This product is amazing. I ran out of my Queen Helene and decided to try this... and i was blown. Firstly its really affordable and works even better than most drugstore brand. Secondly, it is way easier to squeeze this outta the tube due to its creamy consistency. I always have trouble squeezing my QH outta the tube because it always dries out so quick. Im towards the end of my Freeman tube and will definitely repurchase this over any high end brand.
I didnt give this product a full 5 lippies because I tear every time i slap this on my face. It does sting my eyes but it goes off after a while. Which is STILL bearable due to its excellent aftermath results.
Freeman masques are always my cheap go to facial masques.
This avocado and oatmeal masque makes my skin feel clean, and tight, it smells nice, and is quick to dry. One con i have is that the "fumes" irritate my eyes, but its not extreme, and its great for the price! It ranges from 3 to 6 dollars, Canadian.
Only facial mask I will use! I even got my husband using this product, lol! This is fantastic for clearing out pores and making them appear smaller! Smells good, and doesn't irritate skin or cause breakouts. I use it once a week, and I will never switch!
I just bought a travel size of this mask and used it for the first time tonight. First of all, I love the thick but creamy consistency. Very easy to get out of the package and onto your face (easier than Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque). It hardened quickly, I left it on for about a half hour then washed it off. I was very pleased with the results. My face looked cleaner, brighter, and fresher, not to mention it felt really soft. I think this mask would be great for oily and combination skin people. I plan on buying the full size soon.
This was my first mask, and I'm fairly impressed with the results. I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and cheekbones (they are really ugly, and I've been looking for ways to fix that). The product promises to "purge" oil and blackheads, and I will get back to you on that after I find a dictionary. The product was about 5 dollars Canadian at my local Superstore, and I gave it a try.
I love how easy and mess free it is to apply, and it feels amazing. The scent is really natural smelling, and I feel it working. It dries fairly quickly, but I keep the mask on more than the recommended time, just because I like the feeling. After washing out the mask, my skin feels so rejuvenated, and I can feel that the mask did take out the excess oils on my face. (and I have deadly oily skin) For those with oily skin like me, this would work to control the oils. :) The mask also minimizes pore size, and I have pretty huge pores, and they look barely noticeable now!!
Things I don't like is how the product does tend to sting my eyes if I apply it too close to my eyes, and I was kinda tearing up, so it's a good idea to be careful. Also, I don't think that this actually gets rid of blackheads right off the bat, and today was my first day using it. I've heard of it being easier to remove blackheads after using the mask, and I do have to say it's sort of good at doing that.
What not to do: Lather a thick layer on your face. That'll just end up irritating your skin. Because it'll take longer to dry. I put a thin layer on my face, where it takes around 5 minutes to dry and that ends up making my skin feel clean, tight and refreshed. I use this twice a week.
In general i really like this product. It does everything it claims (except refreshing, personally i really don't feel like it refreshed my skin in any sort of way)
Also, it was hard to take off and I was soaked in water by the time I took the product all off, but that's basically it.
Overall, I really like this alot :) and I love love love the packaging and everything about this so its a complete favorite!
I bought this after I ran out of my Queen Helene Mint Julep mask; it had been my first drugstore facial mask and I loved it so much it made me want to try more.
I like the way this mask goes on; its texture is very smooth and it makes the product spread very easily. It has a pleasant, soft smell and it leaves my skin visibly brighter and softer after I rinse it off. It's fairly easy to rinse off although it will be more resilient on oilier areas of the skin, so just make sure you rinse those parts well. After I rinse if off I can see little white spots where the mask has purged my skin, which lets me know it works effectively. It's also the perfect time to pop stubborn zits and extract blackheads, at least for me, without messing up your skin. All in all I'd say this is a very effective mask at a great price. So, after all that's said and done, why'd I only give it three lippies? That would be because, unfortunately, the fumes from this mask irritate my eyes horribly, even though I specifically don't apply it anywhere near my sensitive eyes area and even if I'm in a well vented area. It's tolerable enough (for me at least) where I can use this once a week until I run out, but unfortunately I'll be leaving this one on the shelf when I see it in stores. Despite this, I'd highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't have a sensitive eyes area.
This mask goes on smoothly and isn't irritating to my semi-sensitive combination skin. My pores look smaller and my face looks brighter after I take it off. It doesn't irritate my eyes at all, but then again I don't put it very close to my eyes in the first place. It says on the back of the bottle not to put it too close to your eyes in the first place.
It was really inexpensive at Walgreens and you get a ton of product that lasts a long time. The bottle is easy to open and close and if it gets too messy you can just wipe it off. I would buy it again but at the same time, I'm also eager to try more of Freeman's masks.
Good basic clay mask, but the scent/fumes irritate my eyes to the point where they're painful and watery. I'd recommend this for people with oily skin and not so sensitive eyes.
