really love this, but, firstly, it irritates my sensitive skin, and secondly, it's not moisturizing enough. I know my skin is exceptionally dry and dehydtrated lately, probably because we've been experiencing quite a lot of sun this spring after a very gloomy winter, and my skin is reacting. I'm just glad that I tried a sample before buying this cream which unfortunatly is not going to happen.

My skin has been super dehydrated as of late, so much so that standard moisturizers (like my Eucerin Q10) weren't cutting it. I decided to give Nuxe a whirl on a whim, and I'm glad I did. This is a pale, thick white cream that's somewhat heavily scented due to the essential oils. It has a very rich texture, but it sinks into my skin after a few minutes and doesn't feel greasy. If used sparingly, it's suitable to wear under makeup, and it's a great night cream. I'm not sure if this would be great for sensitive skin, though -- I noticed that my retinoid-irritated skin stung a tiny bit when I applied this cream. The jar is fairly large at 2.1oz, but I don't think it's worth the $41 U.S. retail price. However, if you can get it with a discount, it's a good deal.

*this is a review of Crème Fraîche Concentrée de Beauté Suractivée for dry & very dry skin*
I like the rich texture and my skin felt good when using it - none of those insufficient hydration issues I've had with other Nuxe products for dry skin. However, it smells a little strong for my liking and imo it's too greasy to work under make-up, so I could only ever use this as night cream. continued >>

My 50's skin is dry, & by using various acids for the liver spots further dried it more. I like this cream a lot, mainly because of its texture, my face feels so comfortable & satisfied immediately post application. And it looks more plump about 30 minutes later. Its July, & I find by using sparingly, the skin absorbed it quite nicely in 30 minutes before bedtime.
I also received a GWP, a 0.5 oz of this cream in the "normal skin" version. Its also every bit as good as the "enriche" except I used a bit more.
If its not for all you wonderful MUAers, I would never discovered Nuxe, very seldom I find so many favourites in the same line. I also bought the Aroma-Vaillance cream in normal, cleansing water, & Fresh & Relaxing moisture mask, those are all exquisite products, Nuxe's prices are decent, compared to the crazy S----y creams which costs $300-$400 for a 50 ml cream & Nuxe is every bit as good if not better. continued >>

First of all I need to describe my skin type. It is dry overall, T-zone sometimes get oily but not as bad as combination skin. The worst thing is that I can always find flaky skin piece on my nose and forehead and None of the facial cleanser nor scrub can help with this problem! these flaky skin will looks worse when I apply foundation.
Therefore, I do prefer very rich facial cream or lotion everyday. To hydrate my skin and to cover those flaky as well. This cream is very rich indeed but it differs from other rich cream as it is not oily at all! The heavy cream can deep deep taken by the skin cells which makes my flaky skin invisible and helped a lot when I apply makeup most of the times. It is very good for winter use! I will sure buy it again as it is the best face cream I have ever used since I came to the UK. All the other I've used are just not rich enough for me!

Bought this after saw some really good reviews about it.I've been using it nighttime for about a month now and I'm generally satisfied with it,it's a very good moisturizer, even though looks heavy,it makes your skin soft yet not oily, however,I think that's pretty much all about it,doesn't really do any special trick and that's why I'm giving it 4 lippie,I'll probably repurchase in next winter.

Winter in Denmark = windy, rainy and freezing! I needed something to help moisturize my skin during these dark times so I bought this one a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it! My skin just glows, the cream leaving it supersoft - not oily. Definitely worth the money!

*This is a review for Crème Fraiche Suractivée for Dry or Very Dry Skin* I’m very happy with this cream. I use it morning and night this winter and it has kept my skin soft and radiant looking. My skin hasn’t been dry this winter and I can definitely notice an improvement in my overall complexion. The texture and scent are very pleasant and the presentation elegant yet practical. I am pretty fickle when it comes to skincare products and rarely purchase the same products twice but I can see myself actually repurchasing this cream. It is pleasant to use and delivers good results for the price.

Wake up freshed faced with this product. It works! You will have rosy-cheeks and rested skin.
The only down-side: the scent which smells a bit like a christmas tree.

Never have I had such an immediate positive skin reaction to a new product before. The night I first applied this cream, my skin was acting out (hormonal breakout period) -- feeling oily/itchy and having small breakouts appearing around my hairline & chin. With this cream, my skin felt instantly comforted and refreshed, and the following morning, not only was the irritation gone, but my blemishes subsided (and some even dried up!). I'm surprised because this product is supposedly for dry to very dry skin, (and not problem skin by any means). I was expecting the consistency to be very thick and slightly waxy like Creme de la Mer. It's more like smooth custard when scooped out of the jar, but once it hits my skin, it sinks in as quickly as a lotion would. There's definitely some alcohol in the ingredients because of the fast absorption, and my skin feels slightly tingly afterwards and almost matte. (I'm not used to looking matte after applying moisturizer! LOL --- my skin is combination and usually looks dewy after applying any kind of cream or oil.) The product is packaged in a large jar and comes with a small spatula -- I use one good sized scoop with the spatula for my face and neck. So far it's been a little over a week of trying this moisturizer, and my skin is looking/feeling much better than when I was using Sundari essential oils. My complexion has a uniform "normal" appearance. I'm very skeptical when it comes to strange miracle cures like this - LOL! - I'll post another update within a month, but so far so good. (UPDATE: 09/02/06---well, it's been more than a month, but I'm still loving the heck out of this product -YAY! I just purchased some more from beautyhabit :D) continued >>

Well well well, I don't write reviews so quickly. I use the product at least for 1 months or so before. But i will do an exception: i think is the one!
I used nuxe several months ago: 3 pots of nivaresque that did nothing for my skin: good or bad. I bought them on sale so I had to use them. after that I bought the nuxe eye cream, which didnt impress me. I cut it with Nuxe, and i was decided never ever to buy from nuxe again. I took from Jhon Lewis some samples of nuxe beacause they where there(and i love creams, a have lots lots, ) so it was good for my collection. I took 5 or 6 form the concetree de beaute creme so that makes a total of 10 -12 ml. I used them scattered but i noticed everytime that something changed in my complexion.
My skin is dry, usually without impurities. I use retin a and neostrata aha 10 % for exfoliation(and against wrinkles; 27 years old). I was looking for a cream to even out my skin, calm it down (i iritate easlly)make it more radiant and glowy.... Hard task. I didnt try them all but i tried several from clarins, clinique, guerlain...many enough to get sick of them cose they were not workig. I decided than 2 weeks ago that i will use natural creams(at least 90%)or made by myself:) cheaper. I started using some oils and shea butter, mainly alternating with the creams left in my house.
This cream comes into a 60 ml jar. It costs 20 £....which is not exepensive.
I opened the sample: feel the smell, and look over the ingredient list. I was thinking: ah,, this will upset my skin so much...lots of ingredients, the good ones only at the back of the list. I put it on: is quite thick, but it is absorbed very quicly. Wonderfull sensation: it goes ionto skin straight away.
I went to bed,and in the morning i applied the rest of it. My skin was so niceeeeeee....i applied afterwards the sunscreen. I was exepecting to have a problem but it was right away into my skin. Ahhh, esspecially this morning I feel so sorry spreading make up on my skin. It was nice(and i had a bed night):)
This makes me curious ; i will buy a jar. Even this is not a natural one(far far away from it) : it contains a lot of parabens and other chemical, but also some plants extracts.
I will update after i will buy it.

This is a lovely creme. I bought it because I wanted a thick creme for winter and this fits the bill. It is very rich but not greasy at all, and soaks right into my skin with a nice matte finish. The first time I used it, I thought it broke me out, but I have been using it for two weeks now and it leaves my skin very soft and supple. I think the breakout was the result of an overzealous exfoliating episode that happened previous to my using the Nuxe. It does have some oils in it though, fellow occasional adult breakout sufferers. Great for "tight" winter skin. Also love the little scoop so you don't have to plunge your fingers into the pot. A very nice cream at a not terribly expensive price. Will purchase again. UPDATE: Been using this for several months now, every day, and my skin has never looked better or felt softer!!! Love Love Love this!!!

I am sorry to be the minority here but this moisturizer did nothing for me. I really don't understand all the raves for it and I am sure I'd be better off with a drugstore one...

This is just wonderfull for winter. It leaves my flaky dry skin moisturized and radiant. It does not clog pores or give me breakouts. I also tried the regular creme fraiche and also like it alot, but this one is creamier and richer. All I need is a tiny amount for my entire face. My skin type is- dry and sensitive in the winter and combo sensitive in the summer months and this works great for me.

This is a very average cream, in my opinion. It claims to be very natural, but has a very long ingredient list, which happens to be full of chemicals and possible irritants. It's not a bad quality product, by any stretch of the imagination. It DID cause me to breakout though. It also left my skin feeling only *ok* - after putting it on as a night cream I would wake up in the morning with dull, lined, dehydrated skin - with a few clogged pores! I am in my late 20's and need something a bit more productive. Maybe this cream would be good for some, especially younger people. I returned mine to Sephora after 3 weeks use.
It also broke my DH out, incidentally.
